If it comes down to a trial. Choosing to change his name legally to War Machine is going to bite him in the ass. State Vs War Machine isn't going to get him much sympathy. At sentencing all his prior violence and convictions are going to send him away for a decade or more. I can't see him killing himself. He's talked about doing it, but if he hasn't already he's not going to. He needs to be the poor victim and tell everyone why it's all everybody elses' fault.

Maybe we should run a bet if he does or not.. :) Yes, I know, wishing a guy to kill himself is a bad thing and should not be made fun of. But this man, even if he gets 10 years, will eventually get out and harm another few women. There will always be a market for his attitude among the female population and he WILL do this again and again. The only way to stop it is permanent incarceration or death. The problem is he would have to do something even worse than CHristy to get permanent incarceration so it is best for society for him to take his life. I believe most people have a chance at rehabilitation, but this man will never ever be able to do that.

BTW to change one's name into something spectacular doesn't lead to a disturbed personality, Marvin Hagler added "Marvellous" to his name , I didn't seem to recall him in any story of domestic or public violence.

Aren't they able to do it even without her co operation? They have formally filed charges which means evidence has been submitted and approved and all that legal stuff. So if she decides to not pursue it, can't the legal system still take him down? It certainly wouldn't be a shock if she took the "blame herself" route and say something like "yeah, I was cheating on him and set him off. He really does love me... yadda yadda", as that would be consistent with her patterns. But , I can not fathom the legal system dropping something this severe just because she decides to reconcile with him.

Would be hard to convict him with no witnesses ( where is that mystery person he beat up before christy) his defense team will eat it up without christys participation

Well, she will get all kinds of heat if he gets off and she takes him back. This sounds like a Law and Order SVU episode and the girl ends up dead. I have been in strong support of her but if she drops this, he gets off, and she starts hanging out with him again then even I will have to give up on her and stop caring about her well being. He won't be able to make a penny for a long time so guess who would be paying the bills if they get back together. Gosh you have depressed me by even suggesting this man could get away with it. One of the reasons I am so active in this thread is I predicted this the moment I saw that property tattoo, as I had a strong sense of what War Machine was all about. It is just hitting me so strongly to see it all come true.

That whole " HE dumped HER" makes me believe this wont end well. SHE should have given HIM his walking papers and it should have happened long time ago. However, if he believes that she is his property and she does nothing to contradict that why should he treat her any different ......

If Dog ends up being the one to catch him (and it looks like it will be), and he documents it for his show, that will be his most watched episode in his lifetime. Edited by - earthwindfire on 8/13/2014 5:14:12 AM
that has been said by a person who think that violence against other men is not serious as violence against women, and that violence in a MMA ring is ok. It seems a bit contradictory to me. Edited by - leatherface on 8/13/2014 5:54:17 AM Edited by - leatherface on 8/13/2014 5:55:00 AM
"That whole " HE dumped HER" makes me believe this wont end well. SHE should have given HIM his walking papers and it should have happened long time ago. However, if he believes that she is his property and she does nothing to contradict that why should he treat her any different ......" how is she "gonna go back to him" when he's going to jail? how is she "gonna go back to him" when he's the one that broke up with her and she had apparently already moved on to somebody else? I mean, usually, I'd say that too, but it makes even less sense here. only someone really fucked up breaks up with somebody and still considers them property. . .right? They should have guards in front of that hospital room.
^^^ On war machines twitter. He says he was going to her place with an engagement ring. So I guess he wanted her back. If you believe that part of the story atleast.
She is a witness, and her testimony as well as his tweets should be enough to convict. He won't be charged with battery of the mystery person. Also, he has tweeted about another guy so it won't work for his defense to claim it's a fabrication & that it makes everything she says suspect. His tweets after the beating are a boon to prosecutors He's confirming and supporting a lot of her story He's leaving his defense with nowhere to go. They'll claim it wasn't him tweeting but the cops will certainly make progress in showing is was tweeted from his phone, near him, etc. She might not be a perfect witness with a perfect story, but she's likely to be a credible witness with a story that can withstand whatever the defense tries to throw at it. On the other hand, he's likely to be a disaster on the stand to the point I doubt the defense ever lets him testify. PS. It is harder but not impossible to convict if she won't testify. Courts generally don't allow hearsay but do allow "immediate outcry" testimony. And there is such a long history in domestic violence cases of victims protecting assailants that the court will be pretty lenient here as long as he can try to rebut everything.

