Let's compare today's porn with porn with 70, 80 and 90. Immensely love the actresses of the past, now put the porn is more animalistic, wilder, the actresses swallow large amounts of sperm, piss, spit, gag to do oral sex, has extreme gape exposing their delicious holes, etc .... Old porn was much too light ..... nobody choked in oral, there was gape, etc .... actresses not gargling sperm .. ... we will comment on it.
"Imagine a sky paradise of infinite porn actress delicious.."

I'd say the biggest difference between now and then is that now a lot more ladies are open-minded about having anal sex with guys.
I remember watching a gang-bang series film called Star Bangers. Samantha Strong was the lady to take on 5 or 6 guys. This film showed you what happened, when Samantha Strong first laid her eyes on these fucking guys. She basically yelled at them that she will walk right off the set, if any one of them tries to go anal on her. And she yelled at these guys like she meant it too. This was no joke.
I was surprised that these guys didn't lose their erection for her right there and then. Samantha didn't look or sound friendly with these guys at all.
But now it's unthinkable to have a gang-bang for a pretty lady, without any anal sex for her. Of course the guys will go anal on her. This isn't even a question. And the lady doesn't yell at the anal guys either. She welcomes their dicks with open ass-cheeks.

One of the first things that come to mind is the prevalence of features/vignettes in the porn of yesteryear. After all, Gonzo porn as we know it really only started to emerge in the 90's.
As far as features are concerned, I feel like the sex scenes in 70's/80's films blended into the stories better than they do sometimes today. That is to say that part of the story was told through the sex scenes rather than the story simply being a vehicle by which the actors reached the sex scenes.
And the sex scenes seemed to be significantly shorter back in the day. In my view, it seems the average sex scene was only around 5-10 minutes long in days gone by. Today, sex scenes last upwards 20 minutes in a lot of cases.
Another thing worth mentioning is that you rarely see a stand alone blowjob/fingerbang/cunnilingus/masturbation/quickie fuck scene worked in to a story. Today, they almost all go by the numbers - oral, fuck, pop.

I prefer the 70s and 80s porn. The women were more natural looking and the sex was less about show and more about actual pleasure. Most of the women were average looking but when there was some exceptional bodies like Christy Canyon or Nina Hartley they really stood out because not many had surgeries done to modify their bodies.
There's been a continuous ramp upward from the 90s until now of all the aesthetics of porn narrowing down. The women do not look natural, everyone has giant fake breasts or fat injected asses and the direction of the movies is basically the same formula. There are some exceptions but not many. Its hard to be original when the status quo is followed so faithfully.

I prefer the classics but have to disagree about the fake tits, etc. That was true in the 90s but a much widers range of body types are promiment in modern gonzo porn, Gianna Michaels or more recently Siri for instance.

BlackSix - I'm pleased to see that there are more women of natural and varying body types emerging and I love it.
The only issue I have is the prevalence of bad tattoos. I say that meaning this...
There are tattoos that are true works of art that I find quite beautiful.
But what was once the occasional tramp stamp or ankle tattoo has proliferated into a lot performers (including some of the studs) being covered in bad flash art that looks awful on anyone that doesn't also sport knife-fighting scars.

I suspect that a lot of old porn has already been lost forever. Because the shelf-life of a VHS tape is 8-12 years, and experts recommend transferring it to digital media within 5 years to prevent deterioration in quality.
http://www.simplevideoediting.com/video-tape-shelf-life/54/
It's a pity that copyright stands in the way of preserving old art-works. Future generations will probably think of us as fools to lose such valuable stuff just because of some rules. They'll probably call our age, the age of bureaucracy that lacked common sense.

