^I agree, I'm just kind of tired of listening to the same stuff ad nauseum. That's why on the other thread I tried to steer the conversation away from it (it didn't work). So from now on I'm just going to ignore LezTrib and Lezzyi...sorry, Girl Crazy. I don't think they'll lose any sleep over it.
There are so many good-quality GG scenes and unique content available online. There's a huge variety of scenes and different pairings to explore, and if some people don't like something, that's their issue-not ours. Those of us who enjoy it can simply appreciate the content we like. The cost of accessing this content isn't that high either. I guess age-verification issues aren't present on various websites. I'd also recommend Sinn Sage Studios' scenes featuring Sinn Sage with other performers.
^I mean, yeah, the adult industry and more prominently GG, is struggling and we aren't in the abundance era of the 2010s with many companies and exclusive performers, but it's not like everything is lost. We have pages like Allherluv or Sweetheart Video releasing scene after scene weekly that are excellent. Sometimes Girlsway, Girlsonlyporn, Bellesa, Sheseducedme or even Slayed can release a scene with a good pairing. We have really good actresses still making a work that it's worth like Lilly Bell, Octavia Red, Little Puck, Penny Barber, Sophia Locke, Seren Siren, Lana Smalls, Victoria Voxxx, etc and we now have two openly lesbian performers like Ophelia Fae and Freya Parker that are now going GG exclusive,soemthing I don't recall having in the so callled glorious 2010s. So, all of this pessimism for me is unwarranted.

^What do you consider an all-girl studio because she's shot for AllHerLuv. A better cast but I wish the pairings were as well. I'd have paid good money too see Sophia and Alison perform together again, Sophia's first GG scene with her short hair btw.
I never expected anything groundbreaking from a director whose resume primarily consists of shooting BG scenes, but I at least expected some novelty in the titles and concepts being used. But this new director seems to be following the same old formula that's already everywhere in the GG scene: stepdaughters, stepmothers, and the same recycled concepts over and over again. Btw, AllHerLuv operates under the Missax banner, whereas Girlfriends Films has its own independent banner and was founded in 2002. Girlfriends Films is an all-girl-to-girl studio, whereas Missax isn't exclusively focused on that genre. Anyway, my question is: Does anything actually change with a new director? The answer is a big fat NOOOOOOO!
I'm just waiting for this studio to shut down soon because it has completely lost the credibility it once had.
Sorry, mate, I forgot about AllHerLuv. As far as Sophia and Alison are concerned, the title wouldn't really suit their pairing. The movie has already made two mistakes by pairing Ophelia with Isabella and Scarlett Moon with Kait, because neither pairing really gives off the stepdaughter vibe.
What a casting man. The only woman old enough to be a stepmom is Sophia Locke. Don't this people know a performer in her 40s??? There is plenty and pretty talented. Hell, they could have cast Mindi Mink now that she has made a comeback with Sheseducedmn.

Maybe Reagan Foxx, Gigi Dior, Cory Chase, Eva Long, or Annie King could have been cast, but the problem isn't the pairing itself; it's the movie's title, which doesn't do justice to the pairings. Secondly, Mindi Mink's return with SheSeducedMe was justified because the videos are sometimes released first on performers' own content platforms, such as ManyVids and LoyalFans, before appearing on sheseducedme website.
Honestly, this movie should have been titled Dad's Lesbian Lover 5 instead of Lesbian Stepdaughters.
The insignificant age difference reminds me of the infamous fact about "The Manchurian Candidate" (1962) that Angela Lansbury is nowhere near old enough to be Raymond Shaw's mother yet is very convincing in the role. A porn scene can't rely on the acting to dupe people in that way, also in porn so much more is revealed about a performer so it's less likely they could hide the lack of age difference.
^I think we shouldn't discuss titles, at least now, because GFF has been using these kinds of titles for such a long time, and this will likely continue in the future until the majority of people who are still interested in this studio stop watching such titles movies on VOD/website. I was just saying that the pairings would have justified the title Dad's lesbian Lover better than Stepdaughters, because, as you said, the pairings don't really include much older women with younger women. Isa bella with Ophelia and Kait with Scarlett are both younger pairings! As far as lesbians are concerned, apart from Ophelia, there may hardly be anyone left in the industry whom we can actually call a lesbian at this point.

