This is a review of the series called "The Lesbian Study." It's also about a year old. Unlike "The Love Story," emotionally it's not quite as intense; however, it's longer and has an even more star-studded cast. This is the review of the first episode, released on 3/31/2021. It has Evelyn Claire as Joyce, Lena Anderson as Paula, and Scarlit Scandal as Lisa.
As the initial episode, we are just setting up the characters, so the story is quite simple so far. Joyce is a graduate student who travels to California (from where? apparently it's some place gloomy) to conduct a research on lesbian sexuality. There she meets her roommate Paula, an actual lesbian, who introduces Joyce to potential interview subjects. The first interviewee turns out to be Lisa, who introduces the heretofore "undecided" Joyce to the joy of lesbian sex (hmm, there seems to be some unintentional rhyming going on).
- We open with a short segment with Joyce lost in a fantasy about lesbian sex, only to be awakened from the daydream by her roommate -- OMG it's Evelyn Claire looking shy, nerdy, and frumpy! I can't, I can't, I just can't even - Her roommate Paula, with short hair, jeans and a tee shirt (I guess baby butch?), boldly checks out Joyce from head to toe - Finally unable to withstand the blatant scrutiny anymore, a nervous Joyce flaps her hands around and blurts out "Take a picture it'll last longer!" It's beyond adorable. - So what do you know, Paula does just that. Wow, I guess if you are cute enough and confident enough, you can actually take that literally.
- A really nice, easy-flowing banter follows in the kitchen. Paula is just too cute. - Joyce reveals that she has never actually been with a girl, so is only "undecided," and the main reason she has chosen this subject for research is because she had an almost-fling with her female advisor; or, as Paula calls it, the "hot older lady rite of passage." As the self-proclaimed "fucking lesbian legend," Paula agrees to help Joyce by setting her up with interview subjects. - Day of her first interview: Paula sleeps past the alarm clock (again), and Joyce has to come and wake her up; Paula tells her she has 30 minutes to assemble an "effortless Cali girl look." - So this is what Joyce comes up with. At first I thought this was going to be a makeover episode? But I guess when you are Evelyn Claire, it doesn't matter if you dress nerdy or frumpy or dorky or whatever, you are just Evelyn Claire. You are the star that defines the gravity of fashion, not the other way around.
Then Joyce meets Lisa. No further plot development occurs. The rest is just sexy, sensual, erotic lesbian sex. Probably the exact sort of lesbian sex that a girl who's curious about lesbian sex would dream of having -- this is nice direction. I guess Joyce is no longer undecided. Incidentally, if you are wondering how does having sex with a girl counts as interviewing her for sexuality research, Joyce helpfully informs us that she did the interview afterward. Who approved that research protocol?!
This is a nice initial episode, if a bit slow. The character of Joyce -- young, a bit naive and lacking in confidence, but happily exploring her lesbian sexuality -- is being nicely set up. The suave Paula serves as a will-they-won't-they potential romantic partner. I really like the easy connection between them. The sex is the exactly appropriate first time sensual and erotic encounter that Joyce has imagined. All three girls are just ridiculously beautiful.
This is a review of the second episode of the series "The Lesbian Study." It was released on 4/16/2021. It stars Evelyn Claire as Joyce, Lena Anderson as Paula, Madi Meadows as Eva, and Sabina Rouge as Katie.
Paula sets up lesbians for Joyce to interview. Most of the scene is taken up one such "interview" -- I put it in quotes because there is no questioning, just sex between Eva and Katie. Does Joyce watch and interview them afterward? Or perhaps this is meant to be a flashback that forms the substance of the interview? Presumably it's the latter, or a watching and turned on Joyce would have been nice to show, even if she doesn't participate.
The plot development happens mainly after the scene, where the confident and suave Paula's life sees to be falling apart -- she ditches Evelyn without warning, parties all night, and has lost her job. We close with Evelyn looking on, worried.
- Evelyn tries to call Paula but gets no answer. "She had a whole other life that I had no part in." - Paula is supposed to be going with Evelyn to this lesbian couple's home, but is a no show. - Fortunately the couple is still very welcoming. - Evelyn gets to watch? More likely memory, as Evelyn says in a voice over, "They shared with me their most intimate secrets, including how they met, what felt good, and how many times they cum."