I prefer porn from the last thirteen years. Something happened around 2002, and it goes on still like the rising of our time; good looking natural talent shows up and have much to put on the table and I'm not talking wild growing bushes, shame, doubt and shy, reluctant behaviour. They just go all in with everything like if they didn't need to learn nothing like they just have it and have listened a lot to Cindy Lauper and have had gym instead of historyclasses in school. And they just have it, too. They may leave soon for different reasons, but they're still there. I saw a scene from Pure 18 vol 26 I got a few weeks ago, the first one was not functionable, so I got another one DVD sent over from Adult Empire, it had this remarkable creature Sienna Splash in it, so there were good reasons to complain and beg. She jumped backwards landing steady on her feet like she could do it in her sleep. That's just talent and boy did she went wild minutes later. Stuff like this was not possible to get in the past. Everything was kinda staged. Nowadays it may be staged stuff, but there wasn't much In the VIP or Carwash Orgies or whatever Double Play or Creampies series rolling back then in the VHS era. And you had to rely on the big names. Now you can rely on the very fact that you'll get what you wanna have if you just give it focus enough and will be willing to pay. And the surprises will be added like seasoning always. No wonder porn from the last thirteen years tastes better. Axl Rose had so much right in his song 14 Years made in 1991. It just couldn't be made today. Neither could Rolling Stones' Satisfaction. The last one is just not playable no more.

The biggest difference I see is the prevalence of gonzo shooting style. In old porn, the camera/director had a different approach. They were focused on capturing the scene, to deliver a good production to the home viewer who is not able to be there in person. And the performers were doing a performance, knowing they have to pretend it is real life, they take on the roles of characters interacting with each other and they pretend the camera is nonexistent. In the new gonzo style of porn, the camera/director is himself immersed into the middle of the scene, and the performers are interacting/performing for/with the person who is holding the camera. So, the home viewer is ignored. Ignored by the performers, and ignored by the cameraman. This results in a different feel, a different presentation, a different product. I think this accounts for the prevalence/popularity of POV. Now that the camera is the main "character" then the goal is for the camera/cameraperson to experience being inside the scene, and (by association) to put the home viewer inside the scene, rather than watching the scene as an uninvolved non-participating observer. This is why there are fewer full-body shots. Because you need to stand back in order to capture a full-body shot. And in normal human interaction, it is unnatural to stand apart from someone with whom are collaborating. Occasionally the porngirl will motion to the camera(man) to come closer. Because he is standing unnaturally far away from her. She is not saying "come closer" to the home viewer. She is saying "come closer" to the camera(man). And he cannot say "I can't come closer because that will be too close and ruin the framing I'm trying to do right now". He can only oblige. So now, instead of the home viewer seeing her full body or half-body, we are now seeing only her face. And we are at the mercy of the cameraman to decide to aim the camera at different places around to show us other parts of her body. But only briefly, because now human nature takes over, and he will have to return to showing her face. Because it is unnatural to look at a woman's legs, or butt or whatever, if you are 2 feet away from her face right in front of you. Or in the case of POV, it is difficult/unnatural to look at anything other than your own cock or the girl's face. Also again there is the technical problem of being too close to do much else than show one of those 2 things.

I think there are many differences between old porn and current porn. Many of the diffrences are subtle and some are more obviously noticable. It's not that different than most forms of entertainment where it changes with the culture, moods of the audience, time, technology and the need to keep things from getting stale.
Long story short..as time passes porn becomes much more about becoming over the top performances than actually filming what tried to pass for something that resembles actual sexual encounters. I don't think that's a bad thing but most people seem draw different lines at when that's gone too far or hasn't gone far enough. I think in the 70s porn scenes were about the audience secretly watch two people having a sexual encounter. In the 80s it was more about secretly watching a pretty girl have sex and the scenes became alittle longer. In the 90s it all about watching a hot/sexy girl who looked like she wanted/needed sex and the scenes became longer and "prettier" to watch. In the early 2000s porn had the hot girls and so the emphasis changed to the sex acts and the sex became harder/kinkier and more creative. In the later 200s the girls are more or less sexbots and a lot of the sex is all about how much and how many things you can do to the sexbot.
Of course that's generalizing and not all porn is about or does what I mention in each era. I don't think any era is really flat out better than another because it mostly depends on what the veiwer is into. There's some appeal and downsides to each era. I personally wouldn't want to see porn get any "harder" than it is now because I like seeing the women enjoying sex and with some of the "sexbot" porn we're seeing less and less of that. I also think of sex as something a guy does with a woman not something a guys always does to a woman.
But there's no real reason to complain about much of anything because there's plenty of all kinds/types of porn for people who are into different things.

