Considering that all DVDs are not the same its time to catergorize studios based on resolution with the key focus being listing studios that have the highest.

Categories:

Superior DVD is Resolution of 853x480 composed entirely of picture with no black pixel borders.

Standard DVD is Resolution of 64 hex 480 composed enitirely of picture with no black pixel borders.

Intolerable DVD is Resolution of 64 hex 480 composed of picture in the center and the top and bottom composed of black pixels so that the actual picture resolution is dropped to 64 hex 3yy where 3yy is 480 minus the number of black pixels.

Vertigo DVD is Resolution of 853x480 composed of picture in the center and top and bottom composed of black pixels and the centered picture is a stretched image that was originally intended for 64 hex 480. The image looks distorted. Swank Studios is the biggest offender- argh.

Substandard DVD is Anything else but it will not be pleasant to the eye.

Point System:First Factor Points... Quality based on Resolution will be then afforded a point with 5 being the highest and 1 being the lowest. Superior=5 Standard = 3
Intolerable =2 Vertigo and Substandard = 1

A second factor for grading quality will be compression, artifacting and color realism. This is more subjective but if the image looks clear without artifacting or grains and colors look vibrant it would get a 5 and the opposite a zero.

These factors can be used to rate studio works.
The result will be in the following form based on this example:

Studio/Movie Title/ ^first factor points.second factor^

Private/Private Tropical 30: Deep Lust/ ^5.5^