- Not much to say except the sex between Madi and Sabina also feels sensual and erotic; also note how Sabina puts a pillow under Madi's back when she's about to go down on Madi -- Sabina is so considerate!
- Sabina shows really nice fingering. Also it's interesting to note how Madi basically copies Sabina's approach. I'm not sure if this is pre-arranged, or just Madi being smart and doing what the more experienced Sabina has done. Lastly the tribbing position actually looks OK.
- Joyce confronts Paula, whose mood rapidly swings between exuberance, flirty, and dejected. Joyce is worried.
This part is built primarily around the sex scene between Sabina and Madi, which is nice though not spectacular -- I would rank it slightly below the sex in the first part. Toward the end the tension rises, and we are left to wonder about how the central relationship between Joyce and Paula will develop. These two actually have minimal screentime in this part, but when they are on screen, they both do a good job acting-wise, and again that tension/connection between them is palpable.
This is a review of the third episode of the series "The Lesbian Study." It was released on 5/8/2021. It stars Cecilia Lion as Maya, Charlotte Stokely as Jenny, Evelyn Claire as Joyce.
In this episode Joyce goes on another solo interview, except this time we actually see her talking to her interviewee Jenny. It turns out Jenny has had a past relationship with Paula. It quickly becomes clear to Jenny that Joyce has a big crush on Paula. Later that night, Jenny and her girlfriend Maya have sex while Jenny sleeps in the guest bedroom next door, separated by a rather thin wall.
- [speaking of the small size of the "lesbian community"] We all eventually get around to sleeping with each other, at least once - It's really cute the way you say "lesbians," like you are not too sure about it. - It's still new to me but i like it - Jenny: is there a lesbian that you like? Like... Paula? Joyce: Oh nonono, Paula and I are just... friends.
- [speaking of Paula] Her tongue is a blessing to every woman on this planet - Jenny: "you have kissed her, right?" Joyce: silently shakes head. Jenny whispers: "But you want to?" - Jenny's girlfriend Maya speaking of Joyce's feeling of Paula: "a little crush, may be?" Jenny: "A biiiiig crush! So big! She's so smitten... she's a baby." - Maya teasing Jenny about her past, who was just like Joyce.
- In a past life, Charlotte, or at least her tongue, may have been a hummingbird. - It's not easy to shoot face sitting. This is a good angle. - The last two images are Joyce masturbating while listening to the couple in the next room.
In this episode we meet Jenny, played by the inimitable Charlotte Stokely. She's not just beautiful and an excellent lover of women, here we see her successfully playing an interesting character even with very limited time available. Her flirtations with Joyce is absolutely delicious. Yet she also shows a measure of restrain -- when it becomes clear that Joyce, just like her younger self, has a crush on the dazzling Paula, she displays a mixture of compassion and wistfulness. When interacting with her, Evelyn's Joyce is also very nice to watch: the inexperienced Joyce is incapable of hiding her emotions, bouncing from slight discomfort in the face of Jenny's flirtations, to giddiness when discussing her new found sexuality, to overt defensiveness when broaching the subject of Paula. Cecilia Lion's Maya is very beautiful and has a very good sex scene with Jenny.
The choice of having Joyce listening in next door is interesting. In Joyce's interview with Jenny, it is revealed that Jenny and Maya have an open relationship. Given all the heavy flirtations (and the fact that I'm watching, you know, porn), I was fully expecting Joyce to join in and have a threesome. But she doesn't. From a lesbian sex perspective, that's a shame. From a story perspective, however, I think it's a good choice. It fits with the empathy that Jenny has shown with respect to Joyce and the crush Joyce has on the off-screen Paula. Also, Evelyn Claire masturbation is major, major sexiness by itself. Besides, all this clearly build up the tension to the inevitable delicious showdown between Joyce and Paula. What do you know? For once less is more.
This is a review of the fourth episode of the series "The Lesbian Study." It was released on 5/31/2021. It stars Evelyn Claire as Joyce, Lena Anderson as Paula.