It is very sad that this happened. I hope Christy gets well soon and Warmachine gets what he deserves!!!
Don't read any of the rest of her Twitter feed (or this post) then, because Shyla Stylez' idiocy is off the charts. Another repulsive tweeter said: "she wasnt acting like that when she was posting pics of those two in the bed together like they were happy together" Shyla's response: "exactly#victimblaming" And in other tweets she said: "I'm saying shut up about domestic issues" & "no1 seriously cares. It's just another sry lazy pornstar looking for attention. Blasting a man. Save it." It's mind-boggling how anyone can be that stupid.

^Yeah, I doubt I'll be reading any of her tweets in the near future. I don't necessarily need to like a person or hold that person in high regard in order to enjoy their work, but there are limits to my ability to compartmentalize.
Whether you know Christy or not, or are a fan or not. You aren't human if you don't care. It is a shame some of our own women industry responses. It's going to take a lot of healing physically and emotionally for her. I wish her a lot of love. Long road ahead but she will come out strong. Been there years ago so I know. If you can't give positive support, then just keep quiet. Catalina Cruz

Jrv : my comment was in response to the suggestion that she doesnt press charges. If she presses charges than yes you could get a conviction but if she forgives him ( like shes done in the past) and decides not to press charges than a conviction wont be as easy as you think

If this other person is another professional fighter will he really admit to getting beat up by war machine? Or will he try to see him when he sees him for round two

how anyone could have a problem with trying to raise money for Christy or anyone in this situation is beyond me...this isn't like some panhandler begging for change, this is someone who went through a horrifying ordeal no man or woman should have to go through...it's great to see that there are people who are making an effort to help Christy out...

We ARE talking bout war machine right? Someone really fucked up is an understatement. If he didnt still consider her his property why the fuck was he at her house to begin with? Maybe he left his Air Force 1s by the fireplace and was asking her to return them and when her friend question him he felt threatened and defended himself ...... Yea thats it
At the current time, the other male being an MMA fighter is only internet rumor. I haven't seen any articles that have stated this fact and Christy Mack denies this fact. Unless it comes out as true I see no reason to speculate on it. Even though the other male's name has not been released to the press, it is obvious that the police know the identity. Which means so will a prosecutor. He can be subpoenaed to testify at which point unless he can convince a judge to quash the subpoena, he has little choice in the matter.
I, for one, am happy to say that I donated to her cause and, since it is ongoing for another ~90 days, I will likely donate again. What happened to Christy is horrific. She is lucky to be alive. I have no qualms aiding in her recovery and helping her get back on her feet. I find it heartwarming that so many have contributed thus far.
Anyone else notice that when the site was established, the goal was $10,000, but then when people had given approx $17,000 and far surpassed the goal, the goal was raised without any mention to $100,000?

Well, based on her condition 10,000 was not enough anyways. They probably under estimated the support and so put up a humble number to start with.

Well, the "other guy" is some reality TV dude. Who he is really doesn't matter to me, but he did leave the scene knowing what was about to happen to Christy and didn't call 911. I don't know if that is a crime or not, but he will have to carry that shame with everyone who meets him.
I'm sure she wishes it was under better circumstances but last I checked Christy was trending #1 on Yahoo. Time has an article on how she actually gets much less sympathy for her domestic assault from people online because she is a pornstar. Good read. Can Social Media Ease the Shame of Being a Domestic Violence Victim?
Again, same question as before, can you site your source as to his actions? All you did was restate your original statement, which you are seemingly calling fact, yet as of now I have seen nothing on what he did printed anywhere.
That's a very common problem in domestic violence cases, and the cops and DA are used to it. If necessary they'll confront her on the witness stand with statements she made to hospital personnel, police that night, etc. It might have been a bigger problem but not with his mouth running on Twitter. Given what he's tweeting now I don't see he goes free even with her help - there's too much that would get a jury past "reasonable doubt".