current porn just gets weirder and nastier. 10 years ago i would never have thought somebody would be willing to stuff two dicks in one hole on camera. yet, here we are with topics about painful ass fuckin and double anal penetration. where is the line drawn? or is there a line? whats next? some of the things in porn today not only disgust me but makes me wonder about how anybody could find this stuff arousing.

I see it time and time again in thread after thread on here; why can't some people just accept that others' tastes are different from theirs? If you don't like 'extreme' porn, don't watch it.

I think a part of it is that with so much cheap and free porn out there some people can watch so much more of it and they just get bored with it quicker and they want the next extreme act because they're bored with the last one. Some of the extreme stuff isn't even sexual but just "How much can a guy(s) to to her". And as I mentioned before many viewers see the girls as "sexbots" and not really actual people so they don't care if she's in pain or enjoying it or not because she's just a thing to do things to. There's lots of stuff I'll never get. I don't find gaping and anal prolapse to be sexual at all and I still find it hard to look at. Gagging holds no apeal to me. Slapping and spitting are a big turn off. Lots of it just seems to be men angry at women. But the girls agree to it and there's andience for it and I can easily avoid it...so I guess "it is what it is".

In the old days it was about the industry, people believed in what they were doing now it is about money..some people like Rodney Moore, Peter North, Rocco, LT, Lex still make great product but mainly it is about a buck.

I agree with those who said that anal is a big difference. In the '70s and '80s, anal was pretty rare, and stuff like gaping and ass to mouth or ass to pussy basically nonexistent. Today, anal is just about expected, and ATM is normal. Yes, the bodies now are leaner and the pussies are shaved, etc. But the thing that is most noticeable to me is that most girls today will bend over, speard the cheeks, and take a hard cock up their rectum. 15, 20, 30 years ago, that was a rarity.

Sticking multiple dicks in gaped women's asses then making them eat the fecal infused sperm is on its way out. 2020+ porn will be sticking dicks through gauged ear holes or better yet making new holes on the fly where men can add their pee and cum into the bloody mix.

Yes, and it's not just more women willing to have anal sex nowadays. The anal sex for ladies is now better quality and it usually lasts longer too.
Straight-to-anal, all-anal scenes were unheard of in the past. So much anal sex for the lady was seen as the guy taking advantage of her. Even porn ladies wouldn't let guys be so anal with them.
But now you get whole series of films devoted to all-anal sex for the ladies. Mike Adriano is pretty good at this. And the Anal Freaks series is another good example.
Of course, it's easy to criticize the past and not see the present with the same critical eye. There is still a lot of prejudice against anal porn even now. The name 'Anal Freaks' for the recent all-anal series wasn't chosen by accident. It refers to women who let guys go straight-to-anal, all-anal on therm.
Nobody calls women 'Pussy Freaks', when they have all-pussy sex with guys. But 'Anal Freaks' is what women are called, when they let their guys have "too much anal sex" with them.

The big difference between then and now is and was the girl's motivation for doing porn. Yeah, one can compare pubes, types of scenes, length of scenes, and things like that, but dig deeper and look at the industry from its perspective then and now. Today it's just a product put out by a company where as back then it was a money laundering vehicle for the mob.

