It's his age (in part), but mostly because he just is terribly out of shape. Yeah porn girls fuck for money, however, they do want to at least like the visuals in a scene. He hasn't taken care of his body since the mid 80's. Yep. He hasn't put much effort into his health for a long time, and that does affect your performance as you age. Even ED drugs can't help you all the way if your body is really shot internally (bad diet, terrible cardio, things like that), Honestly, a Ron Jeremy scene in 2016 would not be very good because he just can't do much when it is related to the expectations of a paid porn scene. You know what would make a decent reality show. Ron Jeremy getting into shape in his mid 60's and topping it off with filming his "final porn scene" after he dropped 50 pounds or something like that. I just don't think there is a market for a Ron Jeremy scene anymore; so yeah, just not going to be any money in it for the producer especially if the girl wants more money! He had his run as a performer and it was 10 years longer than it probably should have been; retirement is a good thing. I don't really look at it that way. I probably haven't seen anything with Ron have sex since something made in the mid 90's. It is not something I seek out. In the 70s and early 80s Ron was reasonably attractive. Chuck Vincent's Fascination is the best film with him as a lead. He had a talent for comedy, later on he got broader as the 'films' got dumber. Unfortunately he was a terrible director.
1970's Ron when he was lean and muscular looked pretty good. Most people don't even realized what he looked like before the mid 1980's when he started to not take the best care of his body.
I don't think I would ever have described Ron as lean, but I agree that he looked pretty good before his chest fell down into his gut.
