As for the idea of "everything looks the same," do you mean everything from the same studio looking the same? This I more or less agree, as each tends to have the same style for most of their videos. Or everything in general? There are definitely studios that have a quite different aesthetic. Slayed and Straplez, to me, are the two most distinct-looking studios.
As mentioned in an earlier post, Celestina Blooms mentioned in her interview in Lesbian Sex 28 that the very first time she had been with a woman in her life was when she shot a scene for Girlfriends Films, which was her scene with Alex Coal in Secret Lesbian Diaries 10, released back in May 2021. Out of curiosity I went back and took a look at the scene.
Overall it's a solid scene, not great but not bad either. Considering that this was Celestina's first time with a woman, and either her first or second porn scene at all (there's only one scene that was released earlier by one month, which was a blowjob scene), her performance is very commendable. Still, comparing this one with, let's say, her scene with Slay Kay that I reviewed, the difference is quite clear.
Both women look really good here, and the kissing between them is excellent. Not sure if Celestina has kissed a woman before, but she certainly does a great job here. Also, it's notable that she was a blonde back then. I have to admit I like her with black hair more, as the sharp contrast with her pale skin is a more striking look. Alex, by the way, is already a veteran by this point, having started in 2018, and had done more than a dozen scenes for GFF.
Alex does an excellent job sucking on Celestina's boobs. On the other hand, this was, in all likelihood, the first time Celestina has had a woman's breast in her mouth, and her licking is notably much more tentative. Later Alex has some fun by sexily sucking on Celestina's toes, which Celestina seems to enjoy.
The main sex act of the scene is mutual oral sex, and Alex, as expected of her, does an excellent job eating out Celestina, including licking and sucking on her clit. In her 2025 interview, Celestina talks about how she enjoys being fingered in the right way, and how she can cum multiple times from that. Too bad this is absent here. Perhaps she's just not confident enough to ask for this in this early scene. But it also could be an Alex thing - as good as her oral is, I don't remember ever seeing her using her fingers.
For her first time giving oral to a woman, Celestina does a very good job. It's clear that she's no expert at this like Alex, but she does her best, earnestly licking and sucking Alex's clit. It also forms an interesting contrast with her Slay Kay scene 4 years later, when she confidently takes charge and finger fucks Kay while sucking on her clit at the same time. Then she does some face-sitting on Alex, and the scene ends with Alex rubbing her clit from behind, which Celestina seems to have enjoyed.
Completely agree, Crystal Rush is so incredibly underrated and shouldn't be at all. She's done some really incredible scenes from GFF and should only be paired with the best of the best talent for every scene she performs in.
The scene that features the cover girls is a very well done scene and is I think the best one on LS 28.
As a GFF fan since their very first release back in 2005, and an owner of every GFF DVD ever released since their beginning, I believe myself a sufficiently qualified fan of their content to state the following comments.
The overall quality of talent has greatly diminished over the last year to unacceptable levels. I realize that the talent universe in adult has greatly changed (and not for the better) since the start of the 2020s but GFF needs to cast far better than they have been. There still are enough above average to exceptional talented, desirable actresses in the industry that GFF needs to feature on a consistent basis in order to keep their reputation as a leader in quality lesbian erotica. Whatever GFF needs to do (e.g. higher rate of pay, etc.), then they need to do it or get out of the business. No long-term fan of GFF wants to see them creating substandard content anymore.
That means:
-No toys of any kind featured in scenes anymore, ever -No more terrible new series that include "men" as the theme or mention men in any way, shape or form; that's what straight porn is there for -Less releases of new series instead of releasing quality long time series (Lesbian Seductions, etc.) -No excessively tattooed actresses featured in most/all scenes as it's been these days -No newbies and/or veteran talent that have no business being in a lesbian scene because of obvious lack of interest and/or experience having sex with women -Not consistently featuring the essentials of a GFF scene in current releases (foreplay/kissing, seduction, 69, tribbing) -Featuring at least 2 scenes, or at a minimum, 4 quality actresses (out of 8) in every release
There are MANY quality actresses still out there to consistently feature for us to enjoy. If GFF needs to go back to "contract girls", then do it. Brazzers features some of the most beautiful, talented actresses in the industry but their scenes, especially lesbian, are completely unwatchable, gonzo garbage and yet they are still able to feature quality talent at the very least.
If anyone from GFF reads this forum, I hope they will read this post and get back to making quality content with quality talent before you lose your core fan base altogether.
On a positive note, GFF recent release DEEP LESBIAN DESIRES has the potential of being a very solid new series with 3 of the 4 scenes being very good. The Gigi Dior/Harley Love scene is a perfect example of a scene starring 2 newbies that not only are exceptional looking but perform an arousing, believable and seductive lesbian pairing. This is one of the best GFF scene releases this year, in a year that has had far too few of them.
A new movie called Lesbian Stepdaughter 8 is coming out soon. I'm not impressed with the cast, especially the girls. The MILFs in it seem good, but we'll see what happens

To respond to your comment above and use this cast as an example. First of all, I'm not arguing about taste. Honestly, they didn't even do a good job with the cover. If you're trying to grab attention, you'd expect them to feature the most attractive actresses. I wish I could participate in this thread because once upon a time I could have talked and talked about GGF movies on a daily basis but that was years ago. ^Man, that's a quick turnaround, Leah only just tweeted about that scene about a week ago. Haven't seen Madelynn May perform but pairing anyone with Sophia should be at least worth a watch. Not bothered about the other 2 scenes but making me watch to watch a GF scene is no mean feat these past few months.

There are two people who could potentially recreate the glory days of GFF if the studio was willing to take them on: Ricky Greenwood and the minds behind AllHerLuv/MissaX. I guarantee you that if they cranked out scenes with that level of intensity and chemistry, they could shoot right back to being near the top of the GG based studios.
I avoid the massage-themed scenes. It's painful to see this trite device get recycled over and over, especially when the cast is appealing and I might have gone for the scene otherwise. A massage table looks uncomfortably narrow, ditto couches, kitchen tables, countertops, etc. Just put them on a bed, the larger the better, four-poster ideal.
To be very honest, after seeing the trailer and screenshots, I've started to miss Dan O'Connell (the former director). The scenes have become more hardcore and there isn't much sensuality and kissing anymore. The storyline has shifted drastically toward individual scenes rather than a proper plot that ties everything together. Also, where is the continuity in the following series: 1. Mother daughter Exchange club 2. Twisted Passions 3.
