XRent handles redemptions a bit differently than other stores. Due to restrictive California laws regarding gift certificates XRent's Kickback redemptions are implemented as store credit instead of in the form of a gift certificate.
When you redeem your Kickbacks with XRent in order to receive your credit you will need to have previously set up and account with them or will be required to create one. They then apply the Kickback redemption as a store credit directly to your account. This store credit is automatically applied to any and all purchases until it is depleted.
The redemption process will be significantly faster if the email address associated with your Kickback profile matches the email address in your customer profile at the XRentDVD site.