So. Before we begin, let's take a moment and talk about my feelings about Evelyn Claire. I hope I don't come across as a creep or a potential stalker. But she's... *sigh* In a previous review, I joked about how she's like a star with her own gravitational field that defines attractiveness. There's another way she's like a star: normally she's too just bright. Out of kindness, she dims her own beauty down a bit, so we mere mortals can coexist with her and not be burned into ash. Take the first scene she has with Scarlit Scandal. No disrespect to Scarlit, who is a beautiful woman, but that scene feels fun and nice because that was Evelyn in "energy-saving" mode, being shy, being cute. When she shakes her hair loose and turns on goddess mode, who can stand in front of her? Not even Lena Anderson. But she comes close. She probably comes closer than anyone else.
So there really isn't much story here, because this is the inevitable conclusion to all the tension built up. Joyce confronts Paula, and they have sex. That's it. The rest is just, supernova (to keep with the stellar analogy).
- You fucked everyone in this town but me! - I was scared of hurting you. I've hurt everyone else -I'm a big girl. I can handle it - OK
This is where, in a moment that feels like an involuntary verbal reflex, Lena says, "So beautiful..." This is also the moment where a gentle piano begins to play softly in the background. Against all logic that says music is terrible in a sex scene, I actually like it. It feels like this is a moment that deserves music.
This is another moment where Lena just can't help it: "You are so perfect." Then Evelyn shakes loose her hair. Then my brain stops working.
There's no point to making any more screencaps. Just go watch it. If you like watching beautiful women, if you like watching beautiful women making love, this is as close to perfection as it will probably ever get. The only other thing I will say is that Lena Anderson is an absolutely stunning beauty herself, so I apologize if my hyperventilation over Evelyn glosses over her -- she and Evelyn make a beautiful pair.
Thus concludes "The Lesbian Study." The story and drama are admittedly on the thin side. The second part feels a bit superfluous (there two people who have no direct connection to the plot and other main characters have sex, and our main characters are in fact mostly absent). The first part does a good job of building the connection between Evelyn and Lena's characters (the kitchen dialogue is well written and acted). I feel the strongest parts are part 3 with Charlotte playing an interesting character Jenny, and of course the mindblowing part 4. All the semi-jokes about Evelyn "turning it on" aside, I think the photography and editing team also really deserve a tremendous amount of credit for making Evelyn and Lena and this scene look as incredibly beautiful as they are.
This is a review of Influence Part 1 starring Alexia Anders (playing as Cathy) and Lily Larimar. It's released on 5/15/2022, directed by Ricky Greenwood.
This is the most recent release from AHL. And, wow, the barbarians are definitely at the gates and screaming for the blood of this one! A rating of 45% -- the lowest ever! Considering just how unbelievably cute these girls are, you know that something must have gone terribly wrong.

The scene starts with Cathy in a scenic spot taking selfies. She runs into Lily and asks Lily to take some photos of her. I'm not sure if the conversation is meant to be flirty (I think this because at the end she asks Lily to join her for dinner -- is this meant to be a date?). It just comes across as really stiff. Then it gets a little weird, when Cathy asks "Are you sure we don't know each other?" and Lily says "No... how could we? I've only been here for a few days." But she says it in such a hesitant way that it almost feels like she's lying? Is this intentional, or just bad acting? Later they have their dinner/date, and it's just painfully awkward. Then they have sex, after some painfully awkward lines. I will focus my comments on the plot and characters, and say a few things at the end about the sex.
- Are you sure we don't know each other? - Lily, after meeting Cathy, sits outside a house (not sure whose), looking at her phone (presumably Cathy's social media), and whispers to herself "Maybe you just have one of those faces." Also: can I just say Lily Larimar is absolutely gorgeous in this shot? - Their dinner "date," sitting awkwardly apart - Cathy asks again: "Are you sure we don't know each other from somewhere?" Lily denies it again, and rather ominously (maybe?) says, "I just have one of thoes faces?"
- Excruciating moment of silence - Cathy: "Do you wanna a hug?" - Cathy: "You know, this sounds crazy but I feel like we know each other, we've met before." Lily: "Yeah I feel it too." - Cathy: "Maybe I've seen you in my dreams." Lily: "I've seen you in my dreams" [I'm not making this up: they really said that]
Here's the thing: in the abstract, it's easy enough to say "Oh how hard can it be for two porn actresses who are about to have sex with each other to flirt a little on screen?" You see people like Evelyn Claire and Lena Anderson and Charlotte Stokely do it with ease or even flair in "The Lesbian Study" (or in a recent non-AHL example I've seen, Alex Coal and Lilly Bell in Lesbian Tutors 9 from GFF) and you think it's easy. Then you see this (and other examples like Alex Coal and Charly Summer in "Moving On 2") and it becomes painfully obvious that it's NOT AT ALL easy. You need good writing (NOT "I've seen you in my dreams") and women who can deliver them with the right tone and body language.
