Them removing it is one of the reasons I stopped subscribing month to month and now wait to subscribe until enough scenes pile up. It was a unique feature that was taken away. Like all the VMG sites the more they strayed from Lanksy's formula the more inconsistent they got.

I have my complaints but I'm not subbed, and my complaints are more towards the direction of these sites and their content. M
My complaint about the subscriber base though is that they seem to all demand for the most boring porn possible from a site that calls itself Raw.
You don't notice the drop in quality because you don't care. You let them decrease the number of scenes they release for everybody without even a corresponding price drop, because you don't care. They can cheap out on the casting, discard consistency, change genres from one update to the next, and you don't care.
Everybody loses out because of consumers with your attitude.
Anyway, we failed to establish whether you actually are a paying member the last time we talked. I'm still waiting to encounter any comment by you on any of the sites to prove you're active. As far as I remember, you couldn't even tell me what badge membership you held.
These sites used to be of a quality where the subscription was more than worth it and every other scene was an instant download.
Now people defending these sites tell people disappointed with the quality to unsubscribe and buy individual scenes elsewhere instead if they're good enough.
Yeah, it doesn't have to be like that but staying subscribed to a site that doesn't product you like and complaining here about doesn't do any good. Things change. If the site is going in a new direction maybe it's because they've decided that new direction attracts a bigger audience or is better for them. perhaps they feel it's better to go for a wider audience by being more generic than catering to a niche crowd. Regardless of the reason, if they're putting out content you no longer like it would make far more sense to voice your concerns on the actual site and if they don't respond or give you what you want you should absolutely cancel your subscription. Otherwise why expect them to change and why waste your money and time? I know people who come here and complain about sites don't want to hear people tell them to cancel but I just don't understand how anyone expects change by staying subscribed and coming here to complain is supposed to make things better.

I continue to criticize the company / sites because I believe they are wasting their potential, they've lost subscribers like me, and all the buzz around their sites has evaporated. I want their sites to be good. I want to give them money for a good product. They have decided that they want to expensively produce generic porn in an establishment format, with the self-indulgent pretence of awards-chasing artistry.
I don't believe that they think they're chasing a bigger audience. Laurent Sky was recently quoted as saying they'd changed their style in spite of what their subscribers actually want. What they're doing is entirely self-indulgent.
They've killed their brands, not expanded them. I heard Blacked being mentioned culturally in normie circles. Now I don't hear any mention. And why would anybody care about these sites that are now miserable, pretentious, inconsistent, have no identity and rarely create stars anymore?
You don't fix what wasn't broken. Nobody likes New Coke. Sadly, when it comes to these sites, some people will simply praise anything they release, others will just blindly hand over their money with no real care for what they produce as long as they enjoy occasional scenes, while others will keep handing over their money even though they're unhappy with what's being produced or the reduction in content.
But everyone loses out because people continue to indulge producers who have sabotaged the quality, consistency and style of once revolutionary sites and disrespectfully taken their subscribers for granted.

Well, it's good you unsubscribed. That speaks louder than anything. Losing subscribers/money is the surest way to get change. Once they or their higher ups see the new style/management is losing them money they'll start to pay attention and course correct if they have any brains. You made your concerns known to them and they ignored you so there's not much else you can do but leave if they aren't giving you what you want. Also, I just want to mention that I don't think you shouldn't complain or even complain here and let others know how you feel but I just see some many times people here complaining about the same thing for months and meanwhile keep supporting the site they're constantly complaining about. If you keep giving them money to make content you don't like they have no insentive to change or do better.

