Why don't more American porn companies go to Asia to film anal porn? There was just a post on this board pointing out that a lot of the best anal starlets are from Eastern Europe. Indeed many of the major studios seem to film the majority of their anal porn in Eastern Europe. I assume this is because A) Everything is cheaper over there, B) There is a larger supply of beautiful "fresh" women willing to work, and C) (this one is just a guess) there might be a more relaxed attitude toward anal sex in former soviet countries? At any rate, Eastern Europe is now in the EU and wages are rising fast. Also, the Eastern European stars aren't quite as fresh as they once were. So why don't American studios go to East Asia to film anal and other sorts of more extreme porn? There is a huge supply of beautiful young women and the costs are far below even those in Eastern Europe. It is certainly true that some Asian countries are a little dangerous, and the biggest ones (such as China, India, and Japan) have reputations for being pretty conservative. Regardless of whether these steriotypes are true or not (the Japanese like sex game shows, bukkake, and scat porn, now does this sound conservative to you?), there are a bunch of Southeast Asian countries (The Phillipines, Indonesia, Cambodia, and most especially Thailand pop to mind) have flourishing sexual cultures and entire tourist industries based on sex. Thus, there is a whole infrastructure for this work. In addition, Thailand is known for its anal sex (where did Thai anal beads come from?), and English is widely spoken in the Phillipines. So I ask again, why isn't there more hardcore anal porn being filmed in Asia? Is it a fear of aids? Well isn't there the same fear in Eastern Europe? And aids testa are available everywhere in the world. Is it a problem with proving age? (small rural village villages among the rice paddies don't keep very good birth date records?). There must be a way to find these records or get around this. (If not, then god bless the communists for their obsessive fact-preserving secret police states). At any rate, I am just very perplexed by the absence of this sort of porn. I would think there would be a massive market for anal and ass to mouth porn with cute Thai 18 year olds. Renton is pretty dead on. Filming adult content in many Asian countries is ILLEGAL, and they do go after the companies who do it. And I don't mean a slap on the wrist. I'm talking jail time. Many companies also dislike the lack of proper identification for the girls. Few girls have two forms of identification, better less one. Since the filming may be illegal, there are no talent agencies, like in Europe, for production companies to cast the girls and have assurances of the girls' sexual practices. I won't go in depth on the AIDS scare, but that is definately a huge issue. Generally, whatever scene would be shot would not include condoms. Even though the test may be negative, you do not know if this girl regularly uses condoms with their customers or in their regular sex lives. The chances are great that the girl would have had sex with multiple partners within the last 30 days. And i'm not talking with their husbands. Also, the girls are not exposed to porn whatsoever. They do not know or understand the requirements of it. Since purchasing porn in many asian countries is illegal, they don't have the fantasy of being a "Porn Star." Even though these countries might have many "working girls," these girls are not exhibitionists. They primarily work one-on-one and normally have sex with the lights off. These countries are very conservative in their ideas of sex. Some may say it's a little backwards, but it is what it is. Girls have a very strong view of family, and any fear of the family finding out what they're doing would steer many girls away. Even if they regularly have sex for less money, they would more than likely decline. Then call the cops on you ** Fuck ** Of course, this doesn't apply to all asian countries, but are some reasons adult film companies don't take asia by storm.
