My icon? Was I gone? Well, it wouldn't be the first time, hey. Re: Zazel, I admit after reading DeathIncarnate's review, who made some good points as well, I decided to rent it first, then buy it if I liked it. Besides, I keep forgetting that my player is a Toshiba SD2200, and I've got a stack of DVD's it won't play. They will in my Creative Labs dvd rom drive, but it's a pain running that S-video cable to my TV. Metro though, I believe is the only studio I've never had a problem with. Anyway, it seemed whenever I checked, it wasn't available - BUT, I just noticed the price dropped to $13.95, I'm ordering it today, should have in a couple days.

Heck, Astro, you & HoustonDon alone would make that a cakewalk!

Astro, you've been kicking it into overdrive lately so we may make it but it'll be close. I want to thank all the newer reviewers for participating. In the last couple of months, a bunch of them have provided some great reading material.

Smartblonde, my fingers are still numb from all the finished reviews I sent in yesterday so nothing today but this weekend looks to be promising-bad weather and no plans make for good reviewing.

In any case, it looks like we'll be close to my prediction even though a few reviewers have cut back of late. Time to go to work (and pay for some dvd's)...

PS: Steph and Drew are leaving 3/5/01 now-that gives us some more time. whi-pish! back to work astro!

Good job to all reviewers and I wish you luck in reaching 1000 and on the next 1000. These reviews on this site have been very helpful to me in purchasing dvds and I look forward to using more of those reviews in the future so keep up the good work.

Gee, it's fun to look back at the "good old days" of just a few months ago... We're over 1400 reviews now, have new reviewers jumping in to contribute all the time, and the reviews themselves are much more comprehensive than they used to be.

Any bets on the 1500 mark?

PS: Reviewing, for me, has been fun-even when some companies make it a challenge by not listing their cast, getting their cast wrong, etc. I like the fact that we all feel comfortable asking each other questions when we're stuck (like Astro and I do from time to time). The cooperation level here is very encouraging and I hope it stays that way.