In a way I miss stories. God...I remember going to theaters or Drive-Inns to watch movies like Outlaw Ladies, Nasty Girls (the scene with Barbara Daniels is classic), and anything with Veronica Hart. It was more exciting when porn was less accessible and you had to drive to the seedy side of town to get your fix. As time progressed gonzo and reality porn became the thing - I remember how exciting it was for me at least to watch a silly Dark Bros movie and then to watch those early Buttman films. One thing I do love that started in the late 90s is the inclusion of 'big butts' in porn which was absent in the 80's and most of the 90's. As a fan of the genre and women with a large rear I was happy to see any movie within this line. However as time moved on I'm to the point now where I'm practically desensitized to a lot of adult content.

If you read Eric Schaeffer's book on porn in the 70s in Reefer Madness he comes to the conclusion that porn wasn't a source of money laundering for the mob but a side source of revenue like prostitution. And of course that had practically nothing to do with the women's motivations in the 70s. Certainly the usual desire for attention/fame and money were motivations back then but so was a very 60s (perhaps naïve) countercultural attitude.

I think people's motivations haven't changed that much over time. What has changed is the freedom people have to act on their motivations.
People have been making porn for thousands of years. Most of it has been lost. But you can still find some ancient porn statues of people having sex in India and some other places.
People now have more freedom to make porn than they had in 1960s and 1970s. A part of this increased freedom comes from better and more media technology, including the Internet. And the laws for making porn are now more relaxed than they were before.
But this increased freedom isn't something you automatically get to keep forever. Governments and people can take away this freedom in the future, the way it happened in the past in other societies. Porn is now illegal in India, even though they still have those historical porn-statues.
It might seem a little hard to believe that porn might become illegal in USA some day. But you need to remember that the people who live now won't be there in the future. And new people make new choices, without necessarily following in the footsteps of their ancestors.

That's one POV, another from what I've read is that a porn theater was great for money laudering because it was cash business with lots of cash coming in in small batches that record keeping was easy and very lax. Porn in the 70's was very underground and hush hush so the attention/fame aspect was irrelevant compared to the "porn almost being a commercial for feature dancing/escorting" Yeah, the girls might have been looking for attention, but not the "look at me, look at me, I'm doing porn" type. It was more of "I need to be accepted by someone" kind of attention and supposedly porn had that one big family aspect of misfits aspect. Annette have said as much in a interview in a one of the releases I reviewed a few years back.

I agree about the band of outsiders aspect, you find that in a number of interviews. I do recall an interview with the head of the FBI's MIPORN who said he felt that porn was something the mob bosses gave to their dimest sons and nephews to handle.

Cameras were much bulkier way back when and the closeup wasn't easy to film. Now cameras are small, easily held in one hand so the guy banging the gal can hold a camera while 'in the saddle.' A cameraman can easily extend his arm since the camera is light and they can be placed on the end of poles and can reach hard to get to places.
Older films have appeal. The ladies often had their natural pubic bushes, most ladies today shave 'down there.' There was far fewer tattoos and bleached hair. There was less boob jobs, more acted out scenes, costumes, dialog, and softer lighting.
The Golden Age had story lines, some were amusing and some were well done. Filming facial expressions was the norm since cameras were shoulder-held and hard to get into position for the closeups seen today. Ass to mouth was unheard of, anal didn't become popular until the middle 1980's.
I have more than 2500 VHS tapes, a few must be collector items. They aren't easy to watch anymore, the fast forwarding and rewinding, the mechanical clunkiness of VHS tapes has it's annoying aspects. A friend gave me a bunch of 8mm and Super 8 mm stag reels but I don't have a projector. That stuff is hard to watch anyway, the production values are bottom of the barrel. From a historical standpoint it's interesting to watch porn WWII guys watched via projector.
I have a bunch of Playboy magazines from the 1960's but it's all boobs and butts, more like erotica than porn.

For me the biggest difference is the increase in picture quality and generally better (less gratuitously stupid) camerawork. Some of the old pre 2000 porn is great but innevitably the picture quality compared to modern stuff makes it less satisfying.
I prefer women all natural and hairy but otherwise todays porn is excellent and like a buffet with everything on offer you can just watch what appeals.

