This has happened to me about 4 times in the last 20 years or so, so it's not common. But it is very unique and difficult to understand.
(This was overheard, by the way.) The woman was in her early 20s, evidently unmarried and without kids. She said that she would like to have a son, and that when he was old enough, she would introduce him to sex by letting him fuck one of her friends.
Now, this time I overheard it, but I have had three women make the same pronouncement to me directly. The women have all been of similar demographic. Have any of you ever heard this before? They never say anything about having a daughter.
As a Pervert that Iam;even I must say this is sick for a Mom to say. I would have thought my Mom was disfuntional and a little off if she proposed that to me. Mom's usually dont have good looking friends that youd want to bone. Now if she said;she would hook me up with one of my Sisters friends;we'd be in business.
I have an equally interesting story about one of my friends and it's 100% true because I've known him and his father for my whole life (30 + years), they are close family friends. When this guys son (my friend) turned 16, his father got him a hooker to teach him how to fuck so that when the kid found a girl he liked, he knew how to fuck her brains out properly. No names - but this did happen to someone I once knew. (Yes, he was legal age at the time, if that nonsense matters to you.)

I don't actually understand why anyone would have a problem with this. If your son is looking for a sex partner, why shouldn't you suggest someone that you know and trust?
it's a knee jerk reaction I know. But I don't think moms should play any role at all in their childrens sex lives.That is the kinda stuff you are supposed to do on your own, learning interpersonal communication on the way.
If a dad gave his little girl to one of his friends for training what would you think (ick I found that erotic must think happy thoughts)still your parents shouldn't do everything for you, i dont think giving a 16 year old a car is a great idea either.

You don't think it would establish a really weird dynamic in all the relationships involved?
This reminds me of a situation I experienced in high school. It wasn't arranged, more or less spontaneous.
As a kid I was tall for my age. I played sports and hung out with kids my size that tended to be 2 - 3 years older than me.
When I was 15 a friend of mine had a small party for his 18th birthday. Just a few guys and girls. His birthday is Dec. 31st so it was a New Years Eve party too. (At the time in Ohio the drinking age for beer was 18.) His parents were divorced and his mom was going to be out that night. She insisted that anyone who was drinking was to sleep over. It didn't really apply to me since I could have walked the 200 yards home but what the hell, I planned to stay over anyway.
Of course the evening eventually ventured into the silly drinking games and typical 'truth or dare' type of stuff. Needless to say there was plenty of making out, nudity and just about everything short of fucking going on. We eventually paired up into couples and ended up in separate rooms. I ended up with Misty (which didn't seem like such a silly name at the time).
Unrelated to my story: My friend ended up with Beth, who later in life went on to be one of the cast members on MTV's Real World in the first season.
Nothing about that is all that strange. The strange part happened after I got back from doing my morning newspaper route. (yes, I delivered newspapers for pot money) When I returned Misty and my friend's mom are sitting at the kitchen table talking about what Misty and I were doing most of the night. Mrs. X must have liked what she was hearing and walks over to me, presses herself close one arm around me and says something to the effect of "Misty says you've got a big dick" and proceeds to kiss me, tongue and all while placing a hand on my dick. This was right there in front of Misty. I'm not sure if she was still drunk from the night before or what but I felt extremely uncomfortable and promptly left. We never discussed it again.
(In another not quite related note, I had sex with Mrs. X's daughter a few years later. She was a year younger than me.)
Maybe, but some of that stuff is hard to learn. Now I think about it, my Mum did introduce me to one of her workmates when I was 15. The lady was 20, and did come on to me a little, but I was too shy and nervous to take her up on it. (at 15 my social skills were limited. A little push might have done me a lot of good.)It's not a question of giving. You can't "give" another human being. If you think of it as an introduction, with her making the choice if she wants, then it's fine.
Actually, I'm a social libertarian. I think that sort of training should be available in schools.

I guess there is the potential that the guy might forever rely on his mother to find girlfriends for him, which is probably not a good thing, but it's only a possibility.
But really is there any good way to meet? Some guys hang around bars and clubs, some use dating services, some follow a popular guy around so they can take his leavings, some play football. Some rely on introductions from friends. All of these things can be pretty demeaning when you think about it.

You bring this up and it makes me think of the time Bob Costas had Milton Berle on his show. He was talking about how when he was 18 his mother talked some young girl into letting her be his first. As he told the story, he started to weep, like really weep. I was unsettled by the story.
You know, the days of arranged marriages are not so far behind us (really, they're still going on). Isn't this parents making the ultimate sexual decision for their children? It's not such a terrible thing, either, so don't get all salty on me.
My boys tease me all the time about introducing them to some of my work associates, and who could blame them? If I thought that a child of mine needed sexual introduction in a non-relationship setting, I would absolutely arrange for it. The thought of a bumbling boy being the first thing a delicate young flower experiences sexually makes me cringe. The thought of a cringing girl being the first thing a strapping young man experiences sexually makes me wince. Why put them through that? Unless, of course, that's what they want (and who would teach them to want that?).
It's all kind of dreadful.
As to chasing tail being part of a young fella's growing up... maybe making it so inaccesable is what makes them obsess about it the rest of their lives.
I completely agree with you Kimi. When I had my first encounter at seventeen, I knew almost nothing. I did not even know that a woman has a clitoris. I was very fortunate to be with a woman a couple of years older who was more experienced. She was patient with my ignorance and clumsiness, and taught me how to do things right for her.
