First of all, that's stupid because obviously it is simulated. But, I never hear people complaining about simulated rape porn, or crying fowl about it before or after. Secondly, it wasn't even simulated rape, or assault. In fact, it never made any implications about female characters wanting the males to stop when they were facing "redemption". They did not behave as if they were bring raped, they instead often took their "punishment" quite willingly, and in quite consenting fashion. If anything, the scenes simulated toxic relationships between submissive natured women and slightly semi-psychotic aggressive impulsive men. There's something kind of fucked up about that, yes, but I fail to see how it is a big deal in the realm of fantasy. Especially when legit simulated rape porn exists, and I don't hear anyone crying about that stuff. What made Porn Star Punishment so bad that it needed to be pulled? Do you think the scenes were "immoral"? Why is some fully consenting and completely simulated porn considered "immoral"? [Link] |