So assuming this story is meant to be played "straight" -- that this is really a love at first sight romance -- then the script and acting have stumbled, big time. But perhaps not? You have that one weirdly ominous moment when Lily is by herself and says about Cathy that "Maybe you just have one of those faces." Later during the date, at one point Cathy makes a comment about how ugly Lily's dress is (is that even a remotely realistic comment to make during a date?!), and she will give one of hers to Lily -- is this hinting at some dark psychological thriller where Lily will replace Cathy? But even if this is the case, the acting is still off. In such a scenario, Alexia is still too stiff (her delivery is too stiff for any scenario), and Lily the dark seducer should have acted with more natural enthusiasm. I must say I'm just really confused and unsatisfied.
About the sex: it's not a disaster by any means. Alexia is a little lacking: her kisses are more close-mouthed and her oral is a bit more hesitant; but Lily is excellent. They have a really nice 69 and the camera wisely spends most of the time focusing on Lily licking Alexia. But as a sucker for pretty faces, I won't complain too much, with the hope that Alexia improves in the future.
Well let's hope future episodes of this series get better.
p.s.: during the lead up to the kiss, they re-used the piano from "A Love Story!" I consider this a terrible betrayal -- I love that music which comes with such emotional weight in that wonderful movie. Here it doesn't fit at all!
p.p.s.: if they are really planning to do a "replacement" thing, one problem is that the two girls don't look alike at all. This reminds me of a fun story from early Girlsway with Riley Reid and Melissa Moore. These two would have been able to pull it off.
This is a review of "On Our Own Pt 1" starring Kimmy Kimm and Laney Grey, released on 5/23/2022. It's directed by Ricky Greenwood.
The scene has a "college" tag, and the very first shot is Kimmy and Laney walking into a big house, looking around wide eyed, speaking of "our home for the next several months" -- so I thought this was going to be a story about two young women leaving home and going to college. But it's not? I want to summarize the plot, but I must say it's very confusing what they are actually doing.
I think part of the suspension of disbelief is that we are supposed to think they are older than they appear -- they are supposed to be women who are at least in their late 20s with established careers. But they have both come to believe these are paths imposed on them from outside, and it's time for them to take a risk and forge their own path in life... by doing what, exactly? Just leaving their old lives behind and move into a new house? Since this is just part one of the story, I hope for further clarification later on.
Other than this lack of clarity, I like the dialogue. It effectively narrates their background and sets up the contrasting personality: Kimmy is the slightly more adventurous one, with Laney still harboring more doubts about this new fork in the road. The delivery from both actresses are good: there's no overacting or stiffness, both are quite naturalistic. Of course after "The Love Story" I expect nothing less from the talented Laney, but I'm glad to see "new girl" Kimmy doing well in this regard.
It's clear that some thoughts have been put into the transition to sex: it starts with a conversation about Laney being "wound up so tight," then an impulsive kiss from Kimmy, then a brief conversation, then finally the foreplay and sex start. Yet somehow it still feels unnecessarily rushed? Consider "The Love Story:" there the characters would speak and interact for at least several days to let tension build up before they have sex. Consider "The Lesbian Study:" there the sex between the two main characters does not take place for three episodes! "On Our Own" feels more like the more recent "Moving On" or "Influence" where the two characters rush into sex.
As for the sex, I must say Kimmy visibly appears to be the less experienced one. Her kissing is close-mouthed. Her pussy eating consists of tentative and light licks. But I feel any criticisms should be tempered by two factors. First, she has appeared in very few g/g scenes, so she is literally less experienced on camera, and I hope to see her improve. Second, she does not shy away from contact with Laney, and appears to have experienced genuine pleasure or even an orgasm at the more capable tongue and fingers of Laney Grey. Speaking of Laney, her sexual skills are excellent as expected, especially considering she is essentially being paired up with a "rookie." This brings up an interesting point: in the plot Kimmy is the bolder one, Laney the more reserved one; but wouldn't a reverse fit the sex situation better? Of course it's possible that Laney has to shoulder a greater acting role later on (some sort of character transformation arc), and being the more capable actress, it has to be her to take on that role.
