I know I could ask this of XrentDVD directly, but I can't get on their site just now, so I'll ask here first. Has anyone here opted for the Rent 2 Own or Keep 2 Own option that Xrent offers?

I'm wondering if when you do that, do they ship the box with the cover art, or if you just keep the disc and your stuck without a proper box and cover art? Also, in the case of two disc sets, like say My Plaything-Jenna Jameson, if you Keep 2 Own it, will they send you the second disc?

I'll ask them directly when I have a chance, but I thought I might get a good answer here too. Thanks in advance!

I've bought many used titles through the Rent2Own program. They send the boxes (charge $1 per)in your next order if you request them. I personally never opt to get the boxes (I choose to store them in sleeves), but I don't see why they wouldn't include the artwork with the title(s) you rent.

I really don't know how they deal with 2 disc sets. Sorry to not be of help there.

I'll write them. I'm thinking about Keep 2 Owning the Ass Collector from EA... and I don't know if they'll send me the second disc. And I like having the box... makes me feel like I REALLY own it. Heh.

Be warned all, XRent will no longer provide the covers for Keep2Own titles. I just found out after I selected Keep and then got told no on the covers. They were nice enough to tell me that they would do this for me, but that this was absolutely "the last time!"

So, be careful about Keep2Own.

When I did this for Ass Collector, I did not do Keep2Own as they won't provide the second disc, the artwork or a case--you just keep the one you have. However, they will provide a new unopened package (all discs, cover art, and all) if you just send the rental back as scheduled and go with the Rent2Own option. The price is the same, it's just that you actually have to send the rental disc back and wait a bit for the one you bought to arrive.

Oh and if you combine it with your next rental, they don't charge extra shipping.
