I have a question: why are some female talent signing interracial "exclusives" with some companies? since they are free to do all other "acts" with other companies why would they limit their IR scenes with just one company?
Are you sure? And what happened to him? Where is he at now? Doesn't seem like he shoots as much for BangBros. But I hardly check that site anymore due to lack of IR.

Like I said he moved on to BangBros. How do I know he is the same person? I did a comparison between the HushHush and the BangBros shoots. Same voice, same personality, same inflection and speech pattern in his voice when excited.
^ I just had an exchange with Richard Mann talking about HushHush. Apparently they had at least 3 different camera guys, maybe 4, who shot for Hush. The one Mann said was coolest was Jonalungus. I checked IAFD and didn't see any further credits for Jonalungus aka Jonas, after the HushHush stuff. But maybe "Shooter" was one of the other guys. Or maybe Jonalungus was an alias for him IDK. I want to say that there was similarity between one of the HushHush shooters and Bangbro's "Shooter" guy, and I am inclined to believe as you do that both companies could have at some point used the same guy. Anyway they both seem to be gone from the industry, which is a shame. I wonder if the move was deliberately toward less talkative camera guys? OR it could be they are still shooting and just using new names and talking less. That's very possible.

So by now it's been awhile since BLACKED came on the scene and got fans and the porn biz all worked up about IR more than they were before. So now, after the dust has settled a little and time has passed what is your opinion of the state of IR in porn these days? Is it continuing to grow? Are there more IR scenes in typical non-IR movies? Are there more IR scenes being produced on sites that aren't exclusively IR sites? Has the all IR sites and movies putting out more content than they were before? Has the IR and "First IR" craze died down?
^ And will continue to be a thing for as long as first b/g and first anal are, since they're basically based on the same concepts. As long as there's people who prefer IR porn to non-IR, there will be increased interested in first IR scenes.
I think IR popularity is continuing to ascend overall, though I doubt we will see such a spike as we saw with Blacked. Now that there's been more brands popping up, things have leveled a bit. But the #1 factor limiting rates of production for IR higher than where they are at now is simply limited supply of performers. The demand certainly seems to be there. Sites like TeensLoveBlackCocks, BlackIsBetter and DarkX and multi-genre brands like ArchAngel which is about half-and-half IR and vanilla/lesbian, continue to grow in popularity. If there was just 1 of those out there, it would probably be able to ramp up production and have a spike comparable to Blacked. But because there are in fact so many new sites/brands competing in IR, it limits the amount they can each produce, simply because the male talent can be booked only so many scenes in a week. Also consider how most companies now have at least one go-to black male talent to rely on for consistent IR production, many apparently have contracted. So we just need more available black male talent to meet demand. Dredd looks to be getting a lot of work for HushHush (now InterracialPass). Lex is mostly with EvilAngel, but I think his contract is not exclusive, as he still shows up in scenes for other companies. I believe he just has a priority deal with Evil Angel, needing to produce/direct X amount of movies per year for Evil. Flash Brown I think renewed with Blacked? I sorta hope he goes free agent. As supportive as I am for Blacked and their success, on the other hand, considering they are the #1 name in IR right now, I don't exactly favor them monopolizing talent. But that's their prerogative, and I imagine they have thousands if not tens of thousands of subscribers who would be all too happy to see them monopolize further. They definitely have earned high marks for creativity and quality. I believe Prince has a deal with Jules Jordan, similar to Lex's with Evil Angel. Prince will continue appearing in other companies flicks, but I think he has a deal to make X amount of flicks for Jordan per year, although it's definitely not as many as Lex has to make with Evil. Also wouldn't be surprised if Jules made a similar deal with Mandingo, but Mandingo never seemed as interested in directing as either Lex or Prince. But as you can see, with all these priorities and all this competing interest in IR, it's probably increasingly challenging to cast an IR flick with varied talent, on a consistent basis. Need more brothas to step up. If you want to see more IR, help these companies scout for talent. What we tend to do is spend about 90% of our time suggesting females, obviously our favorite topic because at any given moment there are several that could be the apple of our eye for each of us. Harley Jade and Assh Lee are really doing it for me lately. That's why I'm hype for The Booty Movie #4. But that's the thing. So many sexy babes, so few competent reliable dicks to go around. So if you spot a new up and comer brotha, tag him with your favorite company via Twitter. Never hurts to give a shout out. These companies need more BBC.
There are a couple of newer black male performers on the horizon apparently. Jason Stone - has done some work with Bangbros. JC Power-has worked worked with and had rave reviews from the likes of Karlee Grey and Alexa Grace HN Amazin - Brother Lovers newest guy

Mandingo will liekly not be a director anymore, he did not exhibit the best ambition when he left Jules and others the first time and tried his own thing
I've always wondered about the "First IR" thing. Is there an audience that's into "First IR" regardless of the girl? I always assumed that people were excited about seeing a particular or fav girl finally doing IR for the first time. Is there a big segment of the audience who is into First IR for any and every girl who shoots their first IR? Does the BLACKED (or other companies) First IRs sell/do better overall regardless of the girl's popularity than a more popular girl who's done IR before?

I do not think that the issue is lack of talent, so much as it is directors/producers understandably not wanting to risk money on talent who they don't know to be reliable. The same guys are used over and over because they have proven themselves, not because they are the only guys available. Dogfart has shot a few large gangbangs with a a sizable number of the participants being guys I either hardly see anywhere else or don't see anywhere else, and then I browse some of the smaller sites like American-Pornstar.com and it's the same thing. There are a lot of black guys out there who we don't see very often or even ever if we're not subscribed to the right site or don't buy the right dvd. Until the money men and the people behind the camera are willing to risk fails, that's not going to change.

Based on my general impression of Blacked's consumer base, first IRs from fresh faces seem to me to be in real demand in and of themselves, regardless of who the fresh face belongs to. Now, I don't think that the demand for first IRs in general is greater than the demand for specific first IRs, but it does appear to be a significant phenomenon.Hmm. That's an interesting question. Way too hard to even begin to answer for me. All I can say is that a lot of Blacked members would rather newbie firsts than repeats from a popular pornstar.

Had a kind of weird encounter tonight. I had been searching through the brothalovers website recently when I came across this performer on there going by Brittany Sands. Jacky St. James 1st Sweet Sinner IR Film Releases I generally bemoan the lack of black male performers in features, so I'm happy to see this one release. I'm especially happy to see Jacky St. James being the director, since I've though for a while that she was one of the best feature directors around, but she'd never done an IR scene in any of her New Sensations features (someone correct me if I'm wrong there).
