WTF? My only conclusion is that Microsoft reached in and pulled them from the list of pending available updates on each of the computers. But, why? Every single pending update on three computers has totally disappeared. (I checked to see if MS forcibly installed them without my permission, and, fortunately, they did not.) One of the computers was in the process of being built (i.e. finishing the updates process), and had over 50 updates I was still researching before installing them. All gone. I don't like this one bit. My inner MS radar keeps nagging at me that MS has something planned for us, as the "free update to Windows 10" period draws to a close, and that I'm not going to like it. At all. Maybe its something as simple as MS freeing-up bandwidth on their servers, as they make that one final push to "upgrade" the masses to the Windows 10 Collective (resistance is futile)? Anyone else experiencing anything like this? [Link] |
