Once again, I don't have anything against any of these women they're bringing in. I think they're hot and regularly watch their scenes elsewhere. But Blacked was the best IR site in the industry by a million miles and they've decided, for no reason, over the course of the past few years to just keep chipping away at the quality, just keep chipping away at the casting and the production style and the direction, so that the content has become so wildly hit or miss and bereft of the type of content that distinguished it from the other cheap and uninspiring sites, that it's a shadow of what it once was. And now they've decided to abandon the essence of what the site was, as well.

I can only just count on two hands the number of scenes, most of them Euro scenes, over the past 12 months that I've been looking forward to and which lived up to expectations. A few years back every couple of months would've produced the same number of home runs. And the less said about BlackedRaw the better.

Up until recently, it was assumed that the "blackening" would happen by black male flesh, but why couldn't it happen via black female flesh? Now we're seeing, in these threesome scenes anyway, a white girl getting "blacked" by both black male and black female flesh. So someone's still getting "blacked".

So while it's a turn, it's still staying true to their mission statement, in a sense.

(But really, all of the above isn't the important part. Whether this is a significant pivot from the original site's intention or not, the important thing is going to be whether the paying members enjoy the scenes enough to stay paying members. The porn addict sycophants that are signed up to every single site on the network will be happy with any porn, on any site, because they're paying for it all anyway. But the people that were grateful to find a high quality IR site after enduring Dogfart being the only show in town for years will recognize the further distortion of the product they appreciated.

It doesn't matter if paying members walk away once the decision has been made. They'd never walk a decision like this back. And in my experience, a business rarely responds to losing customers by improving their product. More likely, they cut corners and go chasing customers with increasingly niche content. I've never been asked why I've dropped subscriptions in the past. I've never been asked what content would make me more likely to resubscribe. If they sought to improve their product in response to customers leaving, I've never seen any evidence of it.

This would be an irreversible step away from what the site once was. And it's the people that appreciated what this site originally was who lose out, while the people that would've been happy with a Brazzers style random scene generator subscription from day one won't care what was lost.

In the early stages of business planning for VIXEN, it was imagined as a lesbian site.

I also agree, somewhat, with your thoughts on initiative and position, as a fan of aggressive women there is a dreadfully small amount of it on these sites. And while there have been some brief glimpses of that it generally devolves into the woman's head being pushed down and under for some rimming and the dynamic of the scene shifting to the dominant male. I have no issue with that on its own, but when I get to see female 'a' and male 'b' in a scene where she shows the initiative and controls the pace that happiness sours for me when her head gets dunked down or when the energy of the scene flips with the male in charge.
