John sometimes makes suggestions to the directors on a creative or business-level, but the vast majority of the time, those are simply suggestions and it is up to the individual producer/director to make the final decision. Believe me, I have asked Aiden and Belladonna about this movie, and there was no definitive answer. Sometimes creative people get sidetracked by new ideas. [Link]

Oh yeah, and if you are still writing when the move is being edited, you have big problems. The logical reasons would be: 1) the movie sucks 2) the movie is too hard and EA doesn't want more heat than they already have I personally would go for the 'sucks' as you could probably edit it to be more subdued. Either way, at Sasha's pace, I don't think it will hold anything new by the time it is released. [Link]

However, if Aiden ever gets around to editing the rest of the movie, and it comes out in springtime, they will look like fcking geniuses, not lame procrastinators. (I am a lame procrastinator myself, so I understand). The Soderbergh flick is going to create a tidal wave of new interest in Sasha, and she doesn't have a ton of new scenes hitting the market these days (unlike 2007) ... much less the ultra-hardcore stuff. If the timing is right, Awakening* would be the best-selling gonzo title of 2009. [Link]
