I cant seem find 3 out at time and up deals that every online rental site does. Can some direct me to it? I nearly died when I seen $8 to rent single dvd and then shipping, lol, yeah right. They could possible only have that with all competitors doing 3 for under 20 thing?

Could you elaborate? Are you saying that it costs $8 to rent a DVD from XRent plus shipping or am I simply not comprehending the post?

I believe what madara is alluding to is the monthly flat fee schedules that many internet rental shops offer. For example, you can have 3 out at any give time for a flat monthly fee of $19.95.

This is common amongst mainstream DVD renters, and even some adult renters. I believe it is an attractive alternative to the per piece charges that XRent opts for, and have even discussed this in a previous thread.

I have thought about trying DVD Escape, which has a monthly rate scheme like Netflix. They appear to have a decent adult section in addition to mainstream titles. Anyone have any experience with this vendor?

DVD Escape is run by the same person who ran DVD Mirage.

I've tried an all you can rent website, first the selection is lacking, but those titles they do have they must only have 1 copy of. I can never get what I want, and this is for titles that they had for many months. The problem is that they don't say what they do or don't have in stock. I'm sure that's because if they did, everything is out of stock. At least with xrentdvd, they show everything up front. No bullshit, what you see is what you get. If it's out of stock, the site says so. Pricey? Perhaps at little on the surface. But factor in selection (never a week that I've seen where they didn't have 50 new titles), service (which is very good btw), ease of website use, and availability... I'll stick with xrentdvd .

I'm just tired of sites using smoke & mirrors (not limited to adult, I've got a big axe to grind here).

It's too bad that they don't have more product for sales though, they only sell what they have for rental it seems.

And when can we expect xrentdvd to go subscription???

Madara,

Give WantedList.com a try. $20/month for 3 at a time. You might be able to get in 7 or 8 movies in a month. (Maybe more if you are quick!) I was with them for about 6 months. They have a good selection from many studios (I was looking for alot from Private, and they have a quite a few titles from them. Same goes for Hustler, Digital Sin, etc.)

They are a little slow with new titles. The speed of delivery was always fine, and good turn-around time. You do need to stock your rental list (queue) with at least 8 or 10 so they can always ship yourone, when they get a return of yours.

I also tried SugarDVD.com. I didn't care for them much. Most titles seemed to be out of stock.

Another DVD rental site you could try is DVDOvernight.com (they rent mainstream and adult) which rents for 3 or 4 bucks per title (I think shipping is free.) I've had good luck there too.

Any others?
