On Videobox, when there is a new DVD featuring a scene about Hailey Paige, someone must always comment on how it is disresepctful to watch her in a scene, and the same goes with any dead star. My thinking is it is not disrespectful to watch and enjoy a scene with a star who has passed on. To me, she (or he) did this as thier job, msny enjoy the work, and from my understanding, giving people enjoyment through there performances is something fullfilling. To not watch just because she is dead seems almost more disrespectful. Personally, I sometimes cannot watch a scene with a dead performer. Take the case of Hailey Paige - if my mind gets to thinking how she is gone, and that a life has been lost, probably tragically so, I can't get turned on by it. I don't know about everyone else, but masturbating while sad doesn't work for me. Other times though, I can just put all that out of my head and enjoy. If there is anyone out there who get turned on even more because a performer is dead (and I am sure there is somewhere), I think there may be a problem. I would love to hear everyone's thoughts. If the death was caused by suicide, I'd feel guilty about being aroused by a scene where I know the star is no longer with us. It make you wonder if the suicide was caused by not being able to handle the industry, etc (ie. drugs, etc.). Nevertheless, I can't watch anything with Hailey Paige now, even though she was one of my favorites. Same goes with someone who's died from Aids. If they seemed liked they loved being in the Industry but died from something that would be somehow connected to the industry (ie. a car crash or un-related medical), then I'd probably would feel less guilty. One example would be Britney Madison. Although her life was tragically cut short because of a car accident, she looked like she loved sex and loved being in the industry (plus her scene were usually soooo awesome, like the first Good Source of Iron).
