Skyscrapper you said it all perfectly and to the point. I live in Canada. Toronto to be exact and we are considered the most multicultural city in North America. I think it is awesome that all these different cultures date interracially. I am one who does as well. I love the black girls. I think that it's a stretch to say that blacks are blameless in those sterotypes. You can' say this is all your fault, because it isn't. However there is a shift in the way blacks were portrayed in the media of say the early 80s and prior and the late eighties to the early 2000's (it obviously continues but not to the same degree it once did. Maybe it's a product of living around Southern California and breifly in in New York. Blacks that don't act "thuggish" are often ostracized from their own. Uncle Tom and Oreo aren't uncommon. While obviously Carlton of Fresh PRince, Braxton of Jamie Foxx and Tom of Boondocks are charicatures there basic plight is common enough that it's rare to see a narrative that doesn't include the black guy who isn't black enough and that isn't entirely white America's fault. Just like Tupac and Biggie making millions upon millions of dollars but "keepin it real" probably wasn't an FBI plot to keep blacks down. On a side note of course black girls aren't paid bigger for IR, just like when you look at their profiles they don' tmention if they do IR or not because it's simply expected. In one of those few instances where I a genuinely offended in porn it really isn't IR until a black (or to be fair Indian/Middle Eastern) person is involved. Asians, Latinas and Whites for the purposes of porn are usually considered one race. At least it seems to me that most of those I Love Asians or Big Butt Latina's fail to get labeled as IR.

So yes, I'm blaming blacks in porn for racist perceptions. And I'm withdrawing my inclusion of Sean Michaels from the category of "Thug". Apologies to Sean.
In general? And you only name two examples? And as has already been said Shane Diesel is an idiot who stands on his own and speaks for no one else. But perhaps going by your logic we could use Max Hardcore and Jack Venice as examples to point to and say that they're perpetuating stereotypes of white guys in the industry as people who engage in sexual assault and are degenerates.

First off, I didn't know there were white guy stereotypes about sexual assault in Porn. Douchebaggery galore, but sexual assault stereotypes? And has Max Hardcore been convicted of sexual assault? I don't think so. The girls knew what his films were and signed releases. The topic at hand is I/R porn and the taboo stigma that goes with it. Nobody said Shane Diesel speaks for anyone. But his whole "Nigga" and "Nigga persona" helps feed stereotypes about all the other black thuggish guys in porn; except of course Sean Michaels, because in most of his scenes he's wearing a jacket and tie along with some glasses as he is distancing himself from the thugs of porn.