On the contrary, I do care. I watch scenes regularly from different years and they are very similar to me, albeit with directorial differences. It is because I still enjoy the content so much that I dislike these threads becoming constant negative comments.
As I said to you last time, I am a paying member. I just don't comment very often. I'm a gold badge, apparently. I seem to remember making a comment in Abigail Mac's first anal scene for Tushy, and Chloe Temple's scene for Tushy too.
As I said, I'm happy with the content. I still feel it reaches the high standards when the sites started under Lansky. But it can't be exactly the same because he's not there anymore. Change does happen, it just becomes a case of whether we can accept it or not. It's a shame that you can't, but that doesn't mean you have the right to call me a sucker for still being a member and enjoying the content.
It's just supposed to look like raw footage....it doesn't refer to anything extreme. Not to mention, there is way more extreme stuff available now than there is erotic or actually sexy stuff.
I think the 6 sites package deal is good value. Almost every day something new. And I actually prefer the look of Raw. I like how the lights put focus on the performers. But my point about your attitude stands. This site and the others have changed nearly wholesale since Lanksy's days. Casting, lighting, aesthetic, storylines, locations... the producers have openly boasted about changing the style contrary to what they believe their subscribers wanted... and the interracial sites regularly feature content that barely meets the genre of porn Lansky created these sites to feature. But you don't care.
And worst of all, you don't care that they're producing less content for your dollars, despite launching more sites and shovelling money at Deeper for Kayden Kross's increasingly overblown productions. And everyone loses out, because some subscribers simply don't care.
Lol. They cast Stefany Kyler and Talia Mint together for Tushy. But they cast Talia with a pale redhead and Stefany with a tanned dyed-blonde Spanish girl for BlackedRaw. Bizarre.
I've already explained that I do care, so we have reached an impasse on this. I don't feel like I'm losing out at all. I also like Kayden Kross' scenes and the Deeper site as a whole. To address the less scenes: we got a new site, so it probably works out as the same amount of new scenes across all the sites. As I have memberships to other non VMG sites as well, it would be impossible for me to watch every new scene on all the VMG sites with the reduced schedule, let alone the old one. Add that to the fact that I like to watch older scenes as well, that is why less scenes doesn't bother me. I still feel I am getting value for my money because the quality of the scenes is still what I would expect. These are still the best produced sites in porn in my opinion.
Worst of all, you don't care that you are making these threads so negative with your constant complaining, making the same points again and again and again. And you don't care that you are being rude about paying members. It'd be better for you to move on, but that isn't going to happen. So enjoy your crusade. I'll return to what makes me happy: fapping to the scenes that I still enjoy.
^ Not everyone is going to sign up for the network package. So if you sign up for one site you are getting less content and you are getting less content at a higher price too because they dont do the $10 a sale around the holidays anymore. I browse the comments on there (as a former subscriber they allow you to still sign in) and I dont think they have addressed the complaints about the reduced schedule.
Wrong. Updates every 5 days meant the previous 6 sites produced around 438 scenes a year. At one update a week the now 7 sites produce only 364 scenes. A deficit of 74 scenes a year. The fact that you don't even know that your subscription now cops you 17% fewer scenes, despite the "addition" of a new site really is definitive testament to your indifference. And as has already been pointed out, subscribers to the individual sites lost out even worse, losing 29% of their subscription content. Perhaps that has something to do with why threads that were once brimming with people saying positive things about these sites, admittedly between being a bit nitpicking and demanding, are now mostly negative. That ain't my fault. I'm not stopping anybody singing these sites' praises. Perhaps you can think of some other reason why the reaction to these sites has changed somewhat.
^ OK, so 74 scenes have been lost. I can understand why some might dislike that or leave their memberships, but as I have explained, for me I would only have seen around 1/4 of those scenes anyway. So what bothers me more is the quality of the scenes which I do watch. As I said, I still feel like I'm getting value for my money. Less value, for sure, but still value: since I already considered it excellent value before, it is great value now. The quality of the scenes is still excellent, for me, and that is why I can't understand the strength of the negativity. There are positive posts here still, they just get drowned out. All I will say is if the views in these forums were shared by most members, the sites would be in trouble. But they don't seem to be. You might say it is because members are sheep accepting less for the same money. I say it is because they are still delivering what I (and presumably most other members) want, albeit less of it (but still more than enough for my needs).
Also important to me when I consider value is access to the back catalogue, as well as new scenes. So I take that into consideration as well.
I've said all I feel I need to on this. We have differing views on the sites currently, and will probably never agree. But as long as the above and my finances remain the same, I will continue to be a member. That is my right, even if you disagree with it.
Unless you download everything at release day and you feel like you own those cause they're now stored on your harddrive, they add more value to the service at every addition. You don't have to watch only the most recent. I'm sure costs are also increasing on their side from this massive catalogue of videos on demand in various quality/resolution. I wish they'd focus more on quality not quantity.