Some of the comments here are hysterically funny: the G/G side of things is far from dying out and the metrics say that GFF is doing just fine and $31 million dollars saying they are not anywhere near folding, lesbian porn remains incredibly popular and women love watching it because it feels far more realistic than B/G content.
I think people here must have come from a different planet because, judging by the GG scenes we're seeing today, they are far removed from any kind of realism. The artificiality has gone so far that it's hard to imagine how things could get any worse. Many times, the performers look almost cartoonish, and naturalness has been lost big time. The split scenes have made things even worse. Scene after scene is released every week, sometimes with just a day or two in between, and by then, you can barely even remember the last scene you watched. The quality has reached its lowest point now. And that 31 million figure is not a fact; it's a joke! If the GG industry were really making that much money, or if Girlfriends Studio were earning that much, they could easily have contacted or booked more experienced performers instead of relying so heavily on younger ones. B. Skow wouldn't have been removed, and locations wouldn't have been changed if everything were going smoothly. If things were going so well, why would they need to make these changes? Layoffs are happening, and feature films are not being made as frequently as they used to be. So, honestly, where is all this supposedly huge amount of money going?
It's my subjective opinion, but I recommend watching the first scene between Sophia Locke and Cherry Candle in Lesbian Stepdaughters Volume 10. It was a hot scene! I've watched only the first scene so far, and I'll submit my review of the entire movie in a few days. Until then, I'm happy to share that I really liked the 1st scene I have watched🙏

^I loved it too. Tbh though, if it was Sophia with anyone else it would've been as good but if it was Cherry with anyone else it wouldn't have been as good, if that makes any sense
I am glad you loved it, Sophia As usual was fantastic. I haven't watched much of Cherry because, I guess, she mostly featured in scenes for SexArt.com, but she was good too. Did you notice that the visuals have improved as well? Though, those who love B. Skow's direction and bright colors might feel differently about the scenes directed by the new director!

You may find this shocking but the pornographic tastes of two people unhappy with the current product do not outweight the majority which clearly is committed to GFF. They have entire websites devoted to the metrics of various companies, do enough poking around and you find quantifiable numbers. In the current environment where over the top comic book based movies reign supreme making billions of dollars, expecting a more grounded product is a ridiculous. Hentaied, Parasited, hell there was a horror themed porn scene involved teeth in a vagina for crying out loud that I commented on. Not my cup of tea but clearly someone had the idea and yes, layoffs are happening but that's more due to studios wanting to extort more money from the talent. There's a great piece on this by Cami Strella where she talks about the root of the issue; a major site offered to keep her on the books for studio work in exchange for taking over half her OF to handle it which basically involves robbing her blind when you consider that OF already takes a flat commission of 20% of all creator earnings. In essence, the studio side of the industry has not been able to adapt like individual creators have been able to and she goes onto to say that she hasn't shot a studio scene in months without any hit to her income. Her mental health is better as well, in her own words "That's the real shift nobody in the industry wants to say out loud: it's not that performers are turning down studios. It's that studios have priced and mismanaged themselves out of being relevant to performers who have other options. I have other options. So does almost everyone I know who's been doing this longer than a year or two." She goes onto to say that studio porn didn't lose to OF, it lost by not evolving accordingly and now it's trying to buy its way back in by taking a cut of the very thing it has ignored for years.
I suspect the new landscape of studio porn is going to belong to those who are in it for love of the art rather than just the business; who can create scenes and features that compell you to want to pay whatever fee or charge to see what they have cooked up because you trust their instincts. Granted that does mean making room for horror based or even scifi themed porn scenes but as long as they can crank out erotic material that stimulates my mind rather than just standard visuals in the typical 3-5 or 4-6 positions; I can accept that. Even more so when it is clear that full on orgasms are involved rather than a race to the finish line.

^^That's another point, I couldn't really care less who directs what scene. I know you really like Mike Quasar but for me personally I dont think he or any other director has a worse or better ratio of good/bad scenes, or rather scenes I like/don't like. What I'm getting at is if I like scene I like a scene, no matter who directs it. Again, if that makes any sense.
