I'm talking about things like lists of recent documents, temporary internet files, copies of documents that have been viewed, copies of images and movies viewed on the internet, lists of DVDs viewed, obsolete registry entries, log files, Windows media player cookies and so on. I have heard that there are many tools for doing this. Can anyone recommend any please? I have Firefox configured to clean up after itself already, so it's mainly the Microsoft stuff that concerns me. [Link] |

CCleaner will allow you to choose cookies you want to keep (protect)... Go to "Options" > "Cookies" Once you take the time to select the cookies you want to keep, then check "Cookies." CCleaner will then delete all cookies, other than those you protected, every time you run it. [Link] |
