I ordered a Red Light DVD from them and they sent me the title from Shiva without ever asking if i would take it also from Shiva. And then they expect me to pay the shipping for sending it back to them.
Ok but the worst thing is the fact that they offer the RLD DVD's for 14 Euros but my credit card was charged for 15 Euros ! What's that ? The extra fee for a complaining customer who expected to get what he ordered ?
Sorry to hear about your problems. I also ordered one Red Light title from the sale. But I got the right one and not the shiva. Don't know if I was charged 14 or 15 Euros, haven't really checked that but maybe I should do that. :)
I ordered 7 from the redlightdistrict sale. They sent one as a 'night trips' version which was a little disappointing as i understand they cut off dvd extras.
The film in question was 'Me luv u long time 5' and when i compared it to 'me luv u long time 6' i found it was lacking the bonus footage and behind the scenes extras.
I ordered 14 RLD titles from the Erodvd sale , 12 came through and the 2 remaining ones are out of stock , but Aline says they will be sent when they get back in stock. All are original RLD disc's no Night trips or Shiva . I have placed quite a few orders with Erodvd and have always got what I ordered , the only problem's are when parts of the order is out of stock I had to send a few E-mails to remind them that i was still waiting on disc's.
The NightTrip version costs 19€ at erodvd. You paid 14€. Good deal ;-) [/quote]
Just because the 'Night trips' version is more expensive it doesn't mean it's better. As i pointed out it actually lacks the bonus features of the original 'Redlightdistrict' version.

Erodvd is one of my favourite retailers but in this case I feel they should have asked if the buyer was willing to accept a Shiva or Night Trips substitution.
Yes i did contact ERODVD about all this but their answers were a bit less customerfriendly as they appear to be from what they wrote you.
When i first complained about the wrong DVD their answer was : "It`s the same movie only an other label but there is no differance in the content. This title was sold out in Red Light so we send it in Shiva." -> How about asking before doing this ? and its not the same content over 29 min. are missing (Extras). And you can see that this not just happened to me but also to sir wankalot and maybee others. So its just this title and just this title ... The picture quality is also worse then in the Red Light version.(Try FF throung the Shiva garbage and you will see what i mean - it looks like some still pictures during an earthquake)
Okay when i wrote them about this they indeed offered me to send it back, but when i asked who will pay for the shipping back i got this very nice and friendly answer: "Wow, unbelievable, troubles to pay stamps, no problem we will pay them it will not cost your money, don`t be affraid for that." -> Well, yes i have a problem paying stamps to correct their mistakes. No wait - it was my mistake - i expected to get what i ordered and in order to get this i have to pay those stamps - right ?
This wasn't my first order with them but it is definite that this was my last one with them. Nowhere one their website they write anything about 15 Euros minimum per order (i just checked it again).
I simply don't trust them anymore and i don't want to have anything to do with them anymore. It seems they are adopting the bad business methodes some other european online stores use, like newdvdfun.com.
I have done many business with Erodvd and they always went perfectly. Never had any problem with them and personally I think their customer service is also very good. That's why they're one of my favorite store also. In many cases they have gone out of their way to help me get certain titles.
