^ Maitland Ward's performances aren't even that bad and I have seen real passionate sex scenes and great acting from her, just watch Muse 2 and don't just skip to the sex scenes. I've seen a lot worse in modern porn films, Maitland Ward is a lot better than most of the young top pornstars in the industry. She's not screaming all over the place and the dirty talk makes sense in the role she's playing. I think some of y'all just hate on her because some folks still look at her as an outsider, she's done her time and been putting out great work with Kayden Kross.

Manuel isn't great at playing with others. Even in his orgy scene with Deeper he had problems staying hard with Maitland and Angela both spending time trying to fluff him on the side. It's best he just does one on one scenes

Ok so I just watched this Drift trailer, also happens to be the first trailer I've watched from this series, with sound on...
and jesus christ, I'm not even criticizing the performances here, but just aesthetically, thematically, from a filmmaking perspective, wtf is even going on?
Even the acting is all over the place, but these performances are what the director is driving at, so it's not the actors to blame.
Like is it supposed to be emulating a noir aesthetic? or is it 80s slasher films? Everything just seems like a mishmash.

I criticized the aesthetic, the music, the performances.
You don't need to watch 10 Fast and the Furious movies to understand the aesthetics and the mood it invokes. You can watch any one of them and understand the vibe it's going for.
for argument's sake I watched ep 4 trailer and ep2, and it's the same, it's all over the place... there's no thematic coherence, there's no aesthetic coherence, the music is jarring, the sound effects are loud and bombastic and feel out of place, the acting is cringy.

What's wrong with watching the whole thing in its entirety like a normal movie, I do it all the time. If you watch it just to jack off, why do you even care about the plot or other stuff you're complaining about, just spend 10 minutes watching the DP and move on. P.S. Me telling you to watch the movie first or watch more then one trailer in order isn't me white knighting and defending it.

Because it's porn, lmfao, something that both the director and you don't seem to understand. Its first and foremost job is to turn you on. The plot is simply an additive, not the requirement.
But if it's trying to be more than just porn (and if it requires watching it in its entirety for whatever reason), then we're going to critique it like we would a regular movie.
So in that vein, if someone released a similar trailer for the Avengers franchise or F&F, it would absolutely be ripped to shreds for the tone being all over the place.

You keep shifting your goalpost first from "oh you haven't followed it, so you don't know what's going on" to now "you need to watch every second of every video and read the lore and follow Maitland Ward's lifestory up until this very second".
You also don't seem to know what a trailer is supposed to do if you don't think it's representative of the full work.
Even funnier that you keep raging about plot and story when that's the exact reason i'm critiquing it like I would a regular-film (which I mentioned in my last post)
I like Amber Moore but I was hoping they'd complete the Video Secrets saga that people have been waiting for (If the next one is Avery Cristy) when they dedicated Sept to Drift.

I hope I'm not wrong but from the preview next scene seems like Avery Cristy. The colours in the preview looks the same as in the other two scenes from the "Video Secrets" series, the girl is blonde and pretty much looks like Avery, so I think there is hope to see her next week on Deeper.
I don't understand why they keep on this shitty rag around the actresses waists for the whole scenes. They do it sooo often... It covers the body and it's super unsexy. It can be seen from the preview that the next scene have it too... I really can't see what is the idea of that.
^ I don't agree. It adds texture and flair. In terms of sex it makes it look spontaneous and lustful. CFNM, CMNF are terms you should lookup. A lot of people find it sexy.
I dont get it either. I know Deeper is its own thing and a bit different than other VMG sites but to me what drew me to the Lansky sites was the nude aesthetic and I don't get why the other directors seem to throw what to me was a uniqueness of VMG. ^ I haven't been following the plot but I hope it's Avery's first BBG scene. Something tells me this mini-series may have been the last couple of scenes she shot for VMG.
This part 3 trailer and if I recall correctly the previous episodes doesn't give any hints about the part 4. We know only the performers: Kenna James, Lilly Bell and Seth Gamble in part 1; Lilly Bell and Anton Arden in part 2; Avery and Seth Gamble in part 3. I think there are no other performers involved in this series, so the series finale could be a mix of these ones if not all.
I agree with you, Avery's first BBG scene will the icing on the cake of this series 🤞
In this scene like in her recent Tushy scene Avery is completely shaved (the Tushy scene was recorded for sure last March in the Caribbean), while in the Slayed orgy she has a landing strip as we can see in her twitter and OF posts since April. So yes this one and possibly part 4 could be her last BG scenes shot for VMG, but they were shot for sure before the Slayed orgy.
In the photos and in the trailer she also looks a less "thick" than she currently is, so it could have been recorded in the second half 2021.
Even she doesn't seems VMG exclusive anymore according to her social media bio, I hope she keeps performing BG from time to time for VMG, not only in GG scenes.

I'm happy with the fact that the scene was shot long time ago. Although I like her now too, I think she was even sexier is her skinnier period. The date on Set's laptop in the scene says "Tuesday, April 5". I hope that we gonna see her again in the 4th and last part. The best scenario is Avery being solo with the two guys - Anton and Seth.
You can see a clip of it at 0:17 seconds in this video, but it's not on any of her 3 Deeper videos currently released. Is it possible there's an unreleased scene?
