Therefore, I passed on my disappointment of how scenes from all three of Greg Lansky's sites had become incredibly dark and lacked the lighting they initially shot with. This was the response I received from their support team: "The only way we get better is through complete transparency and great communication with our customers. I spoke directly with Greg Lansky to get you the feedback below. We indeed explored different looks among our platforms to test a variety of approach. We feel that it's the only way to see if things can be improved or not. In this case we've decided to come back to the brighter more crisp look that you like with some improvements so give us a few weeks and the bright look that you love will be back. Thank you for being a member and for your support." Click to expand So there you have it! Apparently from Greg's mouth. They have been experimenting, but they plan to revert back to the brighter filming style which Blacked and Tushy initially started out with. I've seen quite a few issues named with the scene, some being the dull, sepia tone used for it, others being the camera angles and still others being the finish at the end due to lack of enthusiasm and adverse reaction by Ms. White. Can't say I disagree with any of that 100%. To be honest, I'm of the mind now that Lansky kind of phones it in and coasts with a lot of scenes. In some scenes, like the Marley Brinx one for instance, he pulls out all the stops. You see like a bunch of different, amazing angles in the missionary position. Then the next three scenes he uses the same 1-2 angles the whole time and doesn't ever zoom out the camera. It makes perfect sense, to be fair. Very few people give something their all 100% of the time. He's allowed to not put full effort in on some scenes and let the chips fall where they may. I'm still happy for all the great scenes he's put out and will be a lifetime fan of his work. [Link]

Click to expand My guess is the "darker" look is intended to appear more cinematic, like mainstream content you would see on premium cable or in the theater. Pretty much every mainstream show or movie does heavy digital color correcting, deliberately narrowing the palette. It doesn't necessarily make the image darker, but it does make it appear more soupy/foggy. It's a trend that has really gotten out of hand over the last decade. To their credit, in the last few months they have achieved what I would call a more mainstream cinematic look. It's as close to film as I've seen for a porn site. I think it's definitely good that they have pushed it in this direction for the sake of experimentation, but it's not one I am totally sold on yet. So I am inclined to agree with your request for them to revisit their roots. I think right now some better ways they can achieve a more cinematic feel is in the writing process. They do a great job as it is, far better than anyone else I can think of in terms of selling a plot, but I still think they could experiment a lot more. Also, a lot of these pretty models are clearly not professional thespians. There are some really cringey line deliveries here and there lol. I know it can't be easy finding a performer who can do it all on top of being gorgeous. I think Riley Reid is one of the best all around performers, in terms of looks, sexual performance, and acting. Click to expand I understand and agree with your interpretation in describing their scenes as a representation of cinematic filming, rather than just being darker. Some scenes or camera angles actually looked alright if the lighting was sufficient, but it is something I would certainly not like to watch on a regular basis. Perhaps Greg Lansky could add to his current brands with a new site in future, that concentrates releasing its scenes in this current cinematic filming style. [Link]

Basically Victoria Secrets models and not rap video girls. I suggested this myself and people were literally ready to throw their tablets and keyboards at me. I read things about them not wanting "fat girls" or "fat women" on BLACKED. I don't agree with them in the least and still like BLACKED. But having Maci in a scene would be great to see! [Link]

I'll never appear on a Lansky site because of my tattoos (even though I recently dyed my hair back to brown), and curves (even though I'm not fat, I weigh 130). I'm never going to be a size 2 and that's ok.
