If she wants to shoot, she has the ability to do some with some of the most respected directors in the industry (while Brad Armstrong and Stormy Daniels aren't Mason or Lansky, they're not chopped liver either). There's no act for her to come back for, no showcase she needs to come back for (because nothing is going to top the Insatiable series), no real goal to aspire to except maybe shooting for a director or two one last (or first) time, which she's never said she has any desire to do. I can easily see why fans would want her to do it, but I can't see why she'd want to. Oh, and the only performers in the industry that aren't "grinding" are the ones under contract. Everyone else is on their grind at all times, because you don't get to the top with out it, and you can't stay at the top by becoming complacent. He just lacks basic charisma, the scenes lack that heat that BLACKED has always been known for. Even Mandingo was at least able to show up for that Megan Rain scene but so far Julio is just kind of there, that coupled with the bad PR just makes this gamble not really worth it imo. What rather bothers me is that he's still relatively new to the industry, at least professionally, and to call for him to be dismissed when they JUST signed him a couple months ago I think is premature. His scenes are rating in the mid to high 8 point range. That's just short of A-rated, and considering the highest rating for any scene is about a 9.2, I'd say mid to high 8s is a very solid debut. I think it's just too early to be wanting to dismiss dude. Give him some time. Remember Flash Brown had issues early on as well. Before Blacked signed him there were accounts that Flash had performance issues, even one scene where he had to depart halfway during shooting and anotha brotha had to take over! Now, that's not me complaining or taking shots (from what I gather there was a very urgent and mortal issue involving family of his that came up - or maybe just an excuse? no telling, so I can't judge), but I'm just saying Flash seems to be regarded now as one of the best guys Blacked has featured among their talent. But just a few years ago he was catching flack and complaints by the vocal minority which I sense is what's going on here. Jerkin it is totally understandable here, but let's have a little less kneejerkin!! lol He's still finding his niche and learning the ropes. I'm sure the environment is a lot different than the limited experience he had in the amateur circuit. IMO, he's already a very good performer with a lot of potential to become even a great performer if he keeps improving the way he has. I've enjoyed all his scenes so far and can't wait for more. I also think it's a bit disingenuous to say all his scenes have been under 30 minutes. His Angel Smalls one was over 31 minutes and his Alexa Grace one was just shy of 30 minutes. I will admit, I wouldn't mind his scenes being longer, but I don't think he's at fault for them being on the short side. The set-ups are pretty short and the blowjob segments could be a bit longer, tbh. I would love it if they used the belly-down and laying on back white mounted blowjob positions more like in the Alexa Grace scene (my favorite of his, which is an unpopular opinion as most prefer the Angel Smalls one). Basically, he's a bad actor right now and mediocre performer. I think once his comfort level before the camera increases, his performance and the overall scenes will improve. I think he deserves a few more scenes, but needs to be matched properly with the right girls (I suggest veterans like Kristina Rose or Dana Vespoli). They can help build him up. To be clear, despite my criticism, I'm not calling for them to can Julio. However, with the exception of Angel "Super" Smalls' scene, it's clear to me that because of his enormous size, scenes with him are going to be limited. By this, I mean that the sex is going to be "slow and steady", he can't "go to town" on a girl's pussy like other guys, such as Jason Brown, can do.
