Fashionistas 2 Quote Belladonna "I am shooting Fashionista's 2 at the end of March and I had not heard that Rocco is doing a scene with me but if this is true then I say that god does exist.... I am crossing my fingers..."

Before this thread gets out of hand, I want to clarify that there are NO specific scenes confirmed between performers.
Belladonna and Rocco will be in the movie, but we have not finalized the script to find out if they will be having a scene together or not. Whatever works best for the story and the sex of the movie is what will happen, as long as the performers want to work together.
It is shooting later than March though. We will try to release by September 30, but we will not compromise the quality of the movie in order to release on time.
Other than that, I have NO comments. There's already a lot of pressure on this project, and a thread full of "I think there should be this" or "please do that" unfortunately doesn't help when John is the one writing the script. All I can say is I hope that we can capture even half of the magic form the first one.
That sucks, because in the sequel Helena should become a total psychopath and seek revenge on Antonio and Jesse for what happened at the end of the first one (among other things), and Taylor was the right choice for that role. But I can already tell that "Fashionistas 2" will be about something totally different.
To be perfectly honest with you, I was not particularly impressed with the plot of the original. It's a love triangle set in the fashion industry, with themes of control and submission expressed both overtly (S/M) and through somewhat more subtle means (the dialogue between Taylor and Bella)). For me, the plot was more like window dressing that ultimately paid off in hot sex scenes, particularly the one between Taylor and Rocco. Then again, I enjoyed John Leslie's Chameleon's-Not a Sequel, but did I find that plot compelling? Not really; just enough that the sex was better because of it.
What I am trying to get at is that I'd really prefer that John move on to another creation, and leave the Fashionistas as is. However, I'd rather get a sequel from John Stagliano than nothing at all.
its not about the plot for me either...but the whole feeling of the film and the costumes and the hot hot hot hot hot hot sex :) and bella and rocco!maybe they won't be together but they will both be in it...and i love that!!! any more cast details allowed to be released if not plot/scene details? cannot wait x

I'm glad you felt that way, because that's pretty much what John was going for. If the plot was the most important thing, we wouldn't be making porn. We want a script that makes people more interested in the sex and makes the sex of the movie better. If we weren't making porn, most of our movies would have political undertones or be about political themes (ala Traffic or Syriana), but that's not porn.
Tricia, I'm one person who thinks the plot is the most important part of "The Fashionistas". While the sex helps tell the story, it was secondary to me. I actually think it's the least interesting part. The fact that the movie has a real story to it is what makes the movie. The plot and the characters is what makes "The Fashionistas" a great movie. And I noticed a lot of symbolism in the movie as well (the chains connected to Jesse in her bondage girl persona representing Helena's control over her, for example). Obviously you know what John was going for more than I do, but I personally feel that "The Fashionistas" goes way beyond being a mere porno film. This is what sets is apart from other movies, and I love that. I admit the movie didn't do anything for me sexually, but that wasn't what I was looking for. But I did find what I was looking for, and as a result it became one of my all-time favorite movies.
How about casting Tiffany Mynx in the Fashionistas #2? She is great with the fetishwear and would be great in the lead. She has a huge fan following and can out-perform most, especially when turning up the kink (foot worship, anal, domination, latex, etc.) Tiffany in latex like Kate Frost or Belladonna in the first installment, whew! Or, even just taking over the part played by Taylor St. Clair, or, dare I say, Belladonna. Just a wish! Thanks for listening!
Marquis is definitely one of the leaders in European fetish products. Marc Dorcel and Co. had a special relationship with them. If Evil Angel creates a productive relationship with them and starts a line of quality films (not just bizare/lesbian features...but quality feature films) I would just pay for subscribtion...to have all of your new films delivered to me on release date. To make a long story short...there is not a single US company that produces consistently high-quality fetish sex-films. I don't count BIZARE VIDEO's products as they are just...niche-films.
its true..bondage/fetish and sex is poorly represented in high production value er..productions! we need more! but hot sex in it too...not too 'staged' its difficult with bondage and discipline, but it should be aimed for x
I hope you cast melissa lauren in the role of taylor stclair in this movie. and tiffany mynx as her submissive. the scene in 1 with bella and taylor was what im looking for in girl girl scenes. i want to see melissa dominate tiffany. also, i hope you will cast nicole sheridan, as another girl girl dominant in this movie. if 2 is anywhere near as good as one, john will hit the jackpot again.
this is what i get for not reading the entire thread. i did not know belladonna would be in this movie. this is great news. i want bella in a scene like she did with taylor st.clair. but i want her dominant to be nicole sheridan, tiffany mynx, melissa lauren or tory lane.
There are certain releases that are very well done and manage to combine plenty of energy with high quality outfits. Unfortunately, Tanya Hyde is often a victim of what I describe as the "Pirate/Private syndrom". Too many uncalled for cuts, flashy moves that take away from the intensity, fake moaning. In addition, Tanya Hyde has plenty of films that suffer from quick zooming a.k.a a cut that is placed right after the female model is about to get undressed. With other words, I do think that many of her outfits are great but the action itself often lacks.
Indeed!! The Italian production house Salieri was known during the early 90s for their classy outfits and the sex was quite good as well. Sadly the director's vision there decided to follow up on the gonzo mania in the US which degraded their films. Still, they are one of the best when it comes to tease and quality "pre-game".
The outfits are sensational, but the quick cuts and fake moaning killed my interest in her films a long time ago. I remember first renting one ten years ago and thinking I'd found the Promised Land only to be completely disapoointed in what I saw. With any luck this film will be Euro Domination meets Tayna Hyde

It will be shot in a widescreen format. I'm keeping the media under wraps until after the cameras are rented. :)
And yes, we are teaming up with Marquis for the wardrobe design for this movie. Peter Czernich is someone who we are big fans of - both his designs and his photography, and he will designing most of the latex for this movie.
Great. Please make sure that when the film is in production you spend plenty of time on the tease-element. Let both th emale and female actors engage in a seductive action (I won't describe it as "game") where the camera spends plenty of time on detail: stockings, corsets, etc. That plus avoiding the extreme gagging, spitting, suffocation...would = high production quality as far as I am concerned.
Hey did I miss something? Didn't Rocco retire at the end of 2004? If not, what was his "farewell tour" all about--when he came to the U.S. to fuck (and in some cases, fuck over) the Vivid Girls? So, ole Steve Hirsch got taken if he thought he was paying for Rocco's "final U.S. scenes." Yes..I'm smiling.
I don't think that Jesse (Belladonna's character) would be a submissive again since she stopped being one at the end of the first "Fashionistas". I never felt that she was submissive by nature in the first place. Jesse was simply a woman with no confidence in herself, and Helena took advantage of that. Jesse was probably seduced by Helena, then trapped by her. But maybe in the new movie Jesse can have a rival of some kind (with both of them being fashion company owners), and there could be a scene where Jesse is dominated by that rival to symbolize that woman's deep, dark desires (the rival's, that is). I felt the S&M imagery in the first movie was symbolic for psychological domination/submission anyways, so that could work.
If Helena does return in the new movie (though I know she would be played by someone else if that's the case), she could be the rival, and a very bitter one at that. That sounds like Helena to me. Now what would be weird is Jesse and Antonio not being together, as the end of the first movie indicated they would be after the story ended. But maybe circumstances forced them to be apart from each other. I hope that's not the case.
I still like the "Helena's Revenge" idea the best, but I know that will definitely not be the plot of the sequel.
