I live near a police station. I watch porn on my headphones on the TV. My question is can the police scanners pick up headphone audio?

Kperv, were you by chance kidding? Fingers crossed. I dont use wireless headphones, but I wonder what would be the difference between the two so that police can hear one but not the other.

You would be amazed at what a good parabolic microphone can pic up.

I assume that the "police scanner" you refer to is one of those CB-like boxes that ambulance chasers spend their lives huddled around waiting for their next fix? Those won't pick up headphones, wired or not, in their off-the-shelf configuration. However, they can be easily modified to pick up common frequencies used by cordless phones and other wireless items (like headphones).

But if you're not referring to this type of item and instead think that the police "scan" and listen for stuff traveling over the airwaves you might want to invest in a good foil covered construction helmet. These are also effective at preventing aliens from reading your mind.

Really? Are there certain brands of foil that are better than others? Do certain brands work better for some aliens and other brands that work better for other aliens? If so will multiple brands work well together? When combining multiple brands, do the foil sheets from the different manufacturers need to be parallel with one another or should they run perpendicular to one another?