An obvious answer is the improved video (resolution, quality, color, etc).
That said, there seem to be a good number of golden age stars that aspired to be mainstream actresses - Harry Reems (among others) comes to mind. Most of the films back then had some kind of story line, as well as some actresses who could ostensibly act. Annette Haven and Jesie St James strike me as performers that could have been mainstream actresses. John Leslie, on the men's side, as well.
Films were made for the big screen; not for the VCR/DVD player.
Seems to me, it might have been Ginger Lynn who was the biggest catalyst for change. She was so beautiful and popular in the mid -late 80's that a porn plot became less and less necessary. Porn viewers just wanted to watch Ginger in action. Christy Canyon and Tracy Lords ushered in gonzo (before it was actually called gonzo) as well, but not to the extent that Ginger did.

I'm going to be 40 this year. I actually started renting under age in the late 80s. There was a video store right in walking distance of my school (Catholic school no less). They'd let anyone rent who had a membership card and money of course.
From the 1980s to the late 2000s, the VHS and DVD covers sold the movies. The cover girls were true porn stars, but there was also a great cast of supporting cast girls who all could have been cover worthy in these decades. It seems like there were also endless amounts of hot looking girls over this time period.
Now let's fast forward to 2015. If my life depended on it, I couldn't begin to tell you who would be considered the top star these days. Like everyone else, I have access to all kinds of porn on my phone 24 hours a day. For most new releases I will actually pay to access AEBN. None of the girls these days seem special or memorable. It's not a judgment, just my perspective and opinion. I seemed to keep up better on the "who's who" in the old days with no internet by going to the video store and seeing box covers with the cast list on the back. Girls these days just seem to blend and get lost in the shuffle. No one really stands out to me to come back and want more content from them. (I don't know how active they are in 2015, but I do like Danni Jensen and Proxy Page.)
To me the late 80s to early 2000s ruled. I guess that's to be expected because that was my youth/my generation. You had countless stars. The movies gave you fun storyline and characters with hot sex scenes.
I have seen plenty of 1970s films. The person who said the scenes were too short was correct. I would watch them and think to myself: "That's it? What was the point?"
And I know that times change and I'm getting old when I'll look up scenes of my favorite stars I grew up with on the free sites and I see how old and dated the video quality is. LOL.
My buddies and I used to snicker at the old timer porn fans who'd say the girls of the 90s didn't impress them compared to the girls of "their day" in the 70s and early 80s. Now I seem to have become just like those old timers.

As a black man & a 75/25 IR/Vanilla viewer. Smut has gotten so much better since say, 1999. I didn't turn 18 until 2000 but like most of us my viewing started from pilfering my dad's collection. So I did have some appreciation for the 70/80s smut. Taboo, Devil in Miss Jones, sweet throat....I remember all these.
But IR was a rarity back them. Around Y2K, the IR genre took off. You had Lex killing the AVN awards, Jake Steeds LWCBBMD series and the start of JSP, EVASIVE and others. More girls were open to doing IR or I should say, the climate around doing IR became "warmer". So I much prefer recent times to yesteryear. I do mourn the loss of black on black porn though. I've also noticed more gonzo with a storyline which is nice....

I started watching porn in the late-70s, and a lot has changed since then. Here are a few things that occur to me.
The product:
1) It was shot on film, and was literally larger than life. Now it is produced for the small screen.
2) The market wasn't fragmented. There may have been more vanilla porn, but most features would indulge a variety of kinks. Orgies were especially common.
3) Story was often important.
The Girls:
1) Shaved pussies used to be a kink; now naturally pussies are seen as kinky. Fake boobs were an oddity.
2) The girls seemed less motivated by a desire for fame and money, they seemed to be free-spirits who didn't care about societal norms.
3) The number of girls doing porn was much smaller; there were very few drop-dead gorgeous girls.
4) The typical porn-girl look hadn't emerged yet.
The viewer's experience:
1) Most people watched porn either in a theater or a peep-show booth. If you were watching in a theater, it was a semi-public setting. The peep shows were even seedier. Pee-Wee Herman got caught in a theater. Today, I imagine he watches in the privacy of his own home.
2) If you went all the way to the theater, and paid your money, you were probably not just going to have a quick jerk. People would sometimes spend hours watching porn.
3) Now that porn is on the internet, almost everyone has at least seen porn. Watching porn in the 70s was– in and of itself– kinky.

