I've also given out 84 4 1/2 star reviews. So, yes, most of mine are 3 1/2-4 stars but that doesn't tell the whole story. No matter what rating I give someone, I have heard from stars and directors about why I only gave 4 stars or why did I only give 4 1/2? Why did I say this about a scene or why did I criticize that? I try to be honest in my reviews. I know some reviewers who never step on any toes and never criticize anything. I read a review about a year ago where the special features got 4 stars whereas in the write-up, the reviewer said all they offered was photo galleries. For that same movie, in which I gave the extras 2 stars for the same reason, the company contacted me and asked why I gave only 2 stars and what can they do to increase the rating. [Link]
