Seems to me that there are four sound categories of the sex scenes in films today:
1. The sound of the performers are included, no dubbing occures.
2. The sound of the performers are included, but due to slow motion effects, the sound is dubbed. It is, however, the actual sounds from the sex scene that is laid over the slow motion segments, and if it werent for the slow-motion effects you wouldn't notice the dubbing at all.
3. As no.2 but the sound seems to be recorded afterwards in a studio and doesnt sync with the action at all. The sound (i.e. the girls moaning) is often a bit over the top and/or obviously faked.
4. No sound at all, music only.
This has turned out to be a problem for me and my girl chosing films, since her main criterias are:
1. She wants to hear the performers natural sex sounds, without it being over the top or faked.
2. She wants scenes or films that start out slow, with kissing, fondling, passionate sex, and perhaps less explicit. She doesnt necessarily want it to be in slow motion, but this is often the case with these types of films/scenes.
This leaves us with films from category no.2(since the slower paced films often contains category no. 3 or 4 sound), but these are rare to find, ... Astroknight's reviews has really helped us a lot here, but we still would need some more help.
Is it possible to apply the categories above to certain directors? From Astroknights reviews we can tell that f.e. Nick Orleans and Nicholas Steele use quite some dubbing in their films, but is it the dubbing from category no. 2 or 3?
Or does anyone have suggestions for films with the sex described above, and with sound as in category no.1?
