Bingo!
You know every white male lacks hardness and has to jerk off to finish, even when paired with a black woman go figure!
Whereas black talents never do ,and when it happens ,very scarcely, it's because they're paired with a white woman , I mean if it's not black who would fuck her?

You must not be familiar with the fredgee rules of engagement. If he says it, it's fact. No need to back it up with logic, proof, or even popular opinion.

Go watch some Holmes scenes.... his legend is far better than the reality :) They did a lot of camera tricks to hide the fact he couldn't get 100% hard most of the time.

I agree. I'm no longer an Evil Angel fan anymore. I was only subscribed because I loved Jay Sin's lesbian movies. When he announced he's no longer producing any movies I immediately cancelled my membership.

honestly, I don't even pay that much attention to the men (if I'm watching B/G porn) to notice whether his booty hole is winking at me or not. They are mostly interchangeable to me, so I could care less what they do in other videos, in their personal life, in Thailand, in Brazil, etc. I'm only concerned with what is happening in the video in front of my face and how it gets me to my goal of jizzing in some tissue so I can go to sleep.
future of porn. right.

I don't know how porn studios make any money, what with all these free Tube sites, to***** sites, and other d******* sites.
Piracy is rife. I'm actually still surprised we still have a porn industry!

The issue that will not die lol. Like I tried to point out this is not a matter of debate. If the problem is not fixed porn as we know it will disappear. 2016 started out good but it has stalled companies went back to the same old stuff. Consumer anxiety is pretty obvious. It is hard not to notice men they may not be the focus but they are a part of it. When the guy is killing the scene it is impossible to ignore. The main problem though is content, companies not giving consumers what they want.

It depends on the year and what performers do very well with their careers. Porn isn't perfect in my opinion. For me it's the performers putting out great stuff from companies I like.

It is up for debate as it is your opinion. Your opinion is only a fact to you. To everyone else, we are free to disagree or agree with that opinion. And if we disagree, we are then free to voice dissent. That is how life works
Who cares what a person does in a scene I am not watching. As long as humans masturbate, there will be pornography. I personally, could care less who the male performer has fucked "elsewhere." I personally could care less who the female performer has fucked "elsewhere."
I, and I assume most other porn consumers, focus on what is going on in the current scene/movie and if it entertains us to the point where we masturbate and then have an orgasm. THAT, is how we determine what a good scene is -If it gets us off, not the worry about, "well, I wonder if he paid his water bill or is fucking a big black man named Kwame in his spare time."
I don't have any consumer anxiety. Performance anxiety. anxiety disorder, etc.
If a guy is killing a scene, I don't watch the scene. Personally, I don't like watching scenes with James Deen. Even before I knew he was a rapist. To my knowledge, He has never fucked a man on camera or off. But really, I don't care that much. I just don't like him. Has nothing to do with any extracuricular activities..
In conclusion, no one but you cares this much about what a male talent does in scenes you aren't watching. And when you stop watching, no one will care. porn will be fine. lube companies will be fine. tissue conglomerates will all be fine.

It is not a matter of debate. Is water wet, do people debate if fire is hot. No because it is a fact. Whether porn will survive on the current path is not a matter of debate. It is going to die. The thread title would be entirely different if it wasn't in jeopardy. This is not about what one person thinks or prefers it is about saving the industry, giving fans what they want. making porn profitable again.

2016 has sucked, Evil Angel was my go to company in the past, the past year or so hardly any DPs, lots of anals but rare or no DPS. lots of yucky bush returns, Private not a lot of stuff, Hard X/Mason too few releases, Adriana Chechik is always a treat, but too much IR and not enough DV for her so far for me this year, Tushy and "My DP" is a great great film, I see a lot of stuff I want to watch on Legal Porno, but I guess Im a dinosaur and still like to buy DVDs

Now I finally know why I do everything I can to avoid pieces in which mentioned guys do appear in the environment. They kinda fuck for the buck, not for the passion, all over the line. That SUCKS. I kinda dislike the whole idea. DVDs from the last years, that may be. Trust me, I've seen such fellas also trying to fit in/ bang in orgies, only to appear like guys on a goddamn picknique, players on some pitch, happy to score no goal, only to be there, taking caps, smiling with limp dicks and lots of tats. They treat hot young available horny women the way I treat fruit and shrimps at the fucking supermarket for god's sake. Picking some and letting off like if nothing really was on stake. God I miss Mark Ashley, even Evan Stone.