Despite the lack of clarity on the plot, the conversation flows easily. Even though later during the sex Kimmy is lacking, her acting is solid, from teasing Laney a bit, to narrating her character's background (I feel like this is a person speaking of her own life, not deliverying lines), to the impulsive kiss.
Kimmy sucking on Laney's breast is one of the highlights (unfortunately there are not many others from her). Laney's use of finger and tongue together had sent Bella Rolland spasming in pleasure in "The Love Story," and here they don't disappoint either. When Kimmy appears to experience an orgasm, she slaps a hand over her mouth -- it appears to be a very genuine moment when the pleasure catches her by surprise.
Oh ye of little faith! The hand-over-mouth thing is pretty unusual. If she wants to fake an orgasm, the much more popular method is to be loud rather than quiet (I didn't mention this in the review, but I think this is pretty much what Laney did). On the other hand, I did compliment Kimmy's acting skills, and I was careful to use the phrase "appear to."
This is a review of "Rich Bitch Pt 1," starring Anna Claire Clouds and Braylin Bailey, directed by Ricky Greenwood and released on 5/31/22. As there's no photoset, I took the photo of Anna from Adult Times, and Braylin from Girlfriend Films. Anna has already shown herself to be an excellent partner to Alex Coal in "Moving On" from this site, and I've just reviewed Braylin's scene in "Massage Seduction" from Sweetheart Video where she did a great job.
So the plot is this: Anna and Braylin are stepsisters (yes it's one of those stories). They don't get along, but they sort of want to. Before their sisterly drama gets sorted out, however, they get kidnapped by a group of ski mask wearing villains for ransom (their dad is apparently very rich). Tied together and thrown into what looks like a prison cell, they... have sex. *sigh*
- Anna: I'm not a spoiled brat. I appreciate what daddy provides for us. Braylin: (mocking) "I appreciate what daddy provides for us." - Anna: You really think I don't like you? Braylin: I thought we were going to be best friends. When it didn't turn out that way, it really broke my heart. Anna: Of course I like you. - Anna (to driver): hey you are going the wrong way. Braylin: are you SERIOUS? you are DEFINITELY not getting five stars! *IMMACULATE POUT* - Anna: I knew this wasn't the right car. Braylin: are you serious right now? Anna: This is your fault! Braylin: FUCK YOU Anna Claire!
- Kidnapper: welcome girls, I hope our accommodation is not too uncomfortable. Braylin: they SUCK! - Braylin struggles out of her ropes, but is easily recaptured by the kidnappers. Kidnapper: you've lost the privilege of having your own chair! - Braylin gets out of the rope again and also frees Anna: "I feel bad that I wasn't a better person." - A rather sweet and chaste kiss (they get a lot hotter later).
- Braylin: what if they are watching? Anna: Let them watch. - There are some very sexy shots in this film. I really like this one with Anna looking up - Here's another one, with the two staring into each other's eyes and Braylin biting her lips. - Main kidnapper (Jayden Cole) to assistant: I'll handle them.
The sex is long. The entire scene is 45 minutes. 10 minutes are spent on the story, about 8 are spent on foreplay, and the rest 27 minutes are just entirely excellent oral sex (there's a very small amount of finger rubbing and thigh rubbing).
Let's get the bad things out of the way: the plot just doesn't make any sense. This is not a comedy/parody, so there's no possible way that two kidnapping victims will suddenly start having sex with each other while still imprisoned. For a while I thought this is not a real kidnapping, that one of the two sisters is really a "confederate" of a conspiracy designed to somehow entrap/manipulate the other sister. But then we are shown the kidnappers who talk about waiting for the father's call on the ransom -- so this is supposed to be a real kidnapping. It is possible to design some sort of scenario where the two, through some (possibly too difficult to stage) action scenes escape, and manage to bond through the experience. But this alternative will take a lot longer to develop and possibly too difficult. Still, as told, this story is just...
Well, onto the good things.
