Probably because they are mostly different audiences. I have a lot of black friends and it isn't their instinct to try and downgrade others racially and white men are more perverse and demented. Racism definitely isn't innate, it's a learned behavior. Like Mandela said, people aren't just born hating someone, they learn it. Saying every white person is a racist is pretty much the same as using any negative stereotypes that exist about black men, asian men, white men and saying all people of these races are born with these stereotypes and they exist in all of them. We've come far since those times (obviously not far enough, still lots of things in the world) but hopefully most people judge someone by who they are rather than who they are supposed to be or what they are "innate" with in terms of all these stereotypes.
I don't want to get too deep into this discussion, but the guy who says it is "taught" is right. Evidence? Children. They don't give a shit about skin color. All that needs to be said really.
