Somewhat similar to MyLoad, I've always envisioned any sequel to Fashionistas involving Helena in revenge mode. That is, in some part, probably due to my affinity for the body of Ms. St. Claire though, as without her I honestly never even consider watching Fashionistas 1. However, if the story were to follow typical film conventions then Helena's function in a revenge scenario would just be to ultimately re-affirm Jesse's newfound confidence. And after the ending of the original, that would be really repetitive. Ultimately, Jesse was the dynamic character of the original, and Taylor St. Claire's Helena, as hot as she was, has pretty much run its course. Plus, with posts like this ("Part two is going to be about so many other stars.. I had my time to shine and I am thankful for that") by Bella in her official forum, one can wonder how prominent a role Jesse will actually play in the sequel.

As for my objections to making a sequel to Fashionistas in the first place, Tricia pretty much summed up what you can actually see me thinking through in my original post (the "wait a minute? Chameleons had an incredibly stupid plot, but I dug it because of the themes the plot carried into the sex scenes. Why am I being so hard on this love triangle film then?" moment). So, the fact that I don't honestly care what becomes of Jesse or Helena or whoever else is absolutely inconsequential. This is porn. If it has people in it that I want to see having sex then I'll want to see it, and if the themes within the story makes the sex better then the story is good enough. So, I'll be interested to hear who fills out the rest of the cast, though short of Avy Scott there aren't any TSC types out there that would get me as excited as she did for the original. Plus, from a business standpoint after the success of the original and the critical success of the stage show how could John not be interested in doing a sequel?

As for the porn and politics comments about Tricia, porn has historically skewered the political climate of the time at different intervals, particularly during the Meese Commission days. The message in such films was almost always one of anti-censorship. Stagliano even delved into politics, with his Pro-American/Anti-Russian Cold War film Sex for Secrets . However, maybe the medium is just more realistic now about what consumers want from pornography, and the anachronistic films I am thinking of shall not be repeated again unless the industry comes under direct attack by the government.

I realize that this would take "The Fashionistas" into thriller territory, and I'm sure that's not what John Stagliano had in mind. It's just that to me that would be the natural progression of the story. But of course Helena can't be part of "Fashionistas 2" if Taylor St. Claire won't be in it. As for Jesse, I would like to see her be a big part of the sequel's story. But I know that's not up to me to decide.

I can't say "well, this is porn, so things like plot and characters don't matter". Those things definitely mattered in the first "Fashionistas". That movie showed that porn can be more than just people fucking. There's a real movie there, and it worked. Like Astroknight said. "The Fashionistas" shows how much potential the porn genre can have. That's what attracted me to the movie, and that's why I like it so much (not like I need to mention that yet again). I'm sure the sequel will do the same.

Buttman (and Co.) are very interesting to me because they are among the hardest core of the porn out there, but they don't rely on the misogynistic goofiness that tends to come as a package deal with the hard sex.

Other shots I thought were incredible:

The buttlicking scenes. I forget the performers names offhand, but on the 2nd disc, the woman who went into the back room is solo with a brown-haired guy after Rocco leaves and not only does the girl get her butthole licked in a way-too brief shot, but she does an excellent job licking the guy's butt. I hope there're more of that in the sequel. I prefer seeing actually up-close rimming instead of the "block his air" shots where you don't see any rimming.

Also, I like how the blond in the first scene enjoys Rocco pulling her hair. More please.

Also the way the black woman has the dildo really working her butthole when she says "Oh shit." More please.

Besides, how many other porn stars have "retired," and returned.

Unless Taylor, as the wronged Helena character can "get her pound of flesh," this time, a great deal will be lost from the original impact, and thus, just won't be the same.

I hope Tricia and John, who created Helena so powerfully, will see that. and at least make some overtures to Taylor.

I just saw Basic Instinct 2, for example, featuring the return of the, oh so sexy, Sharon Stone, in that same powerful role, and although the sequel may not be as good as the original (few ever are) it is pretty damn close, which would also be the case with Taylor, as the Helena character.

"Fashionistas" (the original) hasn't left the DVD in my bedroom since, geesh, I can't remember when! I'm looking forward to what brilliantly twisted storyline and sex elements John comes-up with this time.

Guess I'll start rolling-up my spare quarters now to be able to afford the new DVD in September ... You know John, Tricia and the Evil Empire will definitely be going "full-bore" on this release!

Katsumi is the NEW LEAD of Fashionistas 2. I just can´t think of anyone who is sexually more suited for this feature than Katsumi. As the movie is being made, I will release the other cast members too, as I have already mentioned Katsumi and Melissa Lauren here on ADT as being in the movie, I will clarify that they are indeed the new female leads of the Fashionistas story. Belladonna will still be in the movie in a sexual role, and Rocco Siffredi will reprise Antonio. Nacho Vidal will play a character that he is perfect for. I´m very happy with how this is evolving, and I hope people will have an open mind come September, and hopefully enjoy F2.

Oh, and you better believe I´m going to try to one-up myself on the DVD production, and even the DVD packaging. A limited edition package isn´t out of the question, and I have a few ideas that I´m looking into.

Congratulations to Katsumi and Melissa, strong performers both, on landing the roles of the new female leads. However, to be honest I've never been attracted to either girl though they're both certainly attractive. So, my interest with the project is now relegated to the supporting roles, but with Bella Donna on tap and Manuel, Rocco, and Nacho around it's hard to imagine any other female roles of significance. Still keeping my fingers crossed for a Sunny Lane appearance, particularly since she looks like she doesn't belong anywhere near an S/M club.

Katsumi and Melissa are actually quite good actresses. And each of them is perfectly suited for their character in the movie. John cast each of them before the script was finished.

As for Sunny Lane, if she's in the movie at all, it will actually be a quite small role, with no acting whatsoever. As Kelly said, she isn't the S/M type and therefore Sunny having a large part in this movie just wouldn't make sense.

At the risk of angering a bunch of people, I'm going to go ahead and say that there would be very little chance that a girl who doesn't do anal would have a chance at having a large part in this movie.

Oh, and as for the Marie Luv request, YES- we absolutely love Marie and I think that her sexuality would match up really great with Rocco. We're deciding between a few different girls (Marie being one of them) for the last girl who hasn't been cast in Rocco's sex scenes yet.
