Lee, I've shopped at DVD Advantage many times and they are a great source for porn and provide excellent service as well. Highly recommended!

While I haven't ordered from them since they went to using UPS (who don't deliver to PO Boxes) for deliveries, I always thought they were a great company. Two thumbs up!

I've ordered from them four times or five times, no problems, except that...

The UPS shipping is a bit annoying, because at the time I was still in school and no one was home to get the package, causing me another day of waiting for my porn.

But other than that one little complaint, I think that they do a pretty great job, plus they have the new redesigned website, which looks very nice.

I've used them several times and have had great service from them. Like the others, my main complaint is they ship UPS rather than Priority mail (which I prefer since it's normally 2 - 3 days faster, cheaper, and just as reliable in my experience).

DVD Advantage will ship Priority Mail to PO Boxes & APO/FPO's for a flat $5. I've been doing this for nearly a year, though it's been about 2 months or so since my last order. I sure hope this has not changed (I don't like using UPS). Check their shipping info section, it still states that they do this, or email Jon to confirm it.

I am glad to see I am not the only one who has a problem with UPS. Placed my first order with them yesterday so I will wait and see. Though I did contact their customer service and asked them to send my order USPS instead of UPS.

Hi this is Jon from DvdAdvantage We do ship via U.S.P.S. for APO's and P.O. boxes. (Flat rate of $6.25)

The number one reason why we switched to UPS as our primary shipping method is very simple. Our customers were NOT getting their packages!

Since USPS has no real means of tracking a package (Other than delivery confirmation, wich is totaly useless.) and the Post Office of losing about 2% of all our packages per month. We had no choice but to switch. This is costing us a lot more money. We now have to pay for boxes, when they were free using Priority Mail.

Let's face it you want what you pay for and we want you to get it. When the Post Office loses your package, we have to pay to replace it. If we kept that up we would have had to raise our prices just to cover the loses.

Please keep in mind if you prefer shipping via Priority Mail, just send an email to Michael at mcr@dvd88.com and he will be happy to care of your special needs.

Jon, thanx for clarifying that for all prospective customers who don't like to use UPS. Keep up the great work!

Got my first order from them today. Had it shipped priority mail. Only one problem..they substituted Ass Worship #2 for #3. Still waiting to find out why they did that. Especially since I already have #2. All in all a good experience so far.

Got a response from Michael at DVD Advantage the next day. Sending him one DVD back in order to get the correnct one sent. So far DVD Advantage's customer service has been first rate.

Yeah, I remember emailing and getting a reply pretty damn fast to a question I asked. And going back and forth, exchanging emails, a few more times, and every question and then some got answered.

Great experiences for me.

<Though the UPS is a bit annoying for others, I have never had a problem with UPS, it is a bit more expensive though.>

My feelings are the same, vis. UPS. Every time I order a disc or two or three from DVD Advantage, I have to sweettalk the woman at UPS's Hollywood terminal in order to get her to persuade the driver to come by my house after 5 p.m. Though the orders are discreetly packaged I fear having UPS deliver them to the newsroom where I work!

Otherwise, a solid and personable operation. Advantage will continue to get my business as long as the store continues to carry titles of interest to me.

Just ordered from DVD Advantage a few couple of weeks ago for the first time, and I would use them again without hesitation. Great service and fast shipping.

I have purchased from them twice, and had them ship to a P.O. Box both times.

The first package never arrived, but was promptly replaced, and they shipped it "next day delivery" or whatever it's called, at their own expense (over $23), though I told them that was unnecessary and there was no hurry. The second time was uneventful, fast service.

Cygnus5 - I sometimes have things delivered to my Mom's house (easier for the UPS guy as I'm out in the sticks), and I don't worry about her having x-ray vision or anything. When she asks, I tell her my stuff is workout videos or exercise equipment, and that bores her thoroughly, she never follows up on it!

From a manufacturer's POV, DVDadvantage has always been completely on top of things. They seem to have become fully acquainted with the porn business.

They are one of the online retailers that I highly recommend.