- The two women are exemplars of youthful beauty. They look amazing. - Despite the major problems with the script (as I explained above), there are moments that are good. For example, the initial dialogue efficiently set up their relationship and personality. - Speaking of personality, it's nice that they are set up as pretty distinct, with Anna more laid back, and Braylin very capably playing the high maintenance/drama queen/teen diva personality (so much so that sometimes it gives off a sense of comedy, which is not necessarily a good thing). - Despite the relatively dim lighting and cramped space, surprisingly I find myself liking the camerawork. There are a lot of shots that feel very intimate and intensely erotic. - The foreplay and sex are long, slow, and absolutely delicious. Whatever problems I have with anything else, as porn, as sex, I can find little fault with it. Of course it can be improved like everything else (for example by adding fingering), but there's nothing wrong with it as it is.
So here are some of my thoughts on the most recent scene which is between Amber Moore and Kyler Quinn.
I really like Amber, and very much enjoy seeing her in this very-lightly made up, "normal" (as opposed to more overtly sexual) look. Early on in the scene we are setting up her character's personality, so those shy moments of tucking her hair behind her ear, turning around when Kyler is undressing are very cute. The problem is that the plot seems to make no sense. Is Kyler supposed to be an escort? Is Amber running a business offering erotic massages to women? Are they on a date? I have no idea what's going on. Also, I guess Amber giving Kyler massage is supposed to be the foreplay, but this got cut really short, so we just end up with little foreplay.
By now I have accepted that tongue kissing is just not Amber's style; still, there could have been more kissing anyway. She's actually quite good at oral sex, and look beautiful doing it. I've not included any screencap for Kyler eating Amber's pussy because she actually doesn't do much of it.
Normally I hate seeing sex toys in my lesbian porn (with the partial exception of strapon if it's done well). But both of them seem to have really enjoyed it. In fact, they even manage to turn terrible tribbing into a mutually, genuinely enjoyable moment (they actually did it twice). I feel conflicted about this: is it right for me to object, if they really like it? At least the way they use it is good: it's accompanied by oral sex and it looks sensual and pleasurable (instead of merely a tool).
Overall I really enjoy seeing the beautiful Amber Moore, but I wish there's more plot/character development (which is supposed to be the point of AHL, no?) and more foreplay. The toy? It's not bad, but let's not make a habit of it.
These are some thoughts about a scene between April Olsen and Kenzie Taylor titled "For Old Times Sake."
It's an extremely simple scenario: Kenzie asks her old ex-girlfriend April to have sex with her one more time. Yup that's it. Well at least April looks particularly lovely in this one. The initial setup looks to have happened in a real outdoor restaurant? Really enjoyed the 10 min long foreplay. April's oral is really excellent.
Kenzie's oral does not make a good start (it's her sticking her tongue out for April to grind on). Later when they move to this semi-69 position I think it's better and April seems to enjoy herself a lot more.
Arguably the most notable thing of the scene: a feeldoe. However, as it's not paired with pantyhose like Straplez, both women have to hold it in hand. I hope in the future AHL can use this again but with pantyhose so it doesn't have to be held. Lastly there's some forgettable tribbing.
It's a good scene for fans of April Olsen to enjoy her beauty and excellent foreplay. Too bad the story is too thin, the feeldoe is not used up to its potential, and Kenzie's oral is generally not quite up to par.
This is a recent scene between Anya Olsen and Harley Haze, with Theodora Day in a non-sex role. The plot, honestly, is a bit ridiculous for three women who look to be in their early to mid 20s. Basically it's Theodora the houseguest, ostensibly straight, trying on practice kisses with a lesbian couple Anya and Harley, because she's worried she's not good enough for a man. The one good thing I can say about this is that compared to some of the other "plot" I've seen on AHL, this one at least makes sense (as far as it goes).
Harley encourages her reluctant girlfriend Anya to practice with Theodora, who might as well have "homewrecker" tattooed on her forehead (I find her really cute and in fact eagerly await the homewrecking in subsequent episodes). Once they start, Harley gets jeoleous, and has a mini-fight with Anya later in the evening.
