Full disclosure - I have very little experience with OF. I've joined two OF threads(?) in the past few years and found both of them to be really lacking. One was with an A-list superstar too. Short, low-res videos shot on a cell phone don't cut it.
It reminds me of how porn stars used to go on the road and strip. Maybe they still do that. The idea was that a star could make a ton of money as a feature dancer but needed porn to generate that name recognition. In a sense, OF is like that but it also breaks the bargain that the feature dancing had with the audience. The star had to give top-tier performances in her movies to generate her stardom, but she would also have to give top-level performances and interact with her fans while feature dancing otherwise her fans wouldn't continue to support her. There was a bargain - fans gave her their hard-earned money and she had to deliver a top quality performance. That sense of a bargain between performers and fans seems to be missing from OF.
There is or was a radio program/podcast by an advertising professional about the ad business. He said something years ago that stuck with me. He pointed out that ads used to have a bargain with the audience. I'll watch your ad but you have to make it entertaining. A good example are the classic Volkswagen ads, both print and TV. This guy said that advertisers stopped making creative ads that would also entertain and thereby broke the bargain. I guess that isn't such a big deal now that we can PVR shows or skip ads altogether with platforms like Netflix.
Totally agree with this. News sites even worse, with banner ads that are scrolls of text, animated to catch your eye, but nothing else. But to be fair to the advertisers, they are required to make dozens, if not hundreds of variations per campaign, to be endlessly tested and learned from the data. Modern marketers forgot branding is the goal of advertising. An ad's impact wanes over time, so you create new ads but keep the branding/message consistent. The ad may wane, but the branding thrives.
Old way, Ad 1 - "Nothing is more reliable than a Toyota" Ad 2 - "Nothing is more reliable than a Toyota" Ad 3 - "Nothing is more reliable than a Toyota"
Today, Ad 1 - "Nothing is more reliable than a Toyota" Ad 2 - "Go green with Toyota" Ad 3 - "Not your father's Toyota"
Branding is hard to quantify in the analytics, so the marketer is stuck with making up KPIs that can be measured and the managers satisfied with. Hard for the marketer to say, "look, the direct traffic to your site has gone up. that means the branding is working".
It's like how cops are measured on how many arrests they make - it can be easily counted and attributed to the police officer, instead of measuring the overall decrease in crime (and subsequently decrease in arrests) of an area through police patrols and community outreach.

I was watching a movie by an award-winning starlet that everybody on here loves and was thinking about this post the whole time. They're a couple of big-name stars that I feel are super overrated and only getting by on their looks and age. I don't see them being in the business in 3 years

On the topic of Jenna Haze, 3rd Degree Films and Zero Tolerance Films are back and under the Gamma Entertainment umbrella. A lot of their back catalogue is available and I was able to fill some gaps in my collection of older titles from both studios. It was great to be able to get some scenes from superstars like Jenna Haze and Taylor Rain that I had been missing.
If you're into porn from the early 2000s then this is worth checking out. But they make new stuff to with today's crop of superstars and that's worth a membership too.

I've called her out a couple of times already, I'm not trying to start shit but I'm not a fan at all. It's Gianna Dior, Psychosexual was boring as fuck and I almost fell asleep on it. Somebody else, I'm not feeling but need to watch more of to really judge is Emily Willis. Her scenes with her in a 3some are bad, she does nothing but sit around and let the other woman do all the work.

^I'm a big fan of Emily, you should watch more of her. I honestly think she's the closest thing to Jenna herself in modern porn. Some scenes I'd recommend are her Pervcity scene with Michael Stefano, Barrier with Seth Gamble for Deeper and Slut Puppies 13 with Steve Holmes for Jules Jordan. I know you said that you don't think her threesome scenes are any good, but I'd also recommend her scene with Rocco and Alina Lopez from Rocco's Back to America For More Adventures for Evil Angel. Bit a mouthful of a title, lol. I haven't seen enough of Gianna to make a judgement. but what I have seen I've liked. Check out any of her scenes with Manuel or Steve Holmes.

Jenna who? Jenna Jameson, hahaha. Talk about overrated pornstars, hahaha. Now you're just busting out super gonzo stuff, which I'm not into at all. Gianna was in a scene with Manuel and it was weak as fuck. I'm sorry but pounding, double anal, and anal gapes doesn't make you a great pornstar or show you have any real depth in your performance. Look at somebody like Angela White, she makes every scene special, she'll have scenes with 3 or 4 guys and she keeps eye contact with each one of them. She always looks like she's into and trying her best to cum. Or somebody like Aiden Ashley, a body type I'm not into at all but her scenes are fucking amazing. Carter Cruise is another one who's great at this too but I love her body. I don't feel this at all with Gianna, her scenes are all moans and some body movement. I don't think I've seen a scene where she has one real "orgasm"(at least one that looks real). Everything is very fake and porny and it's what I hate about porn.
Also, Seth is cool but the rest you named are just rough sex Europeans, who just pound on women and make the scene all about them. Some are great like Manuel and Rocco but all are very much past their prime. Steve Holmes is really over the hill and needed to retire three years ago.

Jenna Haze turns 40 today. Still hot af, it's honestly unreal. If Jenna were ever to come back (never gonna happen), it would be like she had never left. The woman just refuses to age.

^I'm not sure how recent that photo is tbh. Jenna still does photoshoots and she's doing a birthday sale for her fleshlight, so this could be a part of that. I've certainly never seen it before, but either way, it's certainly no more than a couple years old. As for Jenna not enjoying her time in porn, that's not true. I've already addressed this before. She DID say this in a tweet way back in 2013, which she has since deleted when I asked her about it years later. She never answered why she posted that tweet in the first place, so that's still a bit of a mystery I suppose. I just believe she was trolling fans who kept on asking if she would ever return to porn. Fans still ask her this now! If you want to hear Jenna talk about her time in porn in her own words and not some random deleted tweet she sent out years ago, I suggest you watch her interview with Holly Randall from 2019. If you come away from that interview still thinking Jenna hated her time in porn, I'd be very surprised.
She looks phenomenal, I follow her on instagram and she doesn't look her age at all. She doesn't seem like she'll ever come back, but you never know, Tori Black came out of her retirement for those scenes for blacked, vixen after so many years... Anyway, a return is not necessary, her work is quite extensive and I think it would only be worth it if her return was to do something that she has never done, such as VR videos.
