But other than that one little complaint, I think that they do a pretty great job, plus they have the new redesigned website, which looks very nice. | Jon_dvdAdvantage DVD Advantage.com Chatsworth, CA 30 Posts 7/01 | The number one reason why we switched to UPS as our primary shipping method is very simple. Our customers were NOT getting their packages! Since USPS has no real means of tracking a package (Other than delivery confirmation, wich is totaly useless.) and the Post Office of losing about 2% of all our packages per month. We had no choice but to switch. This is costing us a lot more money. We now have to pay for boxes, when they were free using Priority Mail. Let's face it you want what you pay for and we want you to get it. When the Post Office loses your package, we have to pay to replace it. If we kept that up we would have had to raise our prices just to cover the loses. Please keep in mind if you prefer shipping via Priority Mail, just send an email to Michael at mcr@dvd88.com and he will be happy to care of your special needs. And going back and forth, exchanging emails, a few more times, and every question and then some got answered. Great experiences for me. <Though the UPS is a bit annoying for others, I have never had a problem with UPS, it is a bit more expensive though.> -A buttoned collar, starched and bleached |

The second time was uneventful, fast service. Cygnus5 - I sometimes have things delivered to my Mom's house (easier for the UPS guy as I'm out in the sticks), and I don't worry about her having x-ray vision or anything. When she asks, I tell her my stuff is workout videos or exercise equipment, and that bores her thoroughly, she never follows up on it! |