Even though Girlfriends Films camera angles on the whole suck, they do - or did - have a great stable of 'lesbian' talent.
But most of their 'new' movies this year are basically just previously unused scenes from long ago.

I don't say 2016 is the worst year of porn. It depends on what you like. Nay for me, yay for you. For me 2016 is rather a boring year.
Too much generic porn. Too much glamporn. Too many skinny "clones". Too many weak male performer.

I've always thought that 2006 was the best year in porn -- so many of my all-time favorites were either working or still having stuff released.
But I have been just amazed at the women whom I'm getting to watch have sex lately.

The girls are as hot as ever, maybe hotter. The problem is that the productions are so formulaic, every scene bound by the requirements of the series it's a part of. Granted, there's only so many ways to shoot sex, only so many storylines that can be accommodated. But there are still some ideas out there that haven't been explored, and some of the sites (Amateur Allure, GirlsDoPorn) could do SOMETHING a little different -- I mean, except for the girls, virtually nothing changes.
I've kicked around a few ideas before. I'll throw a few out.
DancingBear was one of the few sites where I was able to believe in the spontaneity and verisimilitude of what was happening. Bring it back.
How about a reverse DancingBear, where porn stars (or, hell, amateurs) are the dancers, and the customers at a strip club the beneficiaries?
How about a series devoted to girls having their fantasies fulfilled? "Ho, I'm Suzy Suckov, and this is my fantasy."
In general, more scenes involving sex in front of an audience or crowd of onlookers. Just about everything billed as "public sex" is just sex outdoors, where no one can see. I suppose there's the thrill of maybe being caught, but, as exhibitionism, it fails
Revisit some old themes that were killed off a while back: Striptease then Fuck is one that comes to mind.
With a little creativity, I think we can get out of the ever-scene-is-the-same rut we're in.

Or how about a casting series, or at least a few scenes, where, instead of the girl passively taking direction, she shows up with the attitude, "I'm good at this, I know how to fuck, and I'm going to show yo what I can do."

the industry is not structured in a way to address consumer's complaints. Every studio basically looks out for themselves so what happens to the next guy is not their problem. Then you have the big studios basically ignoring consumers and forcing their products on the market...threads like this is a good way to get their attention.

If sex has become to over analyzed to the point that people are getting angered because someone's eyes are in the wrong direction or their feet point wrong or they are not saying the right words... or ... GASP... porn doesn't listen to one individual and make it all like that one person wants.......
Well... perhaps people need to take a step back , seriously.... sex is supposed to be fun, amazing, and most of all IMPERFECT.... not so carefully stated to meticulous detail or else you can't get off......

Yeah, I really want Dancing Bear back :(
One idea I had that would allow the audience aspect is perhaps to start a series where 'members of the public' are asked to watch an otherwise normal porn shoot. Basically you'd get a porn scene, plus a behind the scenes reaction from onlookers. I can't imagine you'd be adding too much to the cost of a normal shoot but you'd get an extra added slant to it. Imagine a Blacked scene where, behind the cameras are five normal women watching the scene - they've never seen anything like this live before! Could be interesting.
We all know money is the issue at the moment, holding back companies. But a huge lack of creativity seems to be the other problem. Studios need to be thinking more creatively about how to get more from just a scene. Utilise the performers more, lets see their personalities. Behind the scenes footage. Keep the cameras rolling after the cum shot. Post-sex interviews. Heck, mid-sex interviews! If I was running a studio I'd be trying to squeeze as much varied content from a shoot as possible. At the very least you might stand out a bit from the crowd.

