I was amazed at the video store the other day, as to how many MILF titles I found. I realize we all have certain theme movies that we like such as facial, swallowing, cream pie etc., but I could never really get into the whole MILF thing. I don't think its that hard to figure out why. Sex with older women has always appealed to most guys. Certainly since the days of films like The Graduate. I guess its also a cultural thing. People live longer these days, and also look better as they age compared to say, 50 or 100 years ago. People have a lot more freedom to express themsleves compared to many years ago, it seems you see a lot more older women in the public eye than you used to. Cosmetic surgery helps as well I guess. Personally I think the whole MILF genre in't fulfilling its full potential, I think its improving, but there are still too many MILF movies that feature guys who are too old. A 40 year old guy having sex with a 40 year old woman is just two people (in their 40's) having sex. You have to have younger guys for it to be a true MILF movie IMO.
I've been a MILF fan since about 15 years before the phrase came into popular existence -- the first time I saw Cheri Taylor in a film in the late '80s or early '90s (when I was 16 or 17). My biggest problem with the current MILF offerings is the absurdity of some of the castings. IMO, a woman should be a mother and/or at least 35 or 40-plus to be cast in a MILF film. Seeing all these "MILF" scenes featuring Priya Rai and Carmella Bing and other (apparently childless) women in their mid to late 20s seems goofy. (I know women are miscast all the time in porn, but the MILF thing seems to be the worst right now.)
I guess I've reached the age where this is no longer true. Sure, in our teens many guys may get turned on by a teacher who looks hot, or maybe a friends mother, but now if I could fuck an attractive woman in her 20's, or one in her 40's, I would defintely choose the one in her 20's.
I think there's several factors: -The first generation of people who grew up with porn are now middle age (like me at 45) and want to see some good-looking women closer to our age fucking. People my age are the first generation to have grown up in a USA where smut is very accessible relative to our fathers and grandfathers. -Watching young girls fuck is great and fantasizing about younger girls is great, but if you're a middle-aged perv you're much more likely to get a MILF to fuck you, so a MILF is...more accessible, shall we say. -Better looking MILFs being willing to fuck on camera -Porno girls not burning themselves out with drugs, drink, etc. at the same rate as in previous generations and they are sticking around in the industry longer to build a devoted fan base -More studios, cheaper methods of production (such as video)=more opportunities -More customers driving the market, same with IR. -Producers willing to give it a chance rather than always looking for the next perfect 19 year old that will be a superstar. -Older starlets making good $ on dance tours prove the customer base is there -More women watching porn and wanting to see someone closer to their age and not perfect rather than the threatening young hardbody.
Milf is a young man's (age 16 to 24) fantasy. Almost always, young horny guys are lusting after young hot girls. But there is usually an exceptional woman, age 36 to 44, who looks sexy for her age, that young guys want to fuck. It's all about lust. It's not Mother I'd like to Date. It's not Mother I'd like to Love. It's Mother I'd Like to Fuck. However, I think Milf is just another label to sell porn. I don't go for the young 28 year old girls with huge silicon boobs and high heel stiletto shoes being cast as Milfs. Somebody's gotta save this genre.
I will tell ya exactly why I like it, the older women know what they are doing. There are certain Genres of porn I do not get. Some I can understand there are market for, others I am very suprised there are. MILF I can understand, just about. I am suprised by the number of all black films & interacial flicks. I am very biggoted when it comes to porn, so I strictly avoid these, particularly if the women are black. Yeah, it's a shame that every company is cashing in on this regardless of authenticity. I've seen milf titles with Leah Luv!!!!! Yes some cheap uninspired shlock thought they could fool the unknowing by putting Miss pigtails and braces herself in a milf movie. How can you appear in teen AND milf movies? I think the basic premise is mature women, regardless of kids. We don't know if these chicks have kids or not. It's all a part of the illusion. There's always been a mature section in bigger stores, but now we have a snappy little name for it. Milf movies are good if they are done right. The thing that kind of gets me is that it's supposed to be about experience and half of these chicks suck cock like they're afraid of it. There's exceptions like Chelsie Zinn ( not the best looking, but man! Can she smoke a cock!) But they are a minority.
