Here are just some interesting shots, which show up at the start and between segments of the scene. By themselves they are very beautiful. But also they serve to illustrate the passage of time. Also, it's nice that a scene written by Maya is treated seriously so that they invest in such cinematography.

The dialogue delivery, the emoting -- they are all done really well, with good restraint (Cadence had scenes before where I feel like she overacted). The story feels like it's biting off more than it can chew, because this feels like such a small beginning of a larger story that I doubt it can play out in its entirety, even with a part 2.

The foreplay is great. A ton of sexy kisses, and Victoria licks and sucks Cadence all over her body.

Her oral on Cadence is just fantastic. The more I watch her, the more I have a hard time thinking of anyone better at this.

-- This is the first scene from either women that I've reviewed. I'm very impressed by both.

-- This is part two of a series. I skimmed through the first part, which has the same two women, and it doesn't look very good. But this one seems much better, perhaps due to the two women being more familiar with each other.

-- This scene has multiple apparent orgasms. Of course I'm not some orgasm inspector so I will simply treat them as genuine because they look to be so. If they are fake, then congratulations to both as they are excellent fakes.

Good job on a very nice script, fitting for AHL as a site that does pays attention to story. The conversation leading from platonic love to Romeo and Juliet then to their shared love of literature is actually very, very well written by porn standard. In fact I'd say I have not seen anything like this anywhere else recently. I really enjoy the two women just talking and quasi-flirting. The pace is the conversation sounds a tiny bit too fast to my ears, but otherwise both women come off as pretty natural in their delivery, and I really enjoy their performance.

Bree talks about her bad breakup, and emphasizes that she's not looking for something sexual or romantic. She actually asks Aubry, "You don't find me attractive, do you?" Unfortunately for her, Aubry says, "I do." In a very funny moment, Aubry then asks the same question, and Bree reflexively says no, and then immediately realizes to her horror how that sounds, and has to furiously backpedal in front of a crestfallen Aubry.

By now it's clear Aubry is definitely looking for something more than Bree. She tries to argue with Bree, about how lust can be liberating. Then in the crowning moment of the scene (that makes me giggle like a little kid), Aubry earnestly starts quoting a passionate love poem by the famous poet Pablo Neruda. The reaction by Bree is just perfect: her smile just says "omigod I can't believe I'm being serenaded by a literal love poem. That's so cheesy but also so sweet." Again, I just really enjoy watching the interaction between the two.

Aubry continues to press her point, about how Bree should be willing to take a chance on at least lust (if not love). As their faces get closer, Aubry finally leans forward for a quick kiss. The following exchange is just tooth-rottingly sweet and cute.

Bree: Why did you do that?
Aubry: I saw the curve of your mouth and thought it needed a kiss.
Bree: You sure you are not just to trying to make a point here?
Aubry: No! Maybe. Well... yes.

OK so I (and the scene) am finally done with the story and the sex starts. Just to be clear, the story part is only about 8 minute long out of a 40 minute scene. Anyway, the kissing is OK, but not that deep. The oral by Aubry is from a rather awkward (at least it seems to me) side angle, but her licking and sucking of Bree's clit is pretty nice, and Bree certainly likes it.

Bree's oral is, as usual for her scenes, quite competent, but not intense enough for me taste.

Then Aubry moves behind Bree to rim her for quite a long time, but the licking is for the most part pretty shallow so not very good (also she completely misses the chance to use her fingers on Bree in this position). Then it's 69. When Aubry rubs Bree's clit hard during this part, Bree really likes it here (probably the most exciting part of the sex). They end on a long tribbing session. Bree looks really good on top, and it's done pretty well, but Aubry over-reacts quite a bit.

At first I questioned their hair and makeup: Charlie is supposed to be River's stepmother, yet Charlie, who already doesn't look older than River, is the one with the youthful ponytail, which makes it really hard to believe in that age gap. Yet as the dialogue flows, it sort of makes sense: this is not really a mommy-kink scene at all. It's about Charlie trying to relate to her initially antagonistic stepdaughter by telling her about Charlie's own libertine past. The dialogue moves along in a very naturalistic way and both women do a good job with the lines. It's very interesting that this is portrayed in a very "nice" way, neither jokey/comedic nor dark/predatory.

The kissing is sort of shallow (I have not seen enough scenes from either women to say if this is just one or both of their style). Then Charlie starts her beautiful oral on River, full of deep licks and sucking of her clit.

Charlie is an absolutely marvelous lesbian fingersmith. Pure skill. Then they do a nice 69, where River's oral appears clearly less experienced, where she just sticks her tongue out and lets Charlie rubs herself against it.

I was really excited for the new scenes labeled as taboo this year. I appreciate the effort to bring back taboo on the site (the category practically dissapeared for almost 2 years), but they're not what I expected. Maybe "Ground rules" has some good things, but the other ones are generally one of the cases I mentioned. The new scene is exactly the first case so...

Maybe I had too high expectations since I remembered great scenes like the one you mentioned, "You can talk to me","Brianne's Journey", "domestic violets", "Jane","like I do", "Snowballs with silver linings I & II", "The chat room incident" to mention some of them...