Of course they quickly make up and have sex. The sex is pretty nice. Nothing spectacular but nothing bad either. The oral sex is quite enjoyable to watch especially from Anya. I consider the time spent on 69 and oral from behind to be wasted -- I'd much rather they cut those and spend the time on regular oral sex which looks so much better and more pleasurable. So this is a review of a scene between Amber Moore and Penny Barber, released on 11/15/2022. It has been referenced in the All Things Lesbian thread favorably by others, and I concur this is an excellent sex scene. I say sex scene, because regrettably the plot and dialogue are either non-existent or make no sense. Oh well, I'll take what I can get. You can't get women with acting ability like Charlotte Stokely or Bella Rolland in every scene.

This is part 2 of a series. The plot is pretty paper thin so I won't go into it. What little material and dialogue there are, however, both women handle them pretty well. I decided to re-sign to the website (again) so I've caught up on scenes from the last few weeks. Mainly wanted to talk about the latest scene with Leana Lovings and Chanel Camryn. This is a review of a recent scene between Jazlyn Ray and Scarlett Sage. There are several points of interests to be noted about the scene (as I'll discuss below). Overall, the scene convincingly portrays sexual pleasure, but it feels like the temperature never really goes above medium.
This scene, unlike some of the recent one's I've seen from AHL, sincerely tries to set up a story. Jazlyn and Scarlett meet at a yoga, they hit it off, Jazlyn comes on a little too strong and spooks the inexperienced (with women) Scarlett, they reconcile, and they have sex. I appreciate the effort, but there are two major problems. One is that the two women hit quite different notes in their verbal and nonverbal performance of the story: Scarlett is playing it serious and straight, but I feel Jazlyn is treating it more as a comedy, so the whole thing just doesn't strike me as convincing.
Another is a problem that goes beyond the scene itself. What do two normal people do in a normal situation where they like each other? They go on a date. I know filming an actual date -- treating it like an actual romance -- is just not a thing for contemporary porn. There's a thread in "The Feature Side" forum where people talk about classic porn, including those from the golden age (70s? I don't really know. It's before my time). My understanding (I can be completely wrong) is that back in those days people thought adult and non-adult cinema would converge, so at least some people with actual drama training worked in adult films. I don't know if they had romantic date in their porn in those days. My dream (after world peace) is to see a romantic date in a lesbian porn.
I did this with a Vivian Fox scene, but here I notice this nail thing again, and this time from both women! This is a review of the most recent scene between Melissa Stratton and Octavia Red. It's an unusually long scene at one hour, and in fact has two sex scenes. It also has quite a bit plot that I really like, so the review is going to be very long. I'll split it in two. This is an excellent scene with two gorgeous women and a lot of very sexy strap-on action. Full disclaimer: I find Melissa extremely hot, so this review is going to be very biased.
The story starts with Octavia and her wife on a bed. The dialogue and acting is done really well. This part is not long, but has some humorous parts, and clearly conveys the sense that there's some trouble in the marriage. Next day Octavia welcomes a highschool friend played by Melissa, who will stay with them for a while. Melissa is getting cold feet before marriage (to a guy), confessing to Octavia that she doesn't feel sexually attracted to him. Later they plan to go out, and Melissa strips to change in front of a clearly uncomfortable Octavia.
Later that night Octavia's wife comes back and is mad at her because she's jealous of Melissa and feels insecure. Octavia sweet-talks her into having sex. We don't see the sex, but sees Melissa, who hears the sex, masturbates to the soud. Good lord those lips, those nipples...
Next morning she tells Octavia about the thin walls, who gets adorably embarrassed. Then follows a sexy push-and-pull, where Melissa wants to have a taste, and Octavia trying to do the right thing, until Melissa huskily says, "I know you feel it... Just give in."
Thus ends the story phase. This part lasts 15 minutes, and I think is done really well by both women. It's not super complicated or dramatic by any means, but the dialogue and acting are handled really well, and I love the buildup of the anticipation: Melissa's strip-tease and her masturbation very nicely ratcheting up the scene's tension.
The kissing, foreplay, and oral sex are all more or less OK. Not that good, not bad by any means either. Anyway, the real focus of the scene starts when Octavia walks in with a strap on. Melissa gives a very wet and sexy deepthroat blowjob.