There are so many beautiful women who are over 30. Personally I think it's crazy how they're categorised like this, how they're turned into a fetish, as if women are already past it before they're half way through their lives. It is interesting that those MILF DVDs are so popular, especially when fresh new 18 year olds seem so sought after in the industry...
IMHO it's about being with a woman who's mature and experienced. I've known women who were snooty and bitchy all the time but really mellowed out once they had children. It can make a person much more patient and compassionate. Movies with "older" women have been around for years and wasn't a big seller at all. It was really until younger/better looking women started showing up in those movies. With me it has nothing to do with age but rather the women who appear in MILF movies. Many of the MILFs appearing in MILF movies tend to be big breasted curvier women, which I'm a fan of. Also, it's the place to see lost of the girls I like from a few years ago who don't really show up in most other types of movies these days because of the influx of new/younger girls. I like seeing Kristal Summers, Vicky Vette, Rayveness, etc...and pretty much the only place to see them is in MILF movies. So with me it's really about the women appearing in those movies and I could care less about the "theme/genre". If it were called something else and had the same type of women in them I'd be just as big a fan.
"Mature" genre has been around for a while(since early 90's?), but only a few studios were involved. Filmco/Totally Tastless had numerous series: Older and Anal, Aged to Perfection, Golden Oldies, Dirty Kinky Mature Women, Dirty 30's, Nifty 50's, Fabulous 40's, and more. They featured some hot women such as Zena Dean(cool and elegant), Debette(trashy and nasty), Moira Callen(Brit accent, big clit), Kitana Steele(musclebabe), Jamie Monroe (horny bigbutt blonde), and many more. Downside is uneven/mediocre production values and bad/overused/expired male talent. Would be nice to have a time machine to bring back some of those women to work with better studios and better partners. Agree w/Draxxx in that the MILF genre happens to show the things I like. Curvy women, especially thicker body type, in particular fuller legs and thighs. Also I like the "dressed to tease" aspect of the MILF movies. Dresses, skirts w/blouses, nylons, camisoles, garterbelts, sexy (non-stripper) heels. The typical non-MILF scenes open with bikinis, or micro-shorts, or naked, or naked within 60sec. Also I like the experience factor. The mature woman is not overwhelmed; she is a worthy and willing match for the her male partner. Younger girls seem to struggle (maybe it's an act) to keep up and don't know how to talk sexy/dirty/teasingly...they only know how to repeat crude words.
I feel the MILF genre has entered a new era where they look more glamourous and are not being as fake as some of the younger girls. I also think the experience factor is a turn on where they're not phased by DP's, anal and the like. Back in the day the MILFs weren't all that sexy as they are now. As a MILF fan, I don't agree that MILF dvd's are all that plentiful, as compared to all other genres. Sure, all the major studios have some MILF series or titles, but some are just jumping on the latest trend bandwagon. This is evidenced by the clueless ones that use "underage" girls in MILF titles. They are just following the latest marketing fad and any girl too old to be a "teen" is automatically MILF-eligible. Will you argue that BigButt girls are cheaper than RegularButt girls, hence the surge of BigButt titles??

It's because us "more mature" ladies know exactly what we are doing, we're at our biological sexual peak, we're hot as hell and we don't whine. The only problem I have with it all, is when they shoot some 28 year old and call her a MILF!
28 is nothing, I have seen girls doing teen and MILF movies at the same time. They should strangle the guy who came up with the MILF term because it doesn't make sense at all. I think it came from American Pie or something.
Its all a matter of taste, simple as that really. I like the good-looking hot, young, perfomers as much as anyone, but I also want some diversity. I like a few wrinkles here and there, and am not frightened by a little cellulite.
