You made sure to look for hidden folders?
Well, somebody more useful should be coming along. Places to start looking though.
Surely the properties of the icon link tell you where it is?

Because the game takes up a lot of memory, she tried to remove the program using "Control Panel" -- but it won't uninstall. I've been unsuccessful in trying to locate the program files on her hard drive in order to manually delete them. This is making me a little nuts. Suggestions, anyone? [Link] |

| jamesnadt Deactivated User cambridge, ma 152 Posts 2/06 | Posted - Apr 9 2006 : 8:26PM then look through C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information for evidence of the install package for it. then see if it left anything in C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Installations then look for traces in C:\Program Files\Common Files, C:\Documents and Settings\yournamehere\Application Data and C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\Local Settings\Application Data i bet you find a bunch of stuff, if you give it a shot, i can run you through how the regedit stuff you can do to make it totally dissapear. | oatmeal Meat Popsicle Seeking Beauty 1738 Posts 8/04 | Posted - Apr 9 2006 : 8:31PM 2) if that's not the right version of your game try here and find the program version and support article 3) another desperation move is to remove the uninstall entry from the control panel (you can do this using tweak ui or ccleaner) and deleting the folders manually. The Rollercoaster Tycoon folder will probably be listed in a sub-folder under c:\program files (in either a Rollercoaster Tycoon, atari or infograms folder) [Link] |

It finds all the registry entries and various files that were likely scattered around your hard drive when the game was installed. http://www.v-com.com/product/SystemSuite_Home.html The virus scanner is very good as well. This could mean re-installing Windows and possibly losing all information on your computer! Delete the games folder: 1. Click the Windows Start Button Open the Registry Editor: 1. Click on Start Delete the Fish Technology Group Key: 1. Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE Delete the RollerCoaster Tycoon Uninstall Key: 1. Go back up to the top Close the registry editor. [Link] |

You can always just "Quit" the install process if you don't find the uninstaller there anyway. [Link] |

In the System Restore dialog box, click Create a Restore Point, and then click Next. Then, it's a good idea to name the restore point like 'Restore Point before adding Nero' or something like that.' Windows XP creates restore points automatically but it's a good idea to create one when you make changes to your computer. You hope you never need it, but if you do, you'll be grateful you did.
