These two were and are A+ performers, but while I love Girlsways more complex, high end produced scenes and series, sometimes, something as simple as this scene is very effective. On a slightly different note, got around to watching the Gia Paige and Celeste Star scene All Girls Massage scene. Celeste is like the names above, A+ obviously, but particularly enjoying everything Gia has been in, from AG to Girlsway. Hope she features a lot more in 2017. Maybe a scene replicating one of the scenes of the year for me with Cassidy Klein in Sisters Share Everything, a really beautiful, raw and passionate scene from New Sensations I'd recommend for those who've not seen it. Looking forward to the next 3 scenes out, particularly the return of Jenna Ross working with Jelena Jensen. Still waiting on My Christmas Spirt DVD to arrive too! Top stuff. [Link]

Unsure if there's many Girlfriend Film fans here, but their last release of 2016, Lesbian Seductions 57 is flawless. The sex and non-sexual tidbits, the buildup is just beautifully with seriousness mixed in with some lighthearted moments , the pairings are perfect. LS57 goes up there alongside some of my favourite Girlsway DVD releases this year. IMHO, as a long time Girlfriend Films fan I felt they were quite underwhelming early on in the year, but they've ended it very strongly with their last half a dozen if not a little more releases. Just a suggestion that perhaps will fall on deaf ears I realise given how it works (must request in Girlsway forums, etc), though I hope not. A scene, series and/or feature between Violet Starr and Vanessa Veracruz is needed for 2017. It will be a guaranteed hit. I'm sure Bree at least keeps an eye out on the competition and perhaps gets inspiration for pairings even, but their scene in LS57 is off the wall good, unsurprisingly. Vanessa is Venessa, and I've yet to see a mere above average, let alone anything below that on the rating scale for Violet Starr in terms of her GG work. I'm not even into BG, but even I'm half tempted occasionally to check out her work given how beautiful she is. Also seeing Mindi Mink paired up in LS57 with a woman who needs to be on Girlsway at some point for sure, Anya Olson. I've only seen her with two veterans now in GG scenes, Mindi Mink and Sandy, and that obviously helps. I don't think she's done much more GG work other that so far. But she brings to heat and can act well too. The other two scenes in LS57 are superb as well. The likes of Mindi, Celeste and Vanessa especially need to be cherished. I hope to see them a lot more on Girlsway in 2017 xD [Link]

And yeah, Girlsway has their finger on the pulse on who's hot or up and coming. Even outside Member requests, they leave room to try out other girls who look like they may be a good fit. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before Anya Olsen pops up. The additional scenes featuring Rayveness made me miss all over again, and it's a shame Jenna Reid hasn't been brought back for whatever reason. I know she was in a scene with another GG legend, Sandy for Brazzers that was very good a few months back. Also, Lilly Ford and Amara Romani's debuts, well, hell of a debut for both. Finally, as I was typing this, saw Alan Tweeted about the trailers for Extradition going up, and girl, does it look amazing. Looks like Sandra really excels in this. [Link]

Congrats to her. But even better is that starting from 2017 all Girls of The Month will get their own "Dream Pairing" with a Woman of their choice in "1hr long special episodes w 2 sex scenes!" - Bree Mills. I can't wait to see who Bree Daniels picks for her Dream Pairing. It's a brilliant way to integrate being GOTM and the Dream Pairings, which I was worried were gone. Being 2015's Girl of The Year allowed Shyla Jennings to shoot a scene with Aiden Ashley, which will be her debut on the site. I'm guessing 2016's GOTY will also get the same treatment. I guess it now makes sense why former GOTM's Vanessa Veracruz and Riley Reid were the rare few who got to do their own Dream Pairings. Too much to hope that all former GOTM's get the same chance retroactively. Anyways, the 1st Mini-Series of 2017 starts today: Extradition Part 1. They could have used some more reciprocating shots in the dialogue bits, but the lighting was pretty solid, almost comparable to TV, e.g. Agents of Shield. Most TV programs looks really fake to me anyway, with WAY too much effort put into how they light scenes, giving everyone halos or backlighting. The irony is all that extra effort into staging and photography takes me out of the story. But it looks flashy, and that's what holds sway on TV and in most movies. Big fan of Sarah Vandella too. So she's not convincing as some special ops commando - so what? She can at least emote and project with a sense of some awareness, which automatically puts her in the top 10% of porn acting I suppose. Though idk if she's as good as Chanel Preston. I would have to see more of this to judge, but I definitely can appreciate what they are accomplishing. Porn doesn't have their '24' or 'The Wire' yet, and considering much more limited budgets, seems dubious to expect such any time soon. [Link]

And I'm glad you liked my idea, I think it would be nice to see which girls have the Girlsway seal of approval as it were for those not in the know. ^According to Bree; "...A Girlsway Girl of the Year represents: beauty, intelligence, passion for acting, a genuine love of women and, of course, captivating onscreen sexual performances." So it seems once you are given the honor, it's like an acknowledgment you are an official part of the Girlsway family, and there is no need to re-brand you again. Which is probably why the 2015 and 2016 GOTM's are all different. It's also a great way to acknowledge certain girls who have been putting in work for a while and are "unofficial" Girlsway Girls, but just haven't yet been officially recognized with those coveted blue and white panties and tank-top.
