I would like to take out a subscription to French magazine Hot Video. A friend of mine has translated the page in the magazine that deals with subscriptions. However he was unsure on the payment methods.

The advert is now in my reply

Thanks in advance,

CB is credit card. Though the advert does not appear to have a place to put the number on.

CB = Carte Bleue

Carte Bleue is kind of a French credit card, can be VISA at the same time but not necessarily.

(click on British flag on the right hand side).

XXL really good porn channel.

I don't like the fact that every film be It originally french, amaerican, british, dutch german etc. Is dubbed Into french.

apart from that has some good stuff as has the Italian porn channel SCT.

That's great Whitestar. But as you may notice, the topic was actually about translating the subscription form for Hot Video magazine!
Can you bring your linguistic skills to bear on this matter?

hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

ok here is my attempt:

looks like the top is a letter confirming bank details
then an international money order
and the credit bleu (froggy credit card)

over on the right is which issues you want to order
and the rest looks like its just address and signature details.

of course i am probably wrong, cant you cut and paste the form into a french to english translation programme
have a look on www.google.co.uk
for french to english translation, i found a good free programme and it completely translated something for me.

i cant remember the programme sorry.

hope this helps

Thanks for the help guys. If they accept credit cards that should make life easier.
It cannot be as long winded as my subscription to 'Video Impulse' the Italian magazine Which took about 4 months to sort out.

Regards,

the colonel

No, on the right it says you get a free cassette (K7) if you are a new subscriber. You can choose which:
"Les bronzes"= "sun-tanned girls"
"Droles de fille"= hmm, "Charlie's Angels" in French is "Droles de dames", so I would say "Charlie's little angel".
"La bricoleuse"= "the DIY girl"
"Naty a tout pris"= is also a pun...

hope this helps.
