Right now, I think it's about time for me to rate Five Star's performance as regards customer service. Although a huge chunk of their catalogue seems to be out of stock, their actual customer service has to be second to none, especially when they have to put up with this clueless whinger of a customer! Even though I obviously haven't received the goods yet I think that, as far as service and patience goes, they represent a case of Five Star by name, Five Star by nature!

Customer Service: 10/10

And everyone else, feel free to put your comments and marks outa ten for their service.

Hey Ethan, just to let you know that I've just sent you an E-mail regarding the last two titles in my original Wish List!

I will definitely agree with you on that. Five Star is the best online retailer I deal with and i live in Canada. I find they have a good selection and really good pricing. I like the fact you can order an out of stock item and they will send it when it comes in stock. Many others do not do this. Fivestar has really good prices too, and even with the exchange rate, I am still getting dvd's cheaper than the 3 retaliers I have dealt with in Quebec.
I have never had a problem with customs and even when i ordered 4 dvd's and mistakenly selected Standard International Mail instead of Global International Mail, customs never opened the package. It had the dvd's in the plastic cases too!!

Great news, I got the last of my order today! And seeing that I promised to post here once I got it that's exactly what I'll do. Right now, my final conclusion of Five Star's service is as follows:

Customer Service (especially Ethan): 9.5 Although it's sometimes initially hard to get an answer, partly because they're busy and partly because it seems their online E-mail system seems a bit dodgy, once you do get a reply they're great! They also put up with a lot from whinging and demanding customers such as myself.

Catalogue Choice: 9.5 They've got most titles on sale out there in their catalogue, although there are some odd oversights.

Prices: 9.5 They're one of the cheapest out there!

Stock: 7.5 Oh dear, this is their only weak spot in my opinion. Despite an extensive catalogue they do tend to be out of stock of a lot of their major titles. And although they do try their very best to get the titles in once you ask for them, sometimes it can take a very long time for the distributors to pull their fingers out, which can hardly be the fault of Five Star themselves. But it would be nice to actually see more of their catalogue actually in stock as soon as I want to make an order.

All in all I'd say that they're one of the best dealers going, and I'd rarely go anywhere else.