The missionary is usually my favorite position to watch during strap-on scenes. This one is not bad, though the dildo itself seems a bit too soft so Octavia has to hold it in her hand sometimes. The real highlight is the cowgirl position. Watching gorgeous Melissa rocking and rolling her hips is just glorious. Later Octavia takes Melissa from behind. Overall this strap-on session is done really well.
I find one comment on AHL's site very amusing: "there's no place in lesbian story porn for plastic male appendages." In my mind this person is holding his (likely) arms akimbo and stamping his foot in outrage.

Later in the night Octavia's wife, even though she hasn't found out about Octavia's indiscretion, just can't stand Melissa anymore and stomps out in a huff. Melissa walks in and tells Octavia that she doesn't regret what they did earlier, and "It was the hottest sex of my life," and can't stop thinking about how it would feel to wear that dildo. There's little Octavia can do except to grin and give in again. Melissa goes to change into very sexy black lingerie and puts on the strap on. Octavia deepthroats her too.
This time Melissa's oral sex is better than the first part. Her licking and sucking of Octavia looks very sexy. She then does the missionary position nicely.
Interestingly, in the middle of the sex, a long session of breast play breaks out. Octavia has really nice breasts, and I love the way Melissa sucks and bites them. They both look fantastic in this part.
They resume the strap-on action, and like in part one, I think here the best position with Octavia is also cowgirl. She looks lovely rocking her hips. I only wish they would have done this in a different angle where we can see Octavia's face.
p.s.: as I commented before with respect to another AHL scene, I wish they (or another US producer) would give the feeldoe a try. It's weird how only Straplez does this. Anyone know why?
This is a recent scene between Jayden Cole and Jazlyn Ray, which is part 2 of a series, following part 1 between Scarlett Sage and Jazlyn Ray which I reviewed earlier. I think this is overall a significantly better scene in terms of sex. It's weird that it's rated so low by the subscribers at a lowly 76%.
There isn't much plot, but the dialogue is delivered naturally and pretty fun, and I enjoy watching the two of them having a little fun. Jazlyn even literally says "That's so cringe." I'm not sure how old she is, but she's probably just young enough so that this doesn't feel like a "how do you do fellow kids" moment. Both women look very beautiful and have amazing bodies. The kissing is pretty heavy and wet with quite a bit of tongue play.
The oral sex, which is at the heart of the scene, is done really well by both women. Both are totally into it, both lick and suck hard on the other's clit. Jazlyn also fingers Jayden with her two fingers (same as the scene with Scarlett, the nails on those two fingers she uses are trimmed short), which become soaking wet. The face sitting by Jazlyn on Jayden is done really well, especially as we can clearly see Jayden's face and the way she holds Jazlyn's hips and brings it forcefully to her mouth.
In contrast, the later part where Jayden sits on Jazlyn's face has a poor angle. I'm pretty sure Jazlyn's tongue is working very hard, but mostly it's obscured, and we can't even see her face. The last part of the scene is tribbing. Initially it's done pretty well with Jazlyn on top, rubbing herself hard against Jayden. Later however they get into some pretty bad positions. This constitutes pretty much the only really weak part of the scene.
This is a review of a recent scene between Anna Claire Clouds and Victoria Voxxx. Judging by the cast, if you think this is going to be an excellent scene, well, you'd be right. These are are two of the absolute best in the business right now (as far as I'm concerned), and the scene meets my very high expectations.
I like the opening of the scene and the music. Anna looks gorgeous, and the plot itself is refreshing in its simplicity: it's just two women going on a date and being very attracted to each other. I have noted before that many (perhaps most) of the lesbian scenes have really silly and contrived plot, and I'd love to see a series where it's just two women going on a date. Alas we skip the date itself and just go to the end.
Interestingly -- and perhaps fittingly given the website -- they do not go directly to sex. They pause in front of the bedroom door and talk a bit. I like this part where they speak of their lives, which gives both characters some depth. The lines are delivered well, especially by Anna. They then do start on the sex, beginning with excellent kissing.
The foreplay is outstanding. It's slow and sexy kissing and touching by both women of each other's whole bodies.
The reciprocal oral sex by both women are great, as expected. One really cute and sexy moment is where Victoria eating Anna from behind with the two holding hands.
They then go through a few more positions, all of them done very well, including an energetic and excellent bit of tribbing.
They end by going back to reciprocal, fantastic oral and rubbing.
