I believe that I have seen a lot of studios neglect the aesthetics of properly grooming their stars to look their best. It is one of the huge problems I have with studios like Ana/Dia or RLD (although RLD is getting better). It is also the biggest reason I love Evil Angel, Private and Dorcel releases. They simply make their ladies look their best.

I agree with you about grooming and paying attention to the aesthetics of presenting the ladies in the best light possible. However, that's doesn't necessarily translate to long fingernails, IMO. Manicured, trimmed, painted, etc., yes.

Possibly you are seeing women in porn without nice fingernails because its never been an issue of attractiveness with them or in their social setting. I find this cause for a moment of consideration for myself over what aesthetically is so desirable about well painted fingernails; it really is a personal thing. Some men love dolled up women (makeup/nails/jewelry.) Others prefer natural women without so much decoration. (Hell, I like HEAVILY tattooed women.) From watching porn, I notice that euro/private stuff has women with nice nails more than US stuff.

I am glad many of you agree that state of average porn girls finger nails is bad at moment. Me, too, at least I want them <trimmed and painted>, feminine in 1 word. For The Fashionistas, we told all the girls that they needed to have their nails (hands and feet) kept up nicely during production. This was specified because one of our cast members doesn't usually do manicures or pedicures. She did a wonderful job of paying attention to her nails during the shoot, and I think it made a big difference in the production. (On the other hand, I hadn't planned on being in the S/M scene until the night before, so I hadn't had as much of a chance to prepare my looks. I was working on crew and moving stuff for the production for the previous 3 weeks, so I was kinda bruised up and my nails were horrible...)

Those of you who were at the ADT breakfast in Las Vegas in January know that I had to go get my nails done before the show opened because I don't normally keep my nails as nice now that I'm a mom and I'm not on camera. But being a porn girl should mean paying attention to all details of your looks - skin, hair, nails, shaving or trimming job, clothes, etc.

An example is I recently met a woman in my apartment building who I could not see well due to the covid-19 face mask. But her hands were so goddamn pretty and her nails were trimmed and clear manicure.
