When I was younger, my pubic hair was soft, wavy, and about 4 inches long and very thick and bushy. Now that I'm older, my pubic hair doesn't seem to grow nearly as long, only about an inch or two long, and it is much more like a brillo pad, very coarse and wirey where it kind of clumps up and creates bald looking spots. It just looks spotty and thin and balding now. Is this part of the normal aging process?

How much older? I'm 37 and haven't noticed this.

Mine is definitely thinner than it was when I was younger - but I don't mind.

I'm 40 and mine still makes for good bird nests or tumbleweeds.

Great, now I'm going to have to hear more Rogaine and Propecia ads.

Does pubic hair thin out as you get older?

I guess you'd have to go by how many hairballs your woman coughs up.

Mine's sparser, but I haven't noticed any changes in length or texture. I sure wouldn't worry about it. Different people get different results, as always.

You're almost 38, Aquarius.

RustyJewels, why did you keep it 4 inches long? You should get a nice trim down there so you don't have clumps and bald spots, even it out.

I am a year and two months from 38, actually. I'm just accepting 40 getting closer earlier, that's all.
This is also my year, the Year of the Dog.

I didn't catch the 4" part before. The Rapunzel thing is odd.
Brillo pad in patches? Too much friction?
