VideoSan  All-Star Member 168 Posts 6/03 |  Posted - Aug 9 2003 : 7:37PMI noticed on the xrentdvd.com site that they are "liquidating" all Extreme titles (i.e., selling them at Extreme-ly low prices to get them out of their inventory). I haven't yet inquired as to why, although based on everything I'm reading here at ADT, I suspect it's due to the poor quality of the Extreme DVDs. It has only been within a month or so that a large number of Extreme titles showed up at xrentdvd. I never rented any of them since I'd seen almost all of the titles back when they were released on VHS and wasn't interested in seeing them again. I wonder if the recent indictment discussed in other threads may have some connection, although I somewhat doubt it. Topic Moved by - MLyons on Aug 10 2003 [Link] |
