But I had never met her. She was the one person I was really looking forward to meeting. Tuesday night at dinner, I saw her sitting and texting. (I was scheduled to be at her table so it's not like I was interrupting her, lol). I slid in next to her, introduced myself and put my arm around her. She said, "Hi, nice to meet you," and that was it. I thought, 'Whoa! What did I do to piss her off?' A minute or so later, someone called my name and Carter's eyes lit up and she said, 'That's you? I thought you said you were Kevin!" We talked for the rest of dinner. Anyways, I talked to her a couple times at the show and, of course, we talked about the awards on Saturday. I told her there is no doubt she deserved Best New Starlet but, sometimes, strange things happen. We talked for a bit and just waited for Saturday night. When she won, she was so emotional on stage and I was a little emotional watching her. I texted her a congrats and later I saw her about to eat at one of the restaurants just as I was about to take off. I gave her a hug and she said one of the sweetest things anyone has ever told me. I'm not going to share it because it's personal. But Carter was everything I had hoped she would be and more. A very sweet girl who's career, both in and out of porn, is about to explode. [Link] |

There are companies/directors that shoot IR that she works for that don't do it in a racist manner. Mason doesn't. Jules Jordan doesn't, generally speaking. Mimefreak/ArchAngel doesn't, from what I've seen. Brazzers doesn't. Naughty America doesn't. Now maybe those people aren't the ones currently offering to do her first IR, and that's understandable. But to say that you shouldn't shoot IR because some companies choose to make it all about race is just backwards thinking. As an aside, I hate the fact that the "IR zealots" have made it to the point where this isn't even a discussion you can rationally have with a girl without someone branding you as one or one of them jumping into the conversation. But to say that they're "the only reason it's an issue" is wrong. It's an issue because we shouldn't live in a world where girls get paid more to do an IR scene than to do a non-IR scene, but we do.
