Early on in our relationship my wife was open-minded toward porn. We bought a relatively female friendly film on DVD (Provocateur, as recommended by the effeminate male clerk at the Hustler store). It had all the basics, B/G, G/G, BBB/G, B/GG.
We watched some early on, and after a while she admitted she just wasn't that into it. I respected that porn wasn't her cup of tea, and she respected that I did enjoy it from time-to-time. Every once in a great while she might suggest putting our DVD on. She typically seemed drawn to the G/G scene.
Earlier this week she came home from work and admitted that she had watched some porn while I was at work. It was G/G and gave her a small orgasm without any touching. I know this seems like a long way to go to make a lame brag. This really isn't sitting well with me. If it were any other type of porn, I'd be ecstatic. I may not have the size or the abs of male porn performers, but we're operating on the same plane. Another female is an experience completely different.
Am I freaking out over nothing? How should I handle this? She offered to show me the video she was watching. If I ask her to show me, is that being supportive, or is it meddling? Has anyone encountered a situation like this?

Yes. Sex fantasies and porn are harmless ways to allow yourself to go places and do things you wouldn't necessarily do in real life. If you're afraid that this is opening the tap to her eventually dumping you and becoming a full-time lesbian--I think the odds are against it. I believe it's much more likely that this is a safe way to vent her fantasies in a controlled environment with all of the advantages and none of the risks.

Yeah I think freaking out is a bit too much. She MIGHT be bisexual, so what?

No reason to freak out. Most girls wont come out and say up front if they are into watching porn.
Her admitting to you that she likes GG might be the first step to her opening up and watching and trying other stuff with you down the line.
If you create too much fuss about it now, she might clam up and not want to share what other stuff turns her on.
Trust me, most girls have a whole wide range of stuff we can find erotic, just havent shared yet.
Best of luck:)

I have my mostly mainstream tastes, but I would not be happy about my spouse disapproving over the kind of porn I watched. I would like to be able to able to watch harmless, non-controversial, clean sex no matter if its straight, gay, bi, trans, group, solo etc. I'm quite sure about my sexuality and if my hypothetical spouse knew that (and she should) she would not judge me from experimenting with watching something else once in a while.
So yes, I see no reason to freak out. Go read up on some open minded couples advice columns, or some commentary from sex therapists, or feminists that are pro-porn, and you'll get some perspectives and food for thought. This sounds like its related to insecurities, its a typical reaction from fear of losing control and its very, very common and normal.

And why exactly would your wife being turned on by lesbian porn make you uncomfortable, nervous, or insecure? You like to see girls banged hard, DP'd, etc I would presume since you are here. Why is this a big deal?

Lots of good advice from everyone who replied. Thank you! Carmen's response in particular really hits the bullet points on what to do.
Earlier this week we were fooling around. While I was fingering her, she grabbed her phone and started watching G/G material. (Don't worry, she and I will have the "tube site" discussion soon if this becomes routine). She had a crying orgasm. Those are the big ones that happen maybe once a month or so.
I did the hardest thing in the world for me to do. I acted like it was nothing and didn't mention it before, during or after. I think JohnW was seeing right through me when he used the word "control".
Deep breaths. One day at a time. I should be happy we've found something to get a spark going.

Just realized that I somehow misspelled the word "conundrum" in the in the Topic. Is there a way to edit that? I feel like an idiot. English is my first and only language. Doh!