I think forums like this one are an easy outlet for complaints. Fewer people will naturally post to say "thank you" when they see an awesome scene than will complain when they are feeling disappointed.
Lets face it, if people see an awesome scene, they are likely to keep watching similar scenes from that site until they get off. Posting about it in a forum would likely be an after-thought. It's easy to forget to comment or say "thank you" when things are done well.
On the other hand, if people are dissatisfied, like if they notice that a favorite site stops producing scenes to their liking, they are more likely to hold on to that issue. Posting about it on a forum is unlikely to change it, but that is all that people can often do.
I've been guilty of it too. I know that posting about the lack of new sites featuring models peeing in really artistic photos is not going to lead anyone to go out and start a new site, but sometimes everyone needs to vent including me.
I think it's important to just be aware that tons of industry people come to this forum too, and they look to it for feedback. If I were to say that 2016 is a bad year for porn, it is not because of the people hanging in there and still producing, and certainly not because of the new producers out there bucking the trend. My biggest complaint is that so many people have left the game, and of course, those people are the least likely to read this forum. They have closed up shop and are on to other things.

So, for the people still out there doing good work, keep it up!

Exactly. For instance some companies are convinced consumers don't like tattooed girls and therefore they won't shoot them. Which hurts me in particular because I have a half sleeve on one of my arms, so I lose work because of it.
HOWEVER clearly consumers do want to see something different than the "normal" porn. I think people have gotten bored of whats out there and want to see girls that aren't "cookie cutter" (not that there's anything wrong with looking that way).
Tattoos are becoming more mainstream now and tastes are changing- it would drastically widen the pool of talent to shoot if all companies shot tattooed girls, no matter how many tattoos she had.
And I personally believe that then there wouldn't be so many complaints :)

In a lot of ways porn is better and in some ways it is a bit worse. One big problem for me is that almost all of the girls that I really like quit within a year and are all one and dones. Does anybody else here have this problem? Either that or a lot of my favorite girls have trouble finding work. I guess the kind of girls I like just dont fit in with the industry. I could be wrong, but it seems like it is harder to become a star in the industry today than it was in the 90s. The only active stars that I like enough to go through the trouble of collecting their scenes that seem to be having a good career are Eva Lovia and Chloe Amour (and even she didnt really start getting her due props until this past year), and possibly Jezabel Vessir ( but her career is no where near as good as it should be). The rest are either retired, were one and dones, or they are struggling up and comers that dont seem to be gaining enough steam for various reasons, or they eventually went through a "porn make over".
Now in fairness there are a lot of other girls that I objectively admire like Dani Daniels, Nina North, Romi Rain, and Alexis Adams.

Some of the complaints, that a performer doesn't show their feet enough or that they take their high heels off too soon or are wearing lingere or don't get naked or take their sexy outfit off too soon are obviously contradictory and incredibly nit picky.
But those claiming there is all this diversity in porn aren't really convincing, I've noticed a big drop off in quality scenes with curvy women, latinas, asian and black women. There have been some promising releases though like Mason's recent Black Anal Asses so hopefully it will turn around.

I agree. The amount of diversity in the industry is shrinking.
I'd rather see a tatted black/latina/ethic girl than another blonde white chick any day of the week.
Don't get me wrong, blonde white girls are beautiful but consumers are bored of seeing the same thing year after year.
The world is diverse so why can't porn be the same way?

The high turnover rate is the most irritating trend in porn now. It seems that would be a top issue for the industry but it continues. Also wm/bf is boring but it is the only time Black women work that is probably why they leave so quickly. Hopefully Marie Washington, Eva Quinn, Britney White some others will do Black on Black before they leave. The only answer to these problems is consumers re-structuring the industry or build a new one.

there is certainly less diversity in porn. Seems like in the star crossed section 9 of every 10 girls are white and/or young and skinny.also seems like half the first page or more is people I have never heard of.

Well I can't help being white and thin, but granted I don't look like the average white porn girl lol
And I certainly can't argue that there's diversity when most of the AVN female performer of the year awards have gone to white chicks

This happens because work quickly dies off for us new girls.
People recruit us into the industry by feeding us misinformation and not telling us the whole truth.
"Oh you'll make $20,000 your first month"
"Oh we'll pay all your travel expenses" etc. etc.
Then when we're two months in BAM!, we suddenly stop getting shoots and most girls are left in the lurch about what to do because no one ever told them how to make extra money aside from shooting.
