Would kinda help if we know what kind you were using. Even the ones with suction cups don't always stick very well. You might be able to get a strap-on harness and modify it so you can attach it to a wall.
That's the only thing I can think of.

a suction cup and a smooth surface to attach it to is all you need.
the surface needs to be at the right height for you to take it doggy.
A footboard of a bed with enouth room to slide your feet under or a storage container that isn't to wide that you can slide your feet around.
The container will move so place it against something heavy and enjoy yourself.
A small storage container is also useful to place your suction cup dildo on so you can ride it cowgirl.
