If I was gonna buy a new console right now, I'd go with the Xbox 360. I think the original Xbox got a lot of flack that it didn't really deserve just because it was a Microsoft product. I never had issues with my Xbox. Of course, I'd have probably been just as happy with a PS2. I'm not that picky when it comes to a console, really. But I'm a brand loyalty kind of guy. If I'm satisfied with a product, I'll buy from the same line again and again until I'm disappointed or completely screwed over.
I fell asleep and left my Xbox on for many hours many times. Hell I stayed over at a friend's house for 3 days and forgot to turn it off. If I didn't kill mine, I imagine there will be a lot of original Xboxes floating around for many years.

I just decided to buy the PS3! It seems Sony has pull out all the stops to insure that Blue Ray will not end up like the Beta Max did; and face the potential of the sword self inflicted unto oneself!
But Toshiba is feeling the Sony pressure and has lowered the price of the HD DVD player to only $200.
Still going with PS3 anyways!

Apparently Microsoft is planning some "important" announcement about the 360 at CES. Could this be the rumoured Xbox 360 with a built-in HD DVD player?

Now that the 20 gig Xbox 360's are 299.99, I might just pick up one. Gears of War 2 does look sweet!

I'll go for the Xbox, Earlier this year I bought a 360, it have much better games.
For example Fable, Forza, HALO, Ninja Gaiden, DOA etc...
I'm against Playstation becuse they tryed to keep the 'Grand Theft Auto' games for them self, but luckely GTA4 have been released to 360.O_o