If I were to judge things based what I'm seeing on this site and perhaps a few others, I think a big reason why the girls are less memorable is because the sex act has become more important than the girls themselves. It seemed like back in the older days people choose their fav pornstars based on looks or sex appeal. Now it seems like people are more concerned about how wild/hard the sex act is and when it's based on that there will always be a bunch of girls who can play hard (even new ones) and it's harder for any one girl to stand out. I also think that for some people the studio or pornsite is actually more important to them than the the girl. Many people here seem to really be into studios/sites/directors that deliver the type of sex acts they like, like rough sex, IR, etc...

I hear a lot of people saying current porn is more hardcore now compared to last decade and the 90s and beyond. I disagree. I think like the rest of entertainment porn is becoming too poltically correct and safe because of society Social Justice Warriors. I will go into that later...
People say current girls are more nasty and willing to do more than girls of yesterday. There's only so much you can legally do in porn on cam. Nobody is reinventing the wheel here! In yesterday year, there were no condoms for starters. In terms of hardcore nasty stuff, I wish I could remember the name of a movie back in the 90s along with the company and stars. But I will never forget the scenes. It was girls having guys shove wide mouth shot glasses in their asses then filling them up with alcohol for people to take the shots out of their ass! You wouldn't believe the size of some of these shot glasses either!
Another huge difference is how mainstream and accepted TS and bi porn is. You walked into a video store just a decade or two ago, that stuff was thrown into the gay section. On AEBN (unless it's changed), the TS and bi stuff is actually in the staight section while the gay section is 100% all male!
Back to the annoying poltically correct topic. A few years ago, there was actually lobbying going on to take the "n word" out of porn. Then several weeks ago I saw an article with James Deen (who acts like he's the Mayor of Porn) bashing girls who don't want to do IR or demand more money to do it. He called them racist for it.
Girls shouldn't be pressured into stuff but it's always been the case of having better careers and being more respected being open to more things.
But let's take a look at Mr. Deen's logic. He calls girls racist for not doing IR or wanting more pay for it. I don't recall Mr. Deen doing sex scenes with TS or sexual activity with other male actors. Does that mean people should call him transphobic and homophobic? He always boasts he has a big following among young girls. I'm sure his excuse is he'd lose his fan base doing TS and guys.

Well done. Kind of a fine point, yes, but definitely a sign of the times.
i kind of prefer the neatly trimmed "mohawk" of the 90's, if i had to pick.
Nor sure about the "typical-porn-girl" look observation, though.
I'd say the busty blonde bimbette predates adult movies.

The difference between current and Old Porn?....an old guy was in a video store a few years back wanting to back-order a classic 80s title, Maraschino Cherry from 1981. 'Nuff said.

I'm sure there were scenes/girls/porn that did or showed wild stuff back in the earlier days of porn but that type of stuff wasn't common or part of mainstream porn. That kind of stuff was usually from other countries or done for some obscure porn labels with girls we've probably never heard of before. Today the some of "mainstream" stuff is harder and bigger named and more popular girls are doing more harder core sex acts. And more importantly, much more people are able to watch that stuff because of the net and different adult sites, where as before only a select few porn shops sold that kind of stuff or a person would have to seek it out and special order it. I also believe there wasn't as big an audience for it. I think a lot of the people who watched/bought that type of porn back then did it out of curiosity or just wanted to see how crazy things could get. Today, I think more people actually enjoy watching that type of porn on a regular basis. But I still think the vast majority of typical porn watchers really only want to see a hot girl having sex and not the circus act stuff the more hardcore porn fans want to see.