Hi Guys I'm Shyla's support. Just to say some things clear guys. Shyla didn't meant anything bad or didn't wished anything bad to Christy. She only meant that Christy shouldn't post in public about it. She meant that Christy made a choice to date him. He may have issues but she choose that. Domestic issues should b kept private.(christy said in her story that he was doing it before) It was just about that and nothing more. It's not like Shyla is happy that Chirsty got beaten. Also month ago Shyla was wisting her friend in Wyoming and got attacked by man and woman for no reason just because she is Shyla Stlyez. She was beaten till asphyxiate. she had to went on therapy because she is scared and worry about safety. She wrote about this month ago on her twitter she posted all these pics. and no one even cared. She is very sad that no one cared. http://s16.postimg.org/x5xe7bmt1/aaaa222.jpg I'm in contact with her all the time, believe me guys she is really not in good mental condition now after what happened to her. She is not cold. All what i ask from u is show some understanding and not judge Thank you Edited by - SirPsychoSexy on 8/13/2014 3:04:58 PM
Welcome back song Yes i had seen those Shyla photos and she said she was beaten because "her kind were not allowed in" somewhere? I wanted to post that in the Shyla thread but did not. Well Shyla could have done the samrt thing and just not comment on this if she did not care. However i like a catfight so i am all for it and this makes me want to see Shyla come back to porn even more badly now!![:p)]

^^^Whether Shyla is actually a cold person offline or not, her recent tweets have nontheless been both cold and heartless. At least that's the impression I've gotten from those who've read them.. I don't think that anyone suggested that Shyla is happy about Christy's beating.
^ Well even though I disagree with her I can see how it may have worked , she has been attacked out of the blue visiting people, hospitalized , put her picture online talked about it and nobody cared , I mean wasn't even a news , even though it should have been a lot more louder than this of Christy. There's people out there who begun to attack those they don't like , it's even worse than a stalker , in this case you know what could happen and be prepared , the attack occurred to Shyla was unexpected, caught her completely off guard and could happen to any of the stars doing nothing else than walking around. So she saw no sympathy and nobody cared let alone raise funds for her healthcare , she's been left on her own. In the case of Christy she was in a predictable situation she even admitted already occurred a few times , this is only the worst one but was in a situation she has chosen (I mean to continue her relationship with him not to be beaten nearly to death) whereas Shyla didn't do anything of that sort Edited by - LCF on 8/13/2014 6:09:01 PM

I agree 100%. Couldn't have said it better myself. I also find it premature to be talking about him serving time in prison when he hasn't even been arrested yet. Whether or not he goes to prison, or how long he will serve even if he does go, depends on a lot of legal factors. Since I have no dog in this fight, it doesn't matter to me one way or the other if he gets caught. I never did like the guy, and made no secret of it, just as I made no secret of calling Christy an idiot for being with him (as well as other reasons). What I do find odd is all the people in porn who were friends with this guy, and would laugh and joke with him all the time on Twitter, despite the fact that they had to know what was going on, are now suddenly so opposed to domestic violence. I tell you, porn people are some of the phoniest people in the world. In any case, with as much money that's being offered, someone is bound to turn him in just for the reward. If only there were criminal rewards this high for criminals who actually kill innocent people, which happens everyday. Too bad those victims aren't pornstars with thousands of fans to throw money into a reward bucket.

^^^I understand Shyla's reasoning, but I don't think that provides any excuse for her cruel remarks (not to imply that you're excusing her). What's the point of calling out someone, especially another woman, who was beaten so badly? It's in incredibly bad taste. Honestly Shyla sounds more like a teenager than a grown woman. She should know better. Edited by - misspornUSA on 8/13/2014 7:19:31 PM
