It was a really hot scene with Amber Rayne and Haley Paige, and just as a little aside, I originally casted Amber and asked her who her ideal partner would be (as I do in most of my scenes) and she instantly and vigorously pleaded to work with Haley. Anyway, the scene involved a drildo, which is an electric drill with a 10inch dildo attachment that spins like a son-of-a-bitch and sends the girls into orbit. Well, my issue is what people's attitude here is toward period blood? I mean, the girl was screaming like she was getting gangbanged by the roman army, and it was all real stuff, but when the drill came out, there was a bit of juice on it. The girl was just totally unphased as she was drunk on orgasms and just screamed to put it back in. Now as I have it that part is cut out, as well as some squirt/piss. I am thinking of offering bts downloads of some of the edited footage, but I really am at a crossroads on the whole thing, as this is really my first instance of this type of thing. The scene still ended up great, and since our shooting style and overall philosophy is to just keep shooting and let the girls do their thing and make for as natural and unedited and real a scene as possible, it still came out great with those few minutes taken out. also, the squirt/piss happened when we stopped the scene for a minute to let the girl warm up with a smaller toy but we kept the cam rolling. Ideally, you could leave the scene in or put it in the BTS. Unfortunately, I think doing either of those is a no win. If you leave it in, you'll be criticized as being another Max Hardcore sort. If you put it in the BTS, you'll be criticized as being another Max Hardcore sort and trying to hide it in the BTS. And, sadly, now that you've spilled the beans about it here (and possibly elsewhere), if you cut it out entirely, you'll be criticized for trying to hide it by not putting it in the movie at all. So, really, it's a three-pronged no win. I guess it's minor enough but you'd be surprised how worked up people can get over some really minor shit. [Link]