Draxxx- maybe I'm living in the past and too fond of what I grew up on. But is there anything that tops or breaks ground now like what Max Hardcore, Rob Black/Extreme Associates, and Seymour Butts did in their days?
In terms of great looking casts and sheer hot scenes along with lots of fun, is their anything that tops Jim Holiday movies? (It was like when he died porn as a lot of us knew it also died with him in my view)..
Oh sure, the net is awesome. There are specific genres and available 24/7 instantly at home. (I was lucky because I had tons of video stores in my area in past and I'd run across a lot of variety at the time.)
I mentioned the TS and bi stuff before. You wouldn't have too many top name stars crossing over to work in those genres back in the old days. If/when they did, it was considered taboo and shocking. Now today it's accepted and not really a big deal.
Again, maybe I'm out of touch... but I don't see anything out there now that's so hardcore and must see. Any suggestions on what you're referring to? (I know there was XXX Horror but I don't think that's been updated in years last I checked. The woman who was director and I assume owner literally seemed to disappear as of a couple years ago.)

@ Draxxx personally for me buying porn tapes from the late 80s onwards my choice of movie was always more sex act dependant than performer dependant. For example however much christy canyon might have been a babe she was no good to me because she was a spermophobe. Same for Cheyanne Silver. In the end following a particular studio or producer/director is because you know they are going to deliver the product you want.
There was a recent thread about the dearth of porn being produced today but for me the amount of porn available today compared to yesteryear when it was limited to what they had in the porn shop is massive. The choice today is huge and its gonna be difficult to be a big fish in such a big pond.

You're right. I forgot about the MAX and EXTREME stuff. I don't think Seymour's stuff is on that level but it was probably seen as extreme in it's time. I don't know much at all about Jim Holiday...I thought he did typical porn stuff.

The biggest difference between current and retro porn is the internet.
Web cam girls (e.g. Roxy Raye, Dirty Garden Girl, Hot Kinky Jo etc.) have raised the bar on just how kinky porn can be. Also consumers (fans) have direct access to porn producers/performers via their individual websites, twitter and sites like Adult DVD Talk where we can provide instant feedback. Porn a/v quality is 1000 times better thanks to the inter-webs. Everything's hd now. In my opinion this is the golden age of porn.

There were fewer fishes swimming around prior to the DVD era. I guess John Strong must be the missing link. If I take five pieces of DVD stuff from the last decade I can never be sure he isn't always there, like he made duplos off himself by letting off so much goo or something. If I took five VHSes in my early years of pornwatching it was the Ginger Lynn-Amber Lynn-Peter North-routine and off we go in each and every one of them.

Up till the 90s there was little or no tats on the performers, especially the women. The 90s saw a few tats. 2000s saw graffiti all over the place, making the women look like the walls of men's public bogs.
Up till and into the 90s the girls mostly had beautiful womanly bushes. Now the girls mostly look just like that, girls...

^ Maybe 4 or 5 years ago, but these days I am seeing plenty of women in porn with bush. I'd probably say it's over half of the girls these days.

Yes, the womanly look seems to be coming back a bit, thankfully.

Now aren't they so much better? I think you could go too far, where they're really overgrown and start looking like a forest (i.e. the "cavegirl" look), but l think lightly shaved looks really great! Adds so much more character to a woman's looks too.

Well, the quantity, quality and variety of porn is better today in many ways. but I think the old legendary directors did it better. The biggest issue I have with porn from the 80's and 90's is the poor video quality, bad lighting and horrible camera angles. If old porn was remastered in 4K, I would be all in. Today's porn has too much bullshit like butter and twinkies in girls asses and a host of other fads that wouldn't turn on the average guy.
