yea thats true there are literally hundreds of reasons but alot of them are similar. I was reading about jessie rogers the other day and one of the reasons she quit was because of the condom/STD issue she has with the industry. I know that its just one particular example but she has gained other supporters who were ex- pornstars themselves. Together they are going through various legislation processes to pass their bill. but the point im trying to make is that there are issues in the industry and the whole STD/condom issue is just of them. other stars have complained about the coercion some studios use to get their stars to do more. Manuel ferrara has complained that there is too much gonzo and that the market is over-saturated with it. now if alina li quit because of a personal issue then w.e. i said doesn't apply to her. but if she quit because of some industry issue i would be curious to know what it is.

This just in. I just got off the phone with Alina. She left because she received a Fulbrite Scholarship to go to southern Argentina to help research the mating habits of Penguins.
A few hours ago, she posted on her twitter account that she was selling off her "work wardrobe". Doesn't seem as if she is planning a return. She also deleted her agency affiliation and booking information. Other girls represented by the same agency who are on hiatus continue to have their pictures posted with an unavailable until such and such a date underneath. Her photo is simply gone. It sure was fun while it lasted. Looking forward to the release of her scene with Lex Steele and Riley Reid. Should be good. To me its just so hard to really know whether a girl is happy performing or not. Sometimes with the great ones you can just tell that they love every minute of it while with other girls its obvious they're not totally into it. But some are just such good actors it is truly hard to tell.

Let it go already. Most people doing porn do it under the radar as best as they can given that its sex on camera. They slide in quickly, do some releases, and then just as quickly they sneak back out. While some long time performers say good bye, via a posting or blog, the overwhelming majority don't do a "Farewell tour" type of thing, They just say to themselves, "Self, I'm done" and go on with whatever they do. Here's one train of thought that could have spurred her decision, "Obsessive fans who just don't know when to let go and feel they deserve answers for her every waking move!"

Alina is a very pretty girl who was fun to watch. I wish her well with whatever she chooses to do next. If she tackles it like she did porn, she'll do fine. As for why she quit, maybe she just woke up one morning and knew she was done with porn. It wouldn't be the first time that's happened. Or maybe there was a precipitating event. Either way she's keeping it quiet. But she left us with a lot of great scenes.

I would assume that JJV still has the legal rights to release those scenes of Alina even though she is no longer an active performer. Same goes for any other studio/website that's sitting on previously shot scenes of Alina.

^ I've read mainly good things about her agent Spiegler and that he's considered the best in the business. So why didn't he tell the directors "no, sorry, we draw the line at eating dog food." (faked or not). I realize that might not be the reason she quit but I just think it's bullshit, over the line, and unneccesary.

I TRULY loved the business and all of the people I have met. I left the business for many many reasons. I started to get burned out, stressed out, and couldn't take breaks which made me starting to dislike the business. I thought it might be one of the phrase I was having but I was wrong, I was working too much for a very long period of time. Which made me wanting to have a normal life, such as going to college, wait tables, whatever to get me through life, as long as I'll have a normal life routine without anyone telling me what to do in my life or what choice I should be making. The kink scene really pushed me out of the line and I told myself "that's it, what's the point of it? I am sick of this." I do not blame the people at kink, they were doing their job. It was me that stopped enjoying it and loving it. I don't believe I will make an return back to the business because I can't look at it the same as I did when I first started it. I want to do something I will truly enjoy and love and it is not this anymore. Money was good, yes. But it did not make me happy. Thank you guys for your time, and for supporting me, even since day 1. I truly truly appreciate it. Could people be careful about blaming Spiegler. The phrase "without anyone telling me what to do in my life or what choice I should be making" could mean any number of things. It could mean Spiegler pushed her to do more scenes or it could mean that Spiegler actually told her to slow down and she didn't listen and burned out or it could mean that Spiegler told her to tone back on the partying etc. etc. etc. Let's not jump to conclusions please.
